Durnir looks to Walf, then switches his sword and shield for a crossbow.
"I think tweeting at these creatures won't help. Let me try to persuade them." Durnir will step forward and uses Thaumaturgy to make his voice boom three times as loud. "LEAVE NOW, YE TURKEYS! BEFORE WE DECIDE TO FEAST TONIGHT!" He will then aim at the closest vulture and holds steady.
As the others are working to scare away the vultures, Davis moves towards the ship itself, attempting to see if he can get to the wreck, and aboard it if possible.
Adaban, confused by the hesitation, raises his left arm, palm upward, towards one of the creatures. "Nature allows magic." He Eldritch Blasts the bird, then without a care strolls towards the body it was consuming.

As the voice booms across the rocky beach, the vultures take the hint and scatter. You all see now in full view the grisly, decomposing remains of a womanly figure. Most of the flesh facing upwards has been removed by the scavengers, leaving the sinewy musculoskeletal tissue exposed.

The energized blast results in a spattering of feather and viscera that adds to the gruesome scene.
Khione, seemingly unfazed by the gruesome scene, kneels down next to the woman's body and looks at it closely. She pulls out one of her daggers and begins pushing the flayed flesh on the face back, hoping to garner any details about what this woman looked like in life, whether or not the earring that was found matches what she wears, or if she can even figure out what caused this woman to die here- whether it be natural causes, blunt force trauma, an open wound, or elsewise.
As the others start investigating, Durnir will take up watch. He will go to a high rock or outcropping and look out to make sure there are no surprises coming there way. (Perception Nat 1, 7 total). "I'll keep watch, make sure you all stay safe, nothing will get past me!"

You would find that the water is just 5 feet from the corpse at this point. The ship is about 80-100 feet from you. (Are you wading in?)

(That's only a 13 for investigation)
The vultures have done a pretty good job of cleaning their plate, and unfortunately any details of the face are lost. The ears aren't present. She wears a robe that is torn and shredded, and you can tell it to be a high quality cotton. Her exposed thoracic cavity has broken ribs, some of them missing.

You make your way onto one of the many rock formations present on this beach - this particular one giving you about 10 extra feet from the ground level. As the others investigate, you don't seem to see anything that would raise alarm. As the night edges onward, the birds have begun to disperse.
Seeing how far away the ship is Davis decides it is not worth a swim to get out to it as of yet. He moves over to stand near the ones investigating the corpse.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ivy rocks on the balls of her feet observing how each of the others approach the situation. With old wise eyes so assuredly looking out for them, Ivy also hovers around Khione and the corpse. While the woman leads her own investigation, Ivy takes note of any skeletal, or left over tissues that may indicate anything Khione could have missed.

Ivy would notice looking at this corpse something very bizarre. The exposed bones seem to be more greyish than usual. Almost like stone.
Adaban combs the beach for bodies or supplies from the ship that need to be dragged further onshore. He knows the tides will come in time.
Looking over the beach, you find mostly debris from the ship, and no bodies. However, there is a small chest and two casks that appear to have somehow made it to the shore intact.
Walf looks over the scene trying to discern what caused the wreck while Khione checks on the dead body
Nature check to see if he can tell if it was nature that caused the wreck: 10
It does appear that nature has had some effect on the ship at the very least. It appears wedged between two rock formations and waves crash into it. The back portion is completely submerged by the look of it, and the sails are tattered and twisted.
“It seems we have a bone to pick with this one…” Ivy mutters to themself as they ponder what the grey bone could mean. She reaches over to whomever she can, Walf and/or Durnir. Ivy tugs on their sleeve in hopes to get their assistance, and guidance, to review the stone like skeletal remains.

Walf feeling Ivy's tug on his sleeve snaps out of looking over the wreckage wondering if it was a bad current that caused the crash. He turns to what Ivy was pointing to in the grey bone. He is sure he's read something like this before. He helps her in trying to figure out what the grey bone means
