Davis - After a brief battle with the waves, you find yourself at the edge of this ship. Rigging and rope hangs off the side, offering ample hand and footholds to make your way up to the deck of the ship. You see now the ship appears to be a medium sized vessel - perhaps 50-60 feet in length, though the stern is mostly submerged.

Ivy - you're able to keep an eye on Davis as he makes his way out into the choppy waters. He looks as though he's holding up quite well as the forces work against him.
Walf - standing on the rock, you're able to get a good view of Davis, the ship, and the waters beyond. The moonlight combined with your darkvision allow for you to see the entire area of this bay. You also see now the water is washing up to the corpse.
At the boat Davis pauses to wave back to his companions, then starts to climb aboard. The ropes and other parts of the ship are wet, but seem to give ample places for him to grab onto as he hauls himself up and onto the deck of the ship. Once there he gets his bearings as he looks around.
Davis - You climb up the side of the boat, a relatively trivial task. Once you make your way onto the deck, you see a few things that could be of interest.
Firstly, another body. This one lies on the deck, facedown. The wood and clothing around the body is stained with blood.
Secondly, there is a hatchdoor on the deck leading into the ship. It is currently closed.
Lastly, A quick evaluation suggests the lower levels of the ship are mostly flooded if not completely submerged.
Davis moves to the body, kneeling down and checking the corpse for anything of interest. He tries to think as he does this, trying to get an idea on if this ship is so flooded it is settled on the bottom of this part of the coast or if it is still afloat. If floating he tries to be quick, as he does not wish for the ship to break free and get pulled back out away from the coast, at least not while he is still on it. If settled on the ground, then he would take his time, as it would be unlikely the ship would move with it firmly settled on the floor of this section of coastline.
Davis - The boat does move about slightly as the waves push in from the sea, though it seems to be wedged between two rock formations. You determine it could possibly be dislodged, assuming a strong enough force, though for the time being it appears stuck. Seeing as the stern is completely submerged, you would probably guess that there is a hole somewhere below, resulting in the sunken portion.
Checking the body over, you immediately notice the grey skin of this person - unlike the body on the beach, this one appears to be completely turned to stone.
With his check of the body done, and the ship appearing to be going to stay put - at least for now, Davis moves to the door he noticed before. He checks it over, trying to tell if it is locked or just closed. He also looks for any damage to it, a bit concerned as to what could have turned that body to stone.
Davis - The floor creaks as you make your way over to the hatch door, and you can see that is it damaged. the boards of the hatch are bent and bowed upward, some of them cracked in half. The hatch's latch is also broken - the part that should be affixed to the deck is bent upward, the nails pulled up out of the baseboard.
As you have stopped and are looking at this hatch, you hear the sound of slow, heavy footsteps from below deck. It sounds as if they stop below you on the otherside of the hatch.
The rest of you may have a hard time keeping eyes on Davis as he makes his way onto the deck of the ship. The way that its angled partially obscures your sight as he moves around, and the varying ranges of distance and darkvision would have an effect.
Durnir - The water continues to rise, soon to be halfway up your thighs. You find you have about 30ft of slack still before the rope is taut.
The moon continues to rise, now cresting over the trees on the ridge. It's glow shines through the foliage, orange and illuminating the shore. Clouds at times blot out its light making you reliant on your darkvision, but its never for long. All that can be heard now is the surge of water as the tide continues to wash the shore. Those of you that are currently on dry land would notice that water has now risen to the point where the corpse would have been completely submerged had it not been relocated.
Durnir watches as the water rises. He'll call out to Davis "OY, DAVIS! Did you find anything? You have a little bit of slack left, but the tide is really coming in now. If you don't find anything soon, best to come back."
To Ivy "Alright, lass. Keep a good grip. Let Helm guide you!" Durnir will cast Guidance on Ivy.
To Walf "See anything up there, Walf? We've lost sight of Davis."
As soon as Davis hears the steps below-deck he steps back from the door. "Something, or someone, is below-decks here!" He calls out back to the others, hoping they can hear him over the sound of the waves. "Hoy, down below deck, do you need help?" He calls out, now turning to call down to whomever made those stepping sounds below deck.
Thinking of the stone corpse laying on the deck though, Davis readies for a quick response if needed. He moves to where he can simply leap overboard, back towards shore.
Readied action: If the door begins to open, in any manner, Davis leaps overboard and swims for shore.
Davis - As soon as you begin to talk, you hear the slow, thudding noise of stone on wood from below.
As you step back, the hatchdoor bursts open, pieces of wood sent into the air. Grey, stone arms reach out onto the deck, grabbing ahold of anything it can and pulling itself up. You see a hulking statue-like humanoid figure emerge slowly from below. It's grey eyes meet yours momentarily, before you leap overboard.
Walf - you see this other figure emerge from below, and you're not sure if your darkvision is playing tricks on you but it appears grey. Then you see Davis jump ship.

Ivy squints, keeping eyes on Davis. "He made it!" She reports.
