"I think I might be able to move the mirrors, but where would we want the light reflected? Into the pool or onto the door?" Etrigan calls out from above.
“Both the purple gem on the lever and the gem on the door are glowing.” Athyra says thoughtfully, “There must be something more to this… So far the black lever is the only one that has done anything… Shine it in the door first. If that does nothing, shine it on the pool… Or start with whichever is easier.”
The mirror wiggles a bit but defies being moved for good for the moment. A cursory glance tells you it is probably just stiff from being unused for a long time. It's just going to take a better effort or something to make it easier for the mirrors to move.
(hahaha, poor Etrigan!) The last effort is good enough to push the mirrors around and you watch the beam of moonlight move towards the doorway...but nothing happens. With a few more pushes you can re-align the mirrors so the moonlight covers the pool of water where the levers sit. Doing so everyone can hear a faint hum and click before the door suddenly opens...but you quickly realize that it is the hallway you escaped from earlier!

"Try the levers now." Etrigan calls down to the others by the pool, still hovering by the mirrors. He also looks up, trying to figure out where the moonlight is really coming from. Investigation: 12 Another roll if Zasz can help out: 14
“Alright!” Athyra calls excitedly. She runs back over to the levers then pulls the black one so it aligns with the blue gem, and the white one so it is in the same position as the black one.
It is hard to tell where the source of the moonlight is coming from, but the effect is most likely magical in some way.
As you flip the white lever again you are reminded it has only 2 positions: forward or back. Pushing it forward, nothing seems to happen after the room stops moving, even though the door gem is now lit up on blue. Flipping the white lever back though you can hear another soft click as if things are locking into place, and a moment later the door opens!
As you step into the room, you first realize the chamber is not that big, maybe 30ft deep, but a sudden sickening "glorp" sound comes forth as you see 5 blood oozes in a loose circle around a wooden chest at the back of the room suddenly come to life and begin to slowly come your direction!
"I would not hesitate to turn tail, but something tells me we should take a closer look at that chest."Etrigan says and uses his black rod to blast away at the blood oozes while ascending towards the ceiling, carried by his bat-like wings.

Etrigan initiative: 16
Etrigan ascends away from the blood oozes, swiftly placing his hex on the closest glob (Hex, dex) before turning the black rod with purple veins against it, unleashing two beams of purple crackling force.
“Well that did something,” Daj says as the light hits the pool. The others continue to work on the mirrors and levers unroll the blue gem finally glows and they hear a snick. Hammer at the ready, Daj moves toward the door, wart of what might be on the other side. Stepping into the room with the others close behind, it is impossible to miss the ooze. With little room to manoeuvre, Daj calls out the others. “Let’s fall back to the doorway, see if we can’t limit their access.”
(Manually move, just roll a STR check)

"Those gems must be important in some way. Can you get it to light up the gems on the door?"

Etrigan nods, hoping his efforts will be of some use, hovering by the mirrors while trying to realign them to make the light shine on the door.

Etrigan growls and tries again.

"So, shall we head into the blue sector then?" Etrigan says as he lands by the others, giving Daj a slight bow while motioning fore him to take point.

“Yes!” Athyra says as she walks towards the door.
