Drezmir stays uncharacteristically quiet. If they don't get the Dawnblade now, he sees no reason to come back for it. It doesn't belong to them, it belongs to Gwen. All that matters to him is getting to Simon. He is still not up to full health, in spite of making it through that battle unscathed. His arm felt...not numb, but it had that tingling sensation as if he'd lost blood circulation for a moment and it was just now returning. Not to mention the fact that he was still...well, he was still stuck in this fox form.
After a moment he walks up behind Gilded, Robin, and Vex. If he was stuck in this form he might as well put it to use. If he gets knocked out...well hopefully it will get rid of this accursed body.
In preparation, he reaches for the storm within, it would chip away at his already dwindling health, but it was better to get it over with now then have to deal with it while fighting Simon.
Hemocraft die: 2
His scars light up, and he cringes as some of his life force is sucked away. As this happens, lightning crackles around his hands. He lifts up his paw, staring at the electricity as it leaps from one claw to another. Hopefully he won't have to use it. But it is there if he needs it.

For some reason, I thought you were more of a werewolf... since you got bigger, had claws etc... So your basically a kitsune/kumiho? You would not grow with that I wouldn't think.

(Yeah, I re-flavored the werewolf form to be a kitsune form to fit his backstory. He does grow because of the nature of the kitsune form, how he got it, what he got it from. So yeah, big fox. I'm pretty sure werewolves actually get bigger then him...I know I looked at it at some point but I could be wrong.)

(lol... its all good. Drezmir doesn't think he's cute, if he was a wolf he wouldn't have the same reaction. As a kitsune, he has reason to hate the form.)
As Corvus waits for the others to make up their mind, he starts investigating the room. As he does this, his familiar flies over to Drezmir and lands on his shoulder. It gives the fox man an odd look then starts licking his wounds like a mother dog might do to her pup. Corvus doesn't seem to notice this as he walks around the room.
Drezmir frowns at the little dragon, then gently shoos it away, "That probably isn't good for you. You'd be better off tending to your master." He watches the dragon fly away (assuming it does), with a blank look on his face.
Then he looks to Vex, his expression still blank, and his eyes distant, "I don't think now is the time to be asking that question."
Jess wasn't able to find much, the room that made sense it was vast and many distractions laid waste but she couldn't find anything worthy besides some armor and rapiers. Was she rushing? What could be impeding her investigation so much? Perhaps she simply had a lot on her mind. Or maybe she was frustrated with the internal strife of one day. Robin had leaned over grabbing one of the rapiers for himself.
"It's better than what I've got honestly." Placing his shortsword on his back he placed a rapier on his side. There were other rapiers if the party had wanted some as well. Corvus though doesn't appear as confused as Jess's confusion doesn't find anything useful to him. Pictures of art and nice dressers around but nothing to sell or fight with. Robin readies himself looking to door 11 he draws his bow (sixty feet away from the door.) It's than Vex ask his question to the group. Robin isn't sure how to react, truly Vex was but a stranger to him so he knew this question was more for his allies. Robin wasn't sure if this was the time to talk this out but.. He wasn't in charge of this group either so he'd wait if the others had something to hash out first. Robin appears surprised Gilded had asked for his help with the lock. Robin was still grateful for Gilded sparing the guards.
"S-Sure no problem. However, I'm not bad with locks but if someone here has more skill than me.. They can try, if I mess up it could give us away. I'm confident but I specialize in archery more than breaking and entering believe it or not. Still I'm good with my hands. (In universe way of saying he gets +4 if anyone else has thieves tools proficiency with +3 Dex they'd have +5 and probably be better suited than him. I don't think anyone does but still makes sense for Robin to ask first.)"
Robin waits to see if Vex will take the front with him, Robin sighs and put's his bow on his back. He than draws his rapier coming closer to the door and beside Gilded.
"I'll stand beside you too.. I'm quick and I can take a punch.. You learned that from our first meeting."
Robin joked rubbing his jaw, Robin may look scrawny and he couldn't use heavy armor but he's taking many beatings around here. Though his best skill was archery he could fight on the front too if it was needed.
OOC Does Gilded wanna use perception or investigation to check the room? Each skill will do something different or he can do both of course if he wants ^^
The little dragon gives Drezmir a hurt look before flying off towards Corvus.
Corvus, giving up his searching looks up just as the dragon flies over to him. He raises his cyber arm and allows it to land on his shoulder. As he strokes the little dragon's nose, he looks up at Vex as if he is about to say something. However, he just shrugs and follows the others to room 11.
Kocino looks to Vex. “We can talk over things after we deal with Simon. Besides, we all have to figure out what our next steps will be. Who knows if we stick together.”
Drezmir notices something off as the little dragon flies back to Corvus. Realization suddenly dawns on him and his frown deepens. What was going on here? He walks over to Corvus, "Would you care to tell me why your familiar just took some of my blood? I don't think its good for him to ingest any of it..." He reaches over and wipes some blood off of the dragon's face, doing his best to be gentle in spite of his sharp claws. His words are not accusing, more...worried and cautious.
He stops petting it's nose for a moment then glares at the little creature, "Animals do strange things."
When Drezmir tries to wipe the blood off it's face, it rears backwards and hisses at him. Falling backwards, it flaps its wings to catch itself, then flies up towards the ceiling where none of them can reach it. Corvus glares up at it then looks at his hand, seeing some blood on it, he pulls out the handkerchief that he had previously used to wipe blood off his Cyber claw and starts wiping it off onto it.
"Well, if your blood poison's it, it serves it right..." He puts the handkerchief away. "Why do you think it's bad for it anyways? It's just blood. Animals eat blood all the time."
Drezmir is a little slow to pull his hand back, but it proves unnecessary anyways as the dragon tumbles backwards. He looks up at it and says, "I'm only trying to keep you alive." Sighing, puts a hand to his head as if to push back his hair, but flinches when his hand comes into contact with his long ears as well. His expression sours for a moment before changing to a more sullen one again.
When Corvus shows no concern for the familiar, and then asks him the question, Drezmir hesitates. Does Corvus really not care about the animal at all? That seems rather cruel. Why would it matter if the creature eats his blood? He isn't even sure himself. "I... I don't know if it matters or not. I just... well I already told everyone about the ritual I went through that gave me the power to resurrect that Giant. I suppose I didn't say that the ritual involved mutating my blood...fusing it with..." He growls, then stops himself realizing what he's doing. Shaking his head he looks down at his hands, "...with something very dangerous." His gaze shift's to Corvus, "Though, I suppose it isn't as if I haven't left my blood to soak into the earth, or dry up on the floor in this very manor. Perhaps there is nothing to worry about. I've already suffered the damage. I doubt the power could be recycled since it has already been fused with me. ...I hope it can't."
He closes his eyes, forcing back the memories from his youth. The pain, the disappointment, the expectations, everything. There had been plenty of happy moments, but now...all he could focus on were those bad ones. He should have seen them as a sign. Perhaps he should never have left Romalia. Perhaps if he had stayed under Fulgur's watchful gaze...it wouldn't have gone this far. Yet the elders had told him to go! Dare he question their judgment? Had they known this would happen? No, how could they. This had been a shot in the dark for them. Still, they called him their destined savior. Trained him to be confident in his powers, in his skills, in his fate. Fulgur had been watching, dare he question his own god? No...he has to trust in something, but that doesn't make this any better--or any easier. Not when he is sure that if he were to look in the mirror, he'd see the face of his sworn enemy.
His eyes grow distant again, and unless Corvus says something else, Drezmir will return to his position at the door where he waits for Robin to open it.
Cocking his head, Corvus looks at Drezmir, fixing him with his red gaze, "Do you truly despise your own power so much?" He sounds sincere and genuinely curious.
"Up until today... I probably enjoyed it to much. It was the gift stolen from my adversary, given to me to use against him. Now... I don't know anymore," He speaks softly, as if not really talking to Corvus.

Then Vex asks the rest of the group something.. unexpected. ”Why do you all keep me around?”
Kocino joins the group at the door and readies himself for the fight.
