"Information on what, exactly? Another weapon?" Stepping out from the edges of the tavern with a stupid smirk plastered all over his face, Amon will not let pass an opportunity to talk to Corvus. "Or are you planning on stealing some other important artifact? I'd really love to know."

Drezmir listens to the fairy and the Aarakocra's discussion, though he can't think of anything to say. Clearly Corvus doesn't want help with whatever he is looking for, and clearly he doesn't like this fairy. Still... "You know Corvus, if you're going to be sticking with us, you might as well let us help you where we can. What's the point in having friends otherwise?"
He looks to Sykt, "Okay, Sykt. You can call me Drezmir. But still, you didn't answer my question. Why didn't you alert anyone when you saw Vex being dragged off? I mean, wouldn't you have wanted someone to try and help you if you were the one being kidnapped? I'm sure Vex would have at least tried to help had your situations been reversed. Right now, if you are intending to head to the capitol, I don't see any reason why we can't let you tag along, but we kind of need to know whether or not you'll have our backs." His tone isn't as accusing as before, but he is still very serious in his question.
“Many reasons, Drezmir. Number one, most were asleep at the time and would probably not like being woken up. Number two, how would they help? By calling for your help? It took around 3 minutes for the criminals to run away with him, so it was pointless. That is only two of the reasons.”
Replying to Gilded, ”The capital is fine with me. I believe there was also talk of Amon’s boss being an issue to address as well.”
Kocino watches Sykt repeat their non-answers. “You couldn’t get help because you just didn’t? And you didn’t do anything to stop because you just couldn’t? Travel alongside us if you wish, but those excuses don’t amount to anything. As far as I’m concerned, you’re a bigger liability than the active criminal we now have in our troupe.”
Drezmir blows through his teeth and runs a hand over his face, "I must agree with Kocino Sykt. Those are poor excuses. All of us would have preferred to lose sleep rather then to lose our friend, and even if you yourself couldn't do anything, most of us would have been able to. Even if it only took three minutes for those ruffians to get him out of the building, it definitely took them longer then that to get out of town. If an alarm was sounded, we might have been able to track him down if not stop them altogether."
He looks to Kocino, "That aside, I'm glad to hear you'll be joining us."
Turning back to Sykt, he gives the tiefling a tired look, "What can you bring to our party, if we allow you to accompany us?"
Gwen almost raises a hand to Jess taking the stone over Drezmir but he had said something first. She gave a nod and a smile.
"Yeah I can coordinate experiments with you, just cause he'll hold onto it doesn't mean anyone can't contact me if needed."
Gwen looks to Sy as he says Drezmir's name in casual passing.
"How do you.. Know his name? Did I miss you saying something Drez? Him.. And now the fairy? That seems like.. Two fishy new figures to bring along. However you never know, Vex was a bit.. Off at times but he did help in the end. Feel free to take the ointment and Splintmail that was meant for him sir Drezmir sir Gilded."
She said with a soft smile looking toward the rest of the group a bit relieved they were all sticking together. Drezmir still seemed to be asking Sy a few questions. Would he question bringing Amon along as well? He seemed to be a bit more careful than before. Gwen was a bit.. Relieved she had always trusted Drezmir but being careful never hurt either and she was glad to see he was being careful. Not that she disliked his trusting side that was one of the reasons she.. Well that wasn't the thought to focus on now was it?
"After you guys sort this out and head to Cobble's let me tell you how to get to the capital. There should be a map with that bag of gold but there will be a main road and a mountain road. The mountain road will be quicker but the terrain and the walk will be rough. It's more popular however as the main road is more likely for bandits and the such to set up ambushes nowadays.
Gilded listens to all of the talk of travel. He hears Corvus and Amon go at it over what Corvus will be searching for and replies. "Have you learned anything about that orb you were so adamant that only you should see?" He asks Corvus. "You did tell us you took it so you could study it, have you studied it at all yet, or did you even need to? To be honest, I think you knew what it was all along, and decided you deserved it over anyone else."
"I welcome you to travel with us to the capital, but know that I do not trust you, and I will be watching you. I don't know about the others, but it is hard to to trust anyone that hides their intentions from everyone else, and you have shown over and over that you are not willing to be a part of the group. You choose to use us as a means to your ends only."
Gilded looks at Amon. "I can't really trust you either, I don't know you enough, but if your travelling with us, you may as well be useful." He hands Amon his weapons back. "I will be watching you as well."
He looks at Skyt.."Hmmm, I am not even sure what you are, much less who you are. But you can't be worse than what we already have. Welcome to the group."
“Thank you, Dragonborn. You seem like a likeable and trustable person. May I request your name?” Sykt replies to Gilded “Although, there is one thing I should tell you. There may be a fiend inside of me, watching our every move.”
"Honest? I have no idea why you should trust me." If there is an empty table nearby, Amon will sit on top of it. To get at least close to everyone else's height. He leans back on his hands and beams at the Aaracockra. "But it looks like I'm sticking with you for at least a little while longer, so you might as well start doing it now."
He turns to the newcomer, holding his smile. "Skytyvykr. Nice name, I'm Amon."
He raises a hand at Kocino in a 'None taken' gesture.
The second Amo sees the metallic glint of his weapons, he nearly jumps out of his seat. He forces himself to calm down before nodding and taking them back. "I understand. As long as I get to do something." Before jumping back on the table, he equips all weapons except a rapier with a fancy basket. He pulls outa rag and, climbing back on the table, starts to polish the copper rose on the hilt.

Sykt looks to Amon, and greets him. “Good day, sir Amon. How do you do?”
He towers over most, being just short of 7 feet tall. As he becomes acquainted with a few party members, his large, red tail uncurls from his left leg as he gets more comfortable around the group. At least a few of them trust him.
Drezmir watches as Sykt continues to interact with the group, unsure of what to do from there. The tiefling had all but ignored his questions...perhaps he'd realized his mistake. Still, Drezmir also realizes that if the newcomer had made no mention of Vex, he probably would have buddied up with him without a second thought. Now...well he doesn't know how to react. Gilded seemed to accept him, so if the Paladin was willing to give this stranger a chance, so was he.
Letting out a breath he crosses his arms and tries to put on a pleasant expression, "Well, Sykt. I'm willing to give you a chance. I just hope that next time you see someone in need of help you at least reach out to others who might be able to do what you cannot. Perhaps traveling with us will help you become stronger." He pauses, "As for your fiend, honestly that doesn't matter to me. Iv'e got my own fiends and demons to deal with so what's one more?" He shrugs, "So...where do you hail from? And what brings you to Glanzing Winds?"
He looks to Gwen as she explains that the Mountain road would be quicker and safer, he smiles, "Well, maybe we should take the main road then. We can clear out some of those bandits for those who wish to take that route."

"Why in Fractum would I trust you to help me?" The irritation in his voice becoming more evident.
“Fine. You ask for my name, I’ll give you my name. My name is Syktyvkyr Kpsykc. Happy?
Jess: "Sykt seems reasonable to me. Hello, Sykt, I'm Jess."
“Hello there, Jess. And that nickname is fine, because, as I said, my name is too difficult to pronounce on it’s own.”
