Faloniir holds his attack as the 3 tentacles were quickly dispatched. He doesn’t have to wait long, as 5 new tentacles quickly rush out of the waters and seek targets on the ship! They move with incredible accuracy, pinpointing sailors and grabbing them. 4 of the tentacles grab sailors but the 5th strikes at Fro!
(19 to hit)
8 slashing damage! But your rage can reduce that?
The tentacle has serrated teeth lining the ventral grabbing side and Fro is slashed as the tentacle wraps her up! Fro, you are grappled but you also need to make a constitution saving throw as you feel a burning pain where the tentacle slashed you.
Faloniir I imagined holding his arrow ready for a new target and can loose that arrow as a ready action (Fro’s tentacle or a sailor tentacle?) and take a new action this round!
Faloniir will shoot the tentacle that goes after Fro first. If it's still a threat in round 2 he will target it again, if not he'll target the other tentacle.
(Readied Action rolls if needed) Longbow: 13 Damage: 11
Faloniir’s arrow slices through Fro’s tentacle and it goes limp, but the damage has been done! Fro struggles to break free and feels like her strength forced the tentacle loose, it really it had gone slack because of Faloniir’s arrow severing through it. Then she shouts out a taunt but to the others it’s just slurred nonsense as Fro suddenly crashes down to the deck. She’s paralyzed!
Icewalker & Wolfhunter each slice down another tentacle, and Faloniir displays some impressive archery hitting another of the sinuous writhing things with his arrow. The tentacles slump, releasing their sailors, and are withdrawn back into the sea.
Cyro, you charge the last tentacle and dice it up with your swords, but it would be difficult to reach another one with your speed being only 20 and the tentacles are appearing all over the ship.
Captain Hightower is shouting, “You’ll not drag us down to a watery grave, Ye great sea beast!”
Icewalker and Wolfhunter stand back to back, weapons ready, faces set with concentration. They’ve proven to be an asset in this struggle.
Fro is paralyzed on the deck, same as some of the other sailors. She’s breathing though.
So far you’ve kept pace with the tentacles! But now 5 more launch themselves out of the water, as before. They all grab sailors, one of whom is Brash! He gives a roar and struggles against the slimy living rope that’s grabbed him.
Faloniir is glad to see the tentacle release Fro, but curses when more of them appear, "Damn!" He'll fire two arrows at two separate tentacles, targeting the one that holds Brash first. If any others are currently holding another crewmate he'll fire his second shot at them.
Cyro grabs his +1 dagger and throws it at one tentacle, then uses his shortsword to slice the other. To hit dagger: 17 Damage dagger: 8 To hit shortsword: 20 Damage shortsword: 8
Nice move Cyro! But throwing a dagger over 20 feet will impose disadvantage, so please make another attack roll for the dagger. Your short sword cleanly slices through the tentacle on the other side of the ship, though.
Nice, just when it looks like the party is about to start falling behind in terms of the tentacle onslaught, Cyro pulls out the Aeorian dagger and makes a great throw across the length of the ship, spearing right through the other tentacle. The dagger goes skittering along the deck, trailing slime.
In what can clearly be interpreted as a frustrated roar, the sea monster under the ship makes a loud bellowing noise as it rises up at the side of the ship. Water gushes off its long, undulating form. Its body is obscured by a writhing mass of countless tentacles, though you see some that have been severed. A beak-like orifice gnashes open and closed, and the bellowing noise comes from there.Three large eyes weave on eye stalks, glaring at all of you. A stench like rotting fish washes over you all.
Many tentacles lash out! They all grab sailors, except one scoops up Captain Hightower!
Fro stumbles to her feet, the feeling of sickness making her stomach roll. She is happy to see the battle going well until the creature rises up out if the water. She swallow the bile that was in her throat and uses her battleaxe to go after the tentacle with the captain if it's close enough.
She tries to scream, as that is her way, but only a sickly gurgle comes out. "Uhhh" Thank goodness it did not effect her swing.
(Also Nontyper you have been violent with the tentacles the last few rounds, I do not think you need to bonus action to rage again, but what do I know? I’m a new guy. But if that is the case then your rage would be continued and you could attack twice.)
Faloniir aims for an eyeball and fires an arrow, then if Brash is within distance, he'll head over to him and try to drag him behind some form of cover. If he is unable to do that, Faloniir will just stand over Brash, hoping to provide a bit of cover himself.

Action Surge
Longbow: 12 Damage: 7
Icewalker and Wolfhunter have begun to sing a battle hymn as they hew down more tentacles. Each takes down another tentacle.
Sailors are running pell-mell across the deck. Some are dragging paralyzed ones towards stairs to get them belowdecks.
Fro's muscles clench and unclench painfully as she overcomes the poison in her system. She can move again, starting next round.
Faloniir takes out another tentacle (the one holding Brash) but his second shot just misses the thin slithery target.
There are still two tentacles intact with Cyro left to act. Each one is at opposite ends of the ship!
Cyro grabs his +1 dagger and throws it at one tentacle, then uses his shortsword to slice the other. To hit dagger: 17 Damage dagger: 8 To hit shortsword: 20 Damage shortsword: 8
