The sea monster roars with anger, even as it brings one of the sailors up to its mouth and gobbles him whole! At the same time, other unencumbered tentacles are coiling together into two thicker ropes. They look ready to strike with lethal force, rather than grab! (18 initiative)
The two groupings of tentacles suddenly slam down and sweep across the deck, as if trying to scoop everyone on deck together and clap them together!
Everyone make a dexterity saving throw!
ROUND 5
2 sailors still grappled by tentacles - being lifted into the air!
( it says send to everyone. Anyway) Dex save: 19 rolled in game log. If it is not seen there is something wrong. Cyro quickly dashes out of the way, and strikes at the tentacles holding the people. To hit 1: 8 To hit 2: 18 Damage 1: 19 And 2: 7
(( I still don’t see your rolls, but when I make rolls on your character sheet they show up ))
Faloniir and Cyro are able to either leap over or slide under the swinging mass of tentacles. Wolfhunter and Icewalker also seemingly effortlessly avoid them, and continue their hack and slash. They attack one of the tentacle masses, but Wolfhunter misses his attack and Icehunter’s axe gives only a glancing blow.
Faloniir and Cyro are able to free the remaining two soldiers, severed tentacles writhing up into the air and dripping slime. The monster roars with anger and pain. Quite a few of its tentacles have been severed! But the main body is covered with many more, and they writhe incessantly. Two more lash out, one grabbing a sailor and the other grabbing at Icewalker, but he avoids it!
Fro leaps over the swooping tentacle mass as well, but her balance is off and her attacks are ineffectual this round, juuust missing as the tentacle mass swooshes.
Each large tentacle wavers up in the air for a moment before coming crashing down, attempting to squash you! One aimed at Faloniir and the other at Wolfhunter, but they both missed, you saw it coming and were able to sidestep!
Icewalker runs over to the grabbed sailor and slashes the small tentacle cleanly through with his axe.
ROUND 6
1 small tentacle has newly grabbed a sailor, who was then freed by Icewalker
18 Two large tentacle masses - missed Faloniir and Wolfhunter
The thicker tentacles move unpredictably and resist your chopping and slashing attacks much more readily, though Fro does cut into one of them a bit. But then Faloniir makes a clean shot, skewering one of the eyeballs with an arrow. The eyeball rips apart, spilling clear goo, as the arrow sails right through and continues out into the ocean. The sea monster writhes in pain and anger, but apparently has finally had enough, withdrawing its tentacles (many now cut short), lowering itself down into the water, submerging, disappearing.
Just like that, it’s over. You become more aware of the sound of sailors groaning in pain. Many are injured, albeit not mortally wounded, and were poisoned, though the paralytic effect seems to wear off after a minute or two. Even Captain Hightower was not spared, though he is on his feet (a little shaky) and starting to bark orders.
The ship is a mess. Goo, blood, and severed tentacles litter the deck. But no major structural damage is apparent.
Wolfhunter and Icewalker appear to be uninjured. They put up their weapons and survey the scene impassively.
Most of the sailors, being a hardy bunch, are recovering from their injuries and the poison is wearing off, thanks in part to the quick actions of your group and the other two goliaths. There are two sailors that are more seriously hurt, one who received particularly deep lacerations from the strange tentacles, and another who has not yet recovered from the poison. He is breathing but not doing much else.

Now I remember. You were stuck in the tentacle and didn’t attack. I did see that part, just needed to check.
Cyro I didn’t understand your rolls, and I don’t see them in the game log.
Fro frees the captain! He swoons onto the deck.
Faloniir, surprisingly, missed the eyeball. It’s high up in the air and weaving and bobbing around unpredictably, tough target.
The two other goliaths are hacking and slashing as fast as they can. They release 2 more sailors.
5 sailors are still grabbed with tentacles, pending Cyro’s clarification! Their struggles weaken and heads loll as poison seeps in.
I can guarantee I did it in gamelog. There could be something going on with it, but I did do it.

Do I make a dex save? Or do I not?
No, the tentacles were crashing down vertically onto Faloniir and Wolfhunter only, single targeting.
I rolled to hit in the game log for both of those and the rolls were low, I didn’t bother mentioning that part and just summed it up as “they missed”
Ok. In that case Cyro will chop at the two tentacles with his shortswords. Same old thing, I’ll roll it here. Hit 1 and 2: 7 15 Damage 1 and 2: 5 4
Fro will swing with both handaxes at one of the large tentacles..
"Aiiiiiieeeee' she screams as she rushes over and swings... In her rage, she misses with one and does little damage with the other....
To hit: Damage: 8 Damage 6
To Hit: 16 Damage: 3
Faloniir will try to skewer an eyeball again.
Longbow: 25 Damage: 6

Cyro walks around and checks if people are okay. Medicine if needed: 12
