Fro pulls her greataxe back over her shoulder. "Don't shoot them yet, stay behind me for now." she pulls up her shield as well, ready in case the frogs make a move toward them. If the frogs do not attack, she eases up to the bucket with Faloniir and peers inside as well.
The cave extends for at least 60 feet from the entrance where you’re at.
There are pools of water in that space, and Cyro has spotted 2 frogs in one of them.
The large pool at the end of the cave is at the back, leading nowhere.
On further inspection (it’s dark in here!) you do see at the far end a passage leading to the left. It is not blocked by the large pool at the back but you’d have to walk very close to that pool’s edge to access that passage.
You can skirt this closer pool that has the 2 frogs hiding and get to the bucket. It contains dead bats. Any who went there would now be standing pretty close to the large pool at the back.
"I wonder what these bats could be doing here kind of odd to just have them just lying around." Fro looks at the bats, then at the frogs. "Could these be here to feed the frogs?" He picks up the bucket and starts to gingerly make his way around the pool to the opening. "Keep that bow of your ready Faloniir"
As you set down the bucket and start to proceed past the pool, there are sudden ripples as two blue frog heads emerge from the water. One gives a croooaaaak. Two pairs of bulging eyes stare at you with strange cross-shaped pupils.
The bat splats onto the frog’s unmoving, broad face. The eyes blink at you. Then it briefly submerges, leaving the bat at the surface, and then gulps it down as its head rises back out of the water. It gives another crooooaaaak and then leaps out of the pool, landing wetly right next to Fro. The other frog observes this for a moment and then it too leaps out of the pool, next to Cyro. Right now it’s hard to tell if they’re acting threateningly or not. They do seem to be at least partly tamed and have some expectations from you…
Faloniir will say, "By all means, if they are as dangerous as you say that sounds like a good idea."
Cyro nocks an arrow and starts aiming at one of the frogs.

Cyro will attempt to see inside the bucket. Perception: 24
(OOC: I am hoping we don't need perception to look in a bucket.. lol Also, how large is this body of water, can we jump across)
Cyro does have a +3 in strength and athletics, which is strange.
And the bucket is 60 ft away, remember?

Dark vision from my racial traits!
I have a feeling if nobody sees what’s inside the bucket we’ll spend a day or two making perception checks on it until someone gets a Nat 20.

”As the bandits have been trying to tame the frogs, that is likely.”
Faloniir will nod and nock an arrow, "Ready when you are."

(OOC: I didn't set down the bucket, I wanted to take it with me). Can I throw a bat at the frog?
(Oh my mistake)
Make an animal handling check with advantage. I want to see if you’re able to pass as a trainer or a chump giving out free food!
Fro reaches into the bucket and pulls out a bat, tossing it to the frog. "Open up and say ahhhh."
Animal handling: 2-1 = 1.. (Uhoh)
I’ll do animal handling. Vex attempts the same that Fro did, animal handling: 12

That’s 10 plus 6 from my proficiency bonus and wisdom modifier.
