Your searches of the frogs nets you 48 copper pieces, 27 silver pieces, 13 gold pieces, 1 Ruby worth 50gp, 20 daggers, 3 short bows with 58 arrows in total.
Vyth finds 8 pounds of herbs and various plants and spices useful for alchemy.(Each pound could make one item per short rest)
As the sun settles over the trees and darkness takes hold of the jungle you begin to hear the various night animals and insects come out. You hear the various chirps and roars throughout the night.
The first watch goes without incident as the second watch takes over. A few hours into the watch Kvothe hears the telltale signs of Grungs croaking from all around them.
You don't notice any and you keep a watchful eye but after an hour the sounds die down and the normal jungle sounds return.
Third watch is boring and you wish it would end so you can begin your day. Three hours into the watch heavy rains come down from the sky waking everyone up and filling the two rain catchers.
Panwan curses as her gets off the ground and looks around. "Rise and shine everyone, first light should be here in an hour. We might as well get a jump on the day."
Panwan pulls out his milky orb and utters a word in Abyssal as an arrow appears within the orb pointing towards the other side of the ravine. Nodding, he puts it away and looks at each one in the group.
"We need to be careful today. Thus is Grung territory. They don't like people entering it so keep on your guard. By the end of the day we should be out if it. There is another ravine we will have to cross but that one is massive compared to this." He says pointing to the small ravine. "At least that one has a normal bridge to cross. Gather your things and grab something to eat. We leave within the hour"
Kvothe climbs down from his hammock, stretches and yawns. He packs up his hammock, drinks some water, eats his rations, reapplies his insect repellent and checks his weapons.
"On that matter, is there some other route back? With the rope bridge destroyed, it will be quite difficult to cross this ravine on the way back. With ingenuity and my spells, I'm sure we'd be able to do so, but it would take hours. Hours that those waiting on this side of the ravine would be exposed to grung attack and cut off from the rest of the party." Ezio says as he finishes applying his insect repellant, drinking/refilling his canteens, and casting Prestidigitation on his jacket to keep it cool.
When party order is decided, he will fall in next to Yellow saying, "From what I saw of yesterday's battle, it was a close thing for you. I'm glad you pulled through, it'd be a shame to lose such pleasant company," with a roguish smile. Whether he's being mocking or sincere is hard to tell, but, having spent any amount of time with him, it's safe to say both.
Ezio will sufferingly agree to prestidigitate anyone's clothing/armor that wishes to stay cool. It lasts an hour and he will continue to refresh when necessary/convenient.

"I can get us back a different route. This was the most direct way to our goal and the route the patrol took. It will take us two extra days coming home but it won't be a problem." Panwan says as he sips his water skin.
"By the way, don't touch the frogs their skin is poisonous."
OOC: I know you said you chucked the bodies in the ravine. I'll let it slide this time since I'm at work. We'll just say you made your saves.
Everyone hit the long rest button on your sheets so your healed and get everything back. Whose taking any of the Grung loot?
Kvothe looks up when he hears Panwan said that frog's skin is poisonous. He turns to Panwan and says "when this lot's ready to leave I'll walk beside you".
"Well if your tracking and perception skills are anything like your intelligence during combat, I'd rather you not. " Panwan says as small flames flicker in his eyes.
"OK" Kvothe grunts and walks to the back of the party. Bringing up the rear he constantly turns his head to make sure nothing is sneaking up on them. He also is constantly scanning both sides, where he is placing his feet and the trees and skies above, looking for anything out of the ordinary.
When Vyth returns from his scavenging and foraging he'll tell the party Hey guyssss, there are 15 daggerssss and 2 sssshortbowssss over there on the grungssss....
Vyth will then pull out his alchemy kit and while the first watch is going on he'll make 2 vials of acid
Krav packs up and makes his way to the middle of the group as they travel. After their encounter yesterday, he is slightly on edge, and glances into the woods every now and then.
Yellow gives Ezio a few sideways glances as he stands, watching her check over the body of the yellow grung. As she steps over to the red, Yellow looks into the jungle and sees Vyth searching what's left of the grungs among the trees. Finishing her investigation of the red, she turns to Ezio, matching his coy grin. "Hold out your hands, Elf," she purrs. As he abliges, she drops the coin into them. He opens his mouth to say something, but she cuts across him, "I have no need for gold." She deliberately looks at him from head to foot. "And you look like someone with expensive tastes." She pivots and begins pulling the red toward the ravine.
"Let me help you," Ezio says, bending down beside her.
She looks at him again out of the side of her eye.
Before sleeping, she spends about 10 minutes playing with her dagger.
OOC: The next morning ...
Yellow awakens, eats, drinks and applies salve. Getting ready a little more quickly than others, she watches as they get ready to leave — a kind of mothering look over everyone, but especially Vyth. When he expresses concern about the frogs' poison, she grins. "The mighty hunter doesn't know grungs are poisonous?" she asks. "I'd think you'd be familiar with all of Ubtao's creations." She sees him about to defend himself, and she says, "Don't worry, young one. You would already have felt the effects if you had been poisoned."
After Kvothe's rebuff by Panwan, which causes Yellow to growl quietly, she takes the middle of the pack. Ezio falls in step with her. "From what I saw of yesterday's battle, it was a close thing for you. I'm glad you pulled through, it'd be a shame to lose such pleasant company," he says with a roguish smile.
"I would gladly give my life for this cause," she says cooly, not looking at him. "Chult is my home and my heart." She finally looks at the Elf, her face open. "Where is your home and heart, Ezio?"
Kaslo wakes up early and performs his morning prayers. Afterwards he puts his armor back on (he took it off last night to try and dry out) and eats some food. Once fed and watered, he applies more insect repellent.
Looking back to the ravine he fell down and grunts, "More ravines to cross today eh?"
"My home is nothing but dust and vague memory now, 400 years will do that," he replies with an enigmatic smile. "My heart well,...it's right here." With a low incantation in flowing Sylvan he opens his hand, revealing a heart shaped trinket which he tosses to the tabaxi. Before she can catch it, it bursts into a shower of purple motes light and Ezio laughs.
You finish a quick breakfast and clean up your camp in record time as Panwan consults the map. When it is time he enters the forest where the Grungwase and begins to scan the ground and nearby brush, satisfied he heads off in a direction away from the ravine. You can tell the day is going to be another hot one.
As the day goes on you head deeper into the jungle, at times the vines and brush are just to thick and you needed to backtrack to find a way around them. Throughout the day you hear the sounds of the Grung. It is a constant reminder that you are in their territory everytime you hear a loud croak nearby. Panwan stays silent the whole morning continuously checking the ground for tracks or any signs that he seems to be looking for.
About midafternoon you come across a clearing in the woods but Panwan sticks his hand out for you to stop. You can smell the sweet aroma of orchids and wildflowers all around you.
The clearing is about 2 feet ahead of Panwan when he stops you. It is a rather large clearing and it looks like someone spent a lot of time clearing out al the brush and vines. A lone tree stands in the middle of the 40-foot circular clearing. The bodies are positioned in all different spots within the clearing. The closest being a warrior wearing the plate armor which is only 8' into the clearing while the furthest is another one of the warriors about 35 feet away from the edge of the clearing from where you stand.
Inside the clearing are six bodies face down into the ground. Three of the bodies are wearing plate armor and you can clearly see massive dents and old dried up bloodstains on them.
One of the bodies has a longsword still grasped in his hand and from this angle, you can tell him to be an elf by his pointy ears.
The second warrior has a battleax by his side and a medium sized black colored shield that seems to soak in the sunlight. He has a full helmet on so you have no idea what race he is. The third warrior has a Greatsword laying by his side, one hand still touching it. They each have large backpacks strapped to their backs.
The fourth person in the group is an elven female wearing green robes with a large slash across the back of her. Dried blood has soaked through the robes. A book with strange symbols on the cover is near her right hand. An ivory colored wand is hanging from her belt. A small travelers pack lays next to her.
The fifth body is a female dressed in studded leather armor and in her hands is a beautifully crafted longbow a deep brownish color with symbols going up and down the upper and lower limbs. A quiver of 18 arrows is on the ground next to it. Strapped to her back is a shortsword.
The last body is laying on its back. You can tell it is a female because her clothes are shredded and you can see her naked flesh in spots. Her head looks almost severed from her body and lays at an awkward angle on the ground. Clutched in her hands is a golden symbol of a maze. She has a silver flail next to her body.
Natives of Chult know the symbol to be that of Ubtao. The Chultan's god.
Panwan looks over at the group. "What do you wish to do? This isn't the patrol but something terrible obviously happened to them."
Studying the scene, Kaslo furrows his brow. "Caution is advised friends. I sense foul play afoot. It seems an awfully good spot for an ambush, perhaps we should search the immediate surrounding area before we investigate the bodies?"
