Yellow leans into Panwan. "I think I was being too hasty before. I know we've only spent about a week with the dwarves, but I trust them, and Kalso at least doesn't appear to trust the tiefling. Do we dare escort him back to camp?"
Panwan shrugs. "What does it matter. If he has ill intent the Commander will take care of him."Panwan gets up from his spot he was resting. "Okay everyone lets move out. Enough of this chit chat."
Panwan leads you the rest of the day through the jungle, you heard Grung activity a few times but never saw any. As night draws close you find a nice little campsite and hunker down for the night. Eku tells everyone to rest and she will keep watch for the night. She transforms into her trueself and flies overhead, doing lazy circles around the camp watching all around.
The night goes by without any problems and you continue on your journey to Camp Vengeance. Panwan sets a grueling pace and there is no time for talking or sight seeing. You spend most of your time hacking through heavy brush and watching where you're walking, taking care to not get hurt.
At one point Panwan stops you and points out a large pit trap that has brush covering it. Inside are hundreds of small spikes coated with poison. He mentions it to be of Grung design. After that the rest of the day goes by without incident.
Day 2 of the third tenday
Approximately 11am
The next morning you can finally see the river and make your way towards it and catch some fresh fish for a change and eat well for breakfast before heading back out. It takes you a few hours but you can see Camp Vengeance in the distance. The guards greet you as you enter the gates and the Commander is there. He looks worse than the last time you saw him. It looks like he hasn't shaved in weeks. You can smell feces and sweat when you get near him. He is holding a bottle of wine in his hands and he looks to be swaying a little. Captain Firebeard is standing a good 10 feet away from the Commander as is Captain Salhana.
"I see you made it back in one piece Vindicator. Come tell me what happened." He turns and stumbles toward his tent not bothering to see if anyone follows.
The two captains look at each other and shrug. Salhana walks over to Yellow and puts her hand on her shoulder. "I'm glad you made it back Panwan. Despite what you think. I do like you."
Captain Firebeard gives out a hearty laugh and walks over to the group."Come, let us go eat and you can tell me your tales. Is the job done? Did the relic work?"
Yellow can't help but show a moment of surprise at Salhana's gesture. She composes herself and salutes. "Thank you, Captain. This journey has been very enlightening. Ubtao has shown me many things, and I feel I have grown in my devotion to him, to the Order, and to Chult. I still have a lot to learn, though, so I need strong warriors such as yourself to guide me. Thank you for your kindness." She turns and follows the group walking with Captain Firebeard, turning her head to continue talking with Salhana. "What is the status of the camp? Have there continued to be almost daily assaults? The Commander seems even more harried than he was when we left."
Solis introduces himself to Captain Firebeard and mentions the circumstances surrounding him joining the group and his part in clearing the cave and completing the mission. He includes how a cleric of their order, Lethandaar, died in the process. "He was a strange one, the short time I knew him, but he fought bravely. Do you have a quartermaster that can spare some supplies? I'm looking for a herbalism kit, so I can brew my own potions for this lot. Also have a mind to buy some "gifts" for the undead and dinosaurs around here. Figure holy water, acid, or alchemist fire would do well for that."
In response to Eku transforming: Dritat watches in awe as Eku transforms into this majestic beast. Having seen nothing like it before, she prays again to Horus thanking him for this opportunity, to travel and expierence all she has.
Drita will go with Krav to eat. Not really wanting to bring too much attention to herself. She applies her insect repellent and drinks plenty. As far as Khan is concerned, she noticed the party's skeptic outlook on accepting him in she will keep her distance for now
Drita will sit and watch the interactions of the rest of the party and Firebeard.
"Aye, we got the job done alright. Though it wasn't without it's loses, as the others have mentioned."
Kaslo waits for the Commander to be out of earshot and lowers his voice. "Captain, is everything alright with the Commander? He looks like he's seen better days"
Captain Firebeard clasps Solis on the shoulder. "Well met, If Panwan allowed you to tag alone you're fine in my book. Panwan is a odd one but a good judge in character. As for a quarter master. You can say I'm it but as for what you want. Go see Sister Cyas." He points you towards the medical tent. "Tell her I said to give you a herbalism kit for services rendered to the Order."
Salhana talks with Yellow as they make there way to the campfire for some daily grub. "The assasults have lessened a few days ago for some reason. We aren't sure why but Niles is in a bad spot right now. Another patrol left after you guys did and after a few days they reappeared outside the camp. Just their heads. With a note written in some language none of us understand. He sent out another group and a day later the same thing happened. "
Salhana looks over at Firebeard for a moment before continuing, "A Messanger came about 7 days after you guys left with a large satchel of papers from the head of the Order. Ever since that came he's been staying in his tent drinking nonstop. He won't tell us what was in those messages and won't confide in us. The camp morale is at an all time low. Today was the first time he left his tent in 4 days."
Salhana shakes her head and continues on in silence.
After the group has settled themselves into the camp, Kvothe wanders off to the camp armoury. When the Armourer comes out he says “I’m looking for help to build a pack I can wear on my chest”. He shrugs off his backpack, bandolier and leather duster and unfurls his wings. He says “I need to be able to fly and still carry a pack. Can you or one of your mates modify this so I can carry it on my chest but still get to these” he says pointing to his bandolier of darts.
Drita hears this from Salhana. She Approaches behind, the two and pokes her head between them, "Hi, I'm Drita. I overheard you had a note that couldn't be read? I know a couple out of the ordinary languages, may I try to decipher that note?" She is chipper and pokes past them and stands in front of Yellow and Salhana smiling.

"Drita is one of a few individuals we picked up on our journey," Yellow explains. "Chevall Lethandaar delivered her to us before we reached the pool. Lethandaar reported to us that he was the sole survivor of the party he was leading. Well, except for Eku. Then, we lost Lethandaar as well. We also picked up Solis," she said, indicating the aasimar, "and very recently, that tiefling named Kahn." Her gaze lingers on Ahk, but she says nothing further about him. "It is perhaps due to the success of the Vindicator that the undead attacks have lessened. It is concerning about the two parties, though."
He'll marvel at Eku, but keep quite as he's looking to finally get some much needed rest.
Ahkmenos makes sure to apply insect repellent and drink water after breakfast.
Upon hearing the dwarf asking for an account of himself Ahkmenos will be sure to share. My name is Ahkmenos Khan, I'm sorry I couldn't have been of more help to your compatriots. They ended up finding me in the jungle alone and helped me back here.
Solis looks at Yellow with a comical look of bewilderment when she gives Panwan all the credit for stopping the undead. He looks left and right at the other members of the party with his arms spread as if he's asking if anyone else can believe what's happening right now. However, he says nothing.
((Lol, as far as Solis knows, Panwan is just a guide and occasional healer. Panwan has literally done nothing in the two engagements he's been in with the group, including the fight against Blarb and co to cleanse the pool. By the way, Solis looks like a human, due to Disgusie Self.))
We may not have all come together to be at this Camp, but we all did come to Chult to try and find and stop the soul monger. We did this job for the Order and were promised information on our return. I would like to propose we all continue together once we have this information to try and defeat this curse together. I am sorry to hear about your patrols but we have our own mission we need to continue on.

Yellow gives Solis a coy look. "Were you prepared to perform the necessary ritual to prepare the vial?" She walks over and places a paw on his shoulder as she turns back to address Salhana once again. "It is true," she concedes, "that these warriors made it possible for Panwan to complete the task." She looks at Solis. "I did not mean to belittle anyone's involvement."

"Alright, we've wasted enough time on this matter. We can sort it out further at Camp Vengeance if need be."
Kaslo gives Krav a quick look and says in Dwarvish:
"Something about him still doesn't sit right with me. Best keep an eye on this horned devil."
Yellow narrows her eyes at Kaslo.

Earlier: Krav nodded, and replied in Dwarvish.
"Aye. He speaks strangely and acts strangely. I'll keep my sword close by."
Present:
Krav mutters something in Dwarvish after the Commander leaves.
"Smells worse than me, pah! And good thing I put on insect repellent!"
Krav lets the others respond to Captain Firebeard as they walk to go eat.
And that's all I have to say about that.
