The Grand Souk is a very busy place but you don't really notice any merchants that sell extravagant arms and armor. After asking a few people that tell you to seek out Ekene-Afa's merchants. He is the Merchant Prince that deals with weapons and shields. Merchant Prince Zhanthi deals with armor but nothing really heavier then leathers and hides. You also learned that Wakanga deals with potions and scrolls.
Drita will begin to try and find her way to Wakanga, deciding that she can always go shopping later. What a strange city with its' Merchant Princes, only selling somethings.
OOC: If there are people with her she says that out loud.
Kvothe says “I'm going to wander up to the Red Bazaar to see if I can find somebody to help me convert this (pointing to his backpack) to a front pack so I can wear it and fly." He finishes with "I'll see you at The Thundering Lizard at sundown”. He sets off for the Red Bazaar.

The Merchant princes have Merchants that sell their wares. But each Merchant Prince is in charge of different types of wares. Only Wakanga is allowed to sell potions and scrolls. But he has merchants that sell them in the red bazaar and Grand Souk etc...
Yellow would have told Krav she didn't require his company, and that he should feel free to partake in the games. "Be careful, friend. You may have defeated a water spirit single-handedly, but never underestimate a cunning Chultan or one of Ubtao's mighty creatures."
When the young Chultan man answers the door, Yellow shows him the Order's symbol she wears around her neck and says, "Chevall Yellow on the Sea." She motions to those with her. "And visitors to Chult who are currently aiding the Order of the Gauntlet in defeating the rising undead." She looks back at the man. "I have a letter for Princess Jessamine from the Order which I am to hand deliver."

"I have a letter for Princess Jessamine from the Order which I am to hand deliver."
The man looks you over once more and wrinkles his nose at the smell. "She has taken ill and doesn't want to see any visitors. I can deliver your note to her if you wish or you can leave it in the box." He points to a box next to the front door. "But I am sorry. I am not allowed to let you in. She will have my head. And if you know anything about her you know this to be true."
The man folds his arms and looks at you with a bored look on his face.
Drita will begin to try and find her way to Wakanga, deciding that she can always go shopping later. What a strange city with its' Merchant Princes, only selling somethings.
You find his shop easily enough after asking around and as you enter there is a tall Chultan man in the shop sitting behind the counter. He stands up and gives you a slight bow. "Good afternoon mistress, " he says in a deep southern drawl accent." how may I help you today? Welcome to Wakanga's Wonderous Goods. I deal with potions and scrolls of every class. I am the only place in Chult where you can purchase these items. What are you in the mood for?"
Krav makes his way to the Grand Coliseum and it is close to noon time now and you hear the crowd cheering inside. As you enter the arena you notice two gladiators fighting on the sands. One is a tall Chultan man weilding a large two handed sword while the other looks to be from across the sea. He is much shorter and his skin is as white as a clam shell. He is holding two daggers in his hand and it looks like he is winning the fight with ease.
The larger man has many cuts across his chest and arms while the shorter has none. The crowd oohs and ahhs whenever the smaller man lashes out with his dagger and cuts the man. You can tell that the smaller man is toying with the Chultan. You watch for a few minutes until finally the smaller man has had enough and leaps up and does a flip over the mans body and stabs both daggers into his back. Knocking him to the ground instantly.
The crowd erupts in applause as a robed man walks out and says a prayer to Ubtao. His hands begin to glow and you notice the soft warm light of healing go into the larger man. He blinks his eyes and sits up and the crowd goes crazy. As he stands the smaller man bows to his opponent and walks out of the arena followed by the larger man.
"And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. And you ladies say Size matters." The crowd erupts in laughter at the pun. "For your viewing pleasure, we have plenty more matches for the day. Next match will be starting in 15 minutes. It will be your local favorite Jable vs an Allosaurus that was recently caught within our walls and killed the local silk merchants daughter. he demands justice and Jable is answering the call."
The crowd begins to chant Jable's name as they applaud.
"We are still accepting signups if you wish. See Dengo by the southern gate."the man says to the crowd.
Having finished his business in the Red Bazaar, Kvothe makes his way towards the Grand Coliseum thinking to himself "lets see how good these local fighters really are."He arrives and manages to get a seat (fairly close to the front) just as the Jable vs Allosaurus match is about to start.
Yellow bows slightly again toward the man. "I beg your forgiveness — and your lady's — but this is official Order of the Gauntlet business. It is imperative that the princess receive this letter immediately. As I'm sure you know, Camp Vengeance is making a stand against the undead menace down river. While we have made some headway, we need the princess's help in order to continue. I assure you, I do not want to make trouble. If you will escort me to your lady, I will deliver the letter, await any reply she may have, and then be on my way."
"Thank you, I am looking for someone, or maybe a spell that can translate this note." Drita pulls the note out of her pocket. "It is written in grung."

The man sighs once again and is beginning to look annoyed. "I don't give a rats ass about your Order. They have no jurisdiction in Chult or in Port Nyanzaru. Princess Jessamine is one of the ruling leaders of this town. And when I say she does not want to see you, that means she does not want to see you. She is very ill and is not seeing any visitors at this time. It's obvious you do not know the head of assassins like you think you do or you wouldn't be bothering me like this."
The man turns and walks back into the villa and closes the door. As the door is closing he says over his shoulder. "Drop your letter in the box. Good day."
"Thank you, I am looking for someone, or maybe a spell that can translate this note." Drita pulls the note out of her pocket. "It is written in grung."
"Grung did you say?" Wakanga reaches out for the note. "May I?" He puts on a pair of glasses and looks the note over and frowns."I did not think the Grung had a written language. Very interesting indeed."
Wakanga puts the note down and walks around the counter. "I have just the thing." He says as he walks to one of the aisles filled with various parchments locked behind a glass door. He takes a key from under his shirt that is on a necklace and opens the lock and begins looking through the parchments. After a few moments, he smiles. "Here it is," he says as he locks the door and heads back behind the counter.
"Comprehend languages. For the duration, you understand the literal meaning of any spoken language that you hear. You also understand any written language that you see, but you must be touching the surface on which the words are written. It takes about 1 minute to read one page of text and the spell will last for one hour. I can part with this spell for the small sum of 78 gold pieces."
"Looks like fun,"Krav mutters as he walks to the southern gate, looking for this Dengo.
You find Dengo with ease. He is a short squat Chultan man with some kind of leafy rolled tobacco stuck in his mouth. He has a shaved head and is wearing a bright orange silken robe. He sits at a desk and is writing something on a clipboard in front of him as he is talking to a young Chultan woman. After about a minute the young woman leaves.
Dengo looks up and notices you for the first time. His nose wrinkles at the smell and he frowns for a second before smiling. "Ah, Welcome friend. You care to fight in the pits yes? Show your strength of muscle and impress the ladies yes?"
He gets up and walks around you, studying you. He grabs your arm and squeezes your muscle, pokes you in the chest with his finger and feels your shoulders before sitting down again.
"Very sturdy yes? But very dirty. Did you ever think of washing yes? Might help with the ladies. It won't do having you look like that yes? I tell you what. You want to fight yes? You sign this form and We give you a bath first yes? We wouldn't want other fighters to complain you make them dirty yes? Unless you wish to fight a beast yes? Lots of money fighting beasts, if you live of course yes?"
"Well that certainly seems helpful, would you happen to have a second scroll? I would love to take a second just in case. Would you be willing to part with them both for 130GP total? It would be a big help you see. This note was found in my campsite along with several of my fellow companions who are no longer with us and one who has gone missing." Drita begins to well up as she starts to talk to about her party. "He's lost in that jungle, probably snatched up by those vile beasts. I need to save him and this would be a big help."

"That's a touching story and I sure hope you find your friend. I tell you what. Since you have such a sad sob story that I have never heard before. "He rolls his eyes as he says that, " I can do it for 130 gold, just for you. But don't tell anyone. Any other potions or scrolls you wish to look for? I have every spell, divine, arcane, sorcerous in nature, from the first rank to the 2nd and 3rd ranks. And I deal with lots of potions as well. Maybe some healing since the Jungle is so dangerous and you know better than anyone since half your party is gone."

Krav nods in response to Eku.
"I hadn't thought of that. That sounds like a good idea! Which way is this Games place?"
After that, he turns to the others.
"I think I will go, uh, see what these games are all about. Unless you think you'll need help, Yellow?"
And that's all I have to say about that.
