how many pirates are on in this cave or on the ships? Are any guarding the prisoners? Where is the key to unlock their cell?
The pirate sneers at Taggart and spits at the ground near his feet. "43. There are 43 pirates here and they are going to kill you. Did you go look at the cell? I don't think any of us can stand on water and guard a cell, do you? As for where the key is." The Pirate shrugs
Krav scowls. He stands on the bar table, which creaks in protest as Krav grabs the pirate by the shirtcollar and hoisting him up in the air, chair and all. He glares at the pirate.

"This isn't a game. Tell us anything you know."
The pirate begins to laugh at Krav and doesn't stop for a good minute. "I'm not afraid of you. Kill me already so I can come back and haunt you."
Meanwhile
Kvothe picks the lock of the musicians but they continue to play without missing a beat. They have looks of terror on their faces.
"Well, you're brave, or your captain is just that scary. Doesn't matter."
He lets go of the pirate, hopping off the bar table as the pirate's chair crashes to the ground, its passenger grunting in pain.
Krav looks for a clean-ish rag or the like behind the bar. If he finds one, he wipes his forehead, sweat and blood covering the cloth as he tosses it on the bartender's corpse.
Kvothe turns to the party and says “all right cobbers, this guy ain’t gunna talk, so what we gunna do about freeing the prisoners, capturing us some pirate captains, and getting back to Port Nyanzaru and getting on with the real reason most of us non-locals are here in Chult?”
Yellow watches the musicians with concerned eyes as she speaks, "If the other prisoners are just as unwilling to act on their own accord as these, even after being freed, taking the time to release the other prisoners may be a wasted and dangerous effort. We should, I think, set our sights on capturing or destroying as many more pirates as we can first in preparation for the inevitable return of the third ship." The tabaxi looks at Kvothe briefly, but then addresses Krav. "There may still be some in the caves at the bend in the walkway from where the four we just encountered upstairs emerged. From what I can see, our next target after that should be the ship inside the cave. Then, somehow, the ship outside."
“ I reckon we try and take’em from both sides” says Kvothe. “What say I fly across to the other walkway and you” he says looking at Krav “charge across the bridge - when they come out to confront you I hit the buggers from behind”
Kvothe turns to Taggart and says “It’d take too long to fly somebody else across but if you levitate I could push you across and you can provide air cover, and I would land.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Yellow nods and heads upstairs to creep down the walkway toward the cave sleeping quarters. She moves out of sight from the boat and as stealthily as possible.

Krav grins as he wipes his sword on the clothes of a dead pirate.
"43? That's...6 for each of us? Sounds like a fun time."
He turns towards Yellow, looking only a little more serious.
"But what should we do with those ones?" he asks, pointing at the slave musicians.
And that's all I have to say about that.
"Do we have a key? Or a way to release them?"
The Pirate spits at Yellow. "Figure it out yerself cat."

Weloh hops around the tavern croaking. He looks antsy and like he wants to continue on, before more pirates come to the bar.
