"I told the Commander you wouldn't do it. You've been becoming soft Yellow." Salhana says, "Take her to the commander's tent. Undril go report the job is done. And bring that thing." She says as she points to Vyth.
Undril salutes Captain Salhana." Yes captain, At once."
Captain Salhana walks over to the fire and says to the group. "Taggart, Krav is it? Report to the commander's tent, please. It is time to discuss your future here or anywhere for that matter."
Krav's eyes had already widened at the sight of Vyth's "punishment," but now they widen even further.
"Oh? Um, alright, then!" he says, setting down his meal and patting his side to make sure his axe hasn't shifted from its place on his belt. It hasn't, so he surreptitiously wipes his greasy hands on his pants (not changing their gray-brown color in the slightest) and makes his way to the tent.
The stench of rotting flesh and decay is overpowering as you make your way to Commander Breakbones command tent.
The heavy smell of lilacs and violet assault your senses as you enter the command tent. It's such a sharp contrast to the smell of death outside and you are momentarily stunned by it. Commander Niles Breakbone is sitting at a table looking at a large map of Chult. You notice skulls and crossbones marked at various locations on the map as well as the location of Camp Vengeance and Port Nyanzaru.
There are two other locations marked on the map. A place called Mbala which is a four-day journey to the south-west and the other is Orolunga which is a ten-day journey to the west. You also notice lines drawn on the map and one of them looks familiar. It is the path the last patrol had taken when it went into the jungle. The path leads south to the Aldani Basin.
Commander Breakbone stands up to his full 6'4" height. His once muscular body is starting to get flabby but his arms are still strong and powerful looking. His meaty hand combs through his graying hair, that is kept very short. Dark circles can be seen under his obsidian-colored eyes. It looks as though he hasn't slept in weeks. He is wearing a silk electric blue colored robe with a golden colored rope holding it closed at the waist. His golden pendant can be seen around his neck and his commander badge is pinned to his robe.
Yellow is standing in the corner with Undril next to her. Vyth is laying on the ground by Undril's feet still unconscious and missing his left hand. A man you have not seen before is sitting at the table. You can tell he is a tall man even while he is sitting. His green and tan robes cover his whole body and he is rolling a milky white orb on the table between his two hands. He head is clean shaven and he has a small goatee growing. You see an ivory wand on the table in front of him. You can tell he is Chultan. Eku sits across from the man.
Commander Breakbone speaks. "Please, can everyone sit down, not you Yellow or Undril." The Commander points to the man sitting at the table. "That is Panwan, your new guide for this upcoming mission of grave importance. I have spoken it over with Eku and she agrees with me." Eku nods to the group. "But first, we have a few things to discuss."
The Commander nods to Captain Salhana. She walks over to Vyth and kicks him in the ribs. Vyth wakes up with a start. Satisfied she stands next to Vyth with her Greataxe in her hands, watching him.
"This lizard creature, Vyth, has been charged and convicted as a thief. As far as the Order is concerned, he paid for his crimes and he is a free man. Whether you want him to travel with you or not is another story. You need to decide that. Shall he travel with you and you let bygones be bygones or do we send him out to the jungle to fend for himself? I need an answer now."
"This lizardman has dishonoured my dead companions," Krav growls, scowling at Vyth from near the doorway, having not yet sit down.
"For that alone I would not want to travel with him. But he also sneaks among our items, seeing if anything looks good to take. Can we trust him with us, to fight by our side when the time comes? Or will we find that he abandons us, saying 'fitting for them to die!'"
Ezio takes a seat, looks at the lizardfolk, and notices his missing appendage, "I, for one, would prefer he travel with us. Despite his...eccentrics...he proved a capable traveling companion during our adventures together. He fought bravely then and has continued to do so since in defense of this camp. More than a few of this camp's residents have escaped harm because of his efforts, myself included. Even maimed I'm sure he'll be a great asset to have on hand."
Taggart furrows his brow as he is in deep thought. “The punishment is done, no going back now. To send him into the jungle seems like condemning him to death. I’m willing to let him travel with us on this mission if he is still willing. Vyth, you game to take out some aggression on the challenges of the jungles of Chult?”

It is true his actions upon your arrival were ill advised, but if he was a much of a threat to his allies as some of you seem to think, I would have slain him myself already." Ezio says matter of factly. "No matter, I am fine with the majority decision on this point, but not all of this presumed party has spoken." He looks pointedly at Thor and Yellow as he says the last words.
I don't really expect Thor to have a say unless his player comes online, I just said that for continuity.

Consider Thor to not be here. He got sent to the infirmy to help Sister Cyas. I don't think he is coming back but if he does I can't just have him hanging around on autopilot

Commander Breakbone looks down at Vyth for the first time and you can see a fire in his eyes. "I hope you do not sit here and threaten me Mr. Vyth. That would be very unwise for a person in your predicament. Normally for the crime, you have committed you would have been maimed and cast out into the jungle to fend for yourself. But since you did help us in defense of the Camp I spared your fate. But if you wish for me to give you the full penalty I would be more than happy to cast you out to the jungle?"

"I am Judgement here in this Jungle, Lizard. Don't tempt me." Breakbone says as he looks over to Salhana and frowns.
I have done all that I can for the order and even when I help they torment me like they do their own god....
Commander Breakbone walks over to Vyth and backhands him across the face making him feel dizzy as blood trickles from his lip. "I warn you one last time Lizard, Watch your tongue before you lose it. We are faithful to Mighty Torm and I will not tolerate your blasphemy.
Commander Breakbone goes back to his chair and sits down as he looks at Yellow. "Chevall, I am sorry this has happened and I blame myself for your predicament. I thought it be a fitting punishment for Vyth and I also thought it would provide the proof of your commitment to the Order. You are a good soldier and a damn good fighter but your faith has been wavering it seems."
Commander Breakbones points to a chair across from him. "Sit Chevall, Please. "
"Captain Salhana seems to be a little zealous in her punishment towards you. For whatever reason, she does not like you. I am going to put a formal reprimand in your file but that is it. You are a valued member of the Order and I will not lose you because you did not want to punish a comrade and chop off his hand. I understand the apprehension for the task but listen to me carefully. This won't happen again. Do I make myself clear?"
Kaslo lets out a sigh. He looks at the lizard with a hard stare.
“So far, all you’ve said is that you’ve done nothing wrong, that we can trust you and we shouldn’t trust the Order. Yet you provide no real reason why we should be wary of these good people, and you certainly haven’t offered any form of an apology or peace offering for the way you treated me and the rest of my party.”

Krav will think of Vyth as a problem almost no matter what, I'm afraid, at least until Vyth's actions show him otherwise.
