Drita looks at Krav very seriously, "Well that depends on how much they are offering in a trade." She looks at Yellow and snickers. "Of course it would be a trick, we would have to keep up the lie though. I'm sure an all out brawl in there would not go over well for us."

"Yes, Krav," Yellow says. "A trick. But Drita is right. If we're going to collect the information we need, this could take a few days. It will be very hard working under great suspicion. And that's only if they buy it to begin with."
"We can't stand around here all day like we've got sticks up our arses" Kvothe says. "Lets move further into the jungle, get up on the cliff and then see what’s what and then plan. Going undercover could work but will be tricky – we’d need a prisoner, say Yellow or Klaus, and two guards, say Drita, Taggert, Solis or me, but my vote is on a recce party tonight say Taggert, Yellow and me” he continues. “’Nuff talking, time to move” he says moving carefully off into the jungle looking where he places his feet and for any tripwires, etc.
Yellow looks around at the others. "Well," she says with a bit of a shrug. "Let's go!" She follows behind Kvothe, wielding her shield and the black spear.
kvothe, Yellow and Taggart head out into the jungle and the brush and vines are really thick around these parts and you lose sight of the cliffs at one point because it was too difficult to go through so you had to go around, but after a little bit you found the cliffs again and continue onward. There doesn't seem to be any foot traffic around here and you don't notice much of any tracks come to think of it. You walk for almost an hour before the cliffs begin to turn towards what you think it the back of the cave complex and stop and look at the cliff wall. It seems easy enough to climb with all the vines and brush around.
Advantage on your Athletics check you need a dc 10 to climb the cliffs using vines and other various stuff.
Meanwhile
Krav, Kaslo, Drita, and Solis wait by the tree watching the fence area of the Camp. About a half hour after the other group left you see 2 pirates up on the watchtower talking and a man walks up to them and they give a half-ass salute to him. He slaps one of the pirates and says something to them but you are too far away to hear anything. After a few minutes of talking he walks away and you can tell the two pirates are making fun of him when his back is turned.
You can also hear people coming towards the gate from inside the complex. The gate swings open and for the briefest of seconds, you do notice what you would consider a prison across the bay. (room 5) Inside this prison are eleven people. 7 men dressed in ragged looking loincloths and 4 naked females huddled together in the corner. It is s far away from you though you're not really sure what is happening in there before the gate closes.
Eight pirates walk outside the encampment and head down the trail past you. Each pirate is wearing leather armor and has a scimitar hanging from their belts. They are all carrying light crossbows in their hands. One of the men has a golden hoop hanging from his nose and the others are wearing various golden jewelry on their ears, necks, and fingers.
"I don't know why we got stuck doing this. You'd think Laskilarwould show a little backbone and make the other group do this." One pirate says angrily.
"Aye, this is bullshit if you ask me." One of the pirates says as they walk past you heading south down the trail.
Drita looks at the others, "We may be able to take them out and use their clothes as a costumes to get inside.?" She silently awaits an answer from the other 3.

You guys make it up the cliff face without any problems but you have a poor view of the surrounding area because, after about 20 feet, trees and brush cover everything. You can see behind you and from this height you notice cliffs rising up in all different locations.
You make your way to what you think is the front of the cave complex and after cutting through the brush and vines you get to the clearing and notice there is no water around anywhere. You must be lost.
"Well I'll be buggered!" Kvothe says as he takes his hat off and wipes his brow and takes a drink from his water skin. "We need to go back the way we came" Kvothe says as he turns and follows the path that they hacked through the jungle back to where they ascended the cliff.
Survival Roll to see if Kvothe can find their way back. 20
Before you leave the heavy brush filled plateau you decide to give it one more go around and come across a wooden plank that crosses a 10' gap between two cliffs.
You dash across the plank and you finally make it out of the heavy brush and you come to the edge of the cliff. You see water all down below and a boat docked in the bay.
You see a pirate in the crows nest and another 8 pirates lounging on the deck of the boat. There is a cabin and through the porthole you barely see two people inside moving around.
You realize you made it above the sea cave where the pirates are hidden but you have no vantage point to see inside the cave.
If there is a way into the cave from up here it would be hidden somewhere in the heavy brush you just traveled through.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Well that's that"Kvothe says. He turns and goes back into the heavy brush and starts searching to see if there is some sort of path or hidden entrance into the Pirate stronghold. Whilst he is particularly looking for a fissure in the rock that might conceal an entrance and/or has been widened or an area which appears to be more heavily trafficked than normal, he is not just bashing through the bush but is trying to also be quiet in his searching.

OOC: can we determine which boats are in the bay?
Kaslo shakes his head and whispers "There's 2 of them for 1 of us. I don't fancy those odds. Seems like an unnecessary risk. We could try to follow them a short ways, see what they're up to however. That too is also a risk I realize."

Krav frowns.
"But it would be a trick, right?" he asks.
"We aren't going to let the pirates actually capture you, Yellow. Right?" he asks the others, looking especially at Kvothe and Drita.
And that's all I have to say about that.
