As the voices get closer they stop suddenly as four figures step out of the jungle, near Vart but they don't notice him or just ignore him. You're not sure.
The lead person raises her hand and waves. Her long green robes, almost blending in with the jungle, go down to the ground covering her completely. A scimitar is hanging from her belt and it looks like it's been used recently as you notice blood stains on her robe where the scimitar rests against it. A short bow is hanging off her shoulder and her long red hair curls down her back covering a backpack. A wicked looking wavy dagger is hanging on the other side of her belt.
There are two men with her similarly dressed that stand five feet behind her. The last person wears long red robes covering their body from head to toe with the hood pulled up blocking their features. You can't tell if it's male or female. You see no weapons or backpack on it.
"Greetings travelers, sorry to startle you. We are weary explorers lost in the jungle low on food and water. Any chance you can spare some?"
They stay close to the edge of the jungle, not coming any closer to your camp. They are about 20' away, almost at the edge of Tap's lantern light.
Greggor addresses the group of strangers:
"You travel late. Food, ve haf much to spare. Vater, ve haf some. Dho Greggor vould see de faces of dhos dat vould dine vit us."
Greggor is now standing, leaning with his back against a tree, his weapons nearby on the ground. If the newcommers are agressive, he will be able to go for a weapon quickly. Though Greggor thinks it unlikely that a hostile would approach and announce their presence.
After Zee responds back in the same beautiful language to Zachariah, the Aasimar slowly lowers his hammer. Catching the eye of the leader, his voice changes to that of a challenge. He utters a string of sharp, dissonant words in another language aimed at the woman.

Kaslo casts Light on his shield and scans the area around them, trying to see if there are other members of this group that are remaining in the shadows.

"Welcome weary travelers. Please come closer into the light so that we may better see who you are"
Thor shuffles awake and grabs his hammer and shield. He listens as the others converse, moving close to Tap, but about 10' away from him on the opposite side of the group. (creating like a triangle between himself, Tap and this new group in front of us.)

Greggor addresses the group of strangers: "You travel late. Food, ve haf much to spare. Vater, ve haf some. Dho Greggor vould see de faces of dhos dat vould dine vit us."
The woman smiles. "I'm glad you can spare some food for us. We have been traveling for so long out here on foot and have gotten lost. We ran out of food yesterday and our water is almost depleted. As for our faces, I'm sure you can see them. I wear no hood as do my other two colleagues." She points to the red-robed one. "I do not think you would like to see under his hood. He is, let us say... Not human like myself."
Krav attempts to examine them for hostile intent.
At the moment their body language suggests to you nothing.
"Welcome weary travelers. Please come closer into the light so that we may better see who you are" Kaslo says as he gets closer to the group.
The group moves a step closer and the female smiles. "I thank you for your hospitality. It is rare to see that out here in the jungle. Usually, the jungle is a cruel mistress and doesn't let the weak and unprepared live to see another day."
After Zee responds back in the same beautiful language to Zachariah, the Aasimar slowly lowers his hammer. Catching the eye of the leader, his voice changes to that of a challenge. He utters a string of sharp, dissonant words in another language aimed at the woman. "Jbkbakbfdk nbkfgbsk skbgkb skngsll skbvnblwk vsvnsvnsoln"
The female hears Zachariah's challenge and grabs her dagger's hilt. You could swear you hear her hiss briefly before she responds to him in the same language. "Hdhbsjv sfhbgvrkgh vhsdbgrk sdkjvrkjg svjkbjrb vjbsdkbgv' She releases her dagger and smiles again as she holds up her hands. "We mean no harm. We are just weary travelers that have gotten lost. I understand if you do not wish to help us and we will be on our way. We will try and find food elsewhere."
Not taking his eyes off the strange woman, Zachariah against speaks in the beautiful unknown language. Some of those in the party hear Zee's name as part of it. The tall humanoid of pale blue skin and eyes then lifts his mighty hammer, propping it against one shoulder as he turns and walks back to his bedroll. He sits and watches the newcomers intently.
Zee responds to Zachariah as she continues to sit on her bedroll watching the strangers. Eku, exhausted, decides to go back to sleep. While Undril watches the exchange but doesn't interfere.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the party watches the exchange, Tap scans the jungle tree line making sure no one else was hidden there and that nothing else was following the group.
The leader looks around at the party and sighs. "I guess we will go look for food elsewhere. Thank you anyway. Be careful out in the jungle. It's very dangerous and who knows what is lurking close by."She turns to her companions and says something in that deep guttural language. "They aren't helping us. Let's go."
The group of people heads back into the jungle, after a few seconds the darkness of the jungle swallows them up.
Zee looks out in the direction the group left, shrugs her shoulders and goes back to sleep as does Undril.
The rain begins to come down harder putting out the fire in the firepit leaving the group in darkness, only the light from the lantern and light spell(Ends in an hour) illuminating the area.
"I will stay awake the rest of the night and help keep watch," Zachariah says to no one in particular. He opens his pack and pulls a small leather-bound book from within, turning a few pages and then reading.
Perception: 18
OOC: I'm going to assume that means Zachariah only receives the benefits of a short rest before tomorrow.
OOC2: And, perhaps he only THINKS he's going to stay up the rest of the night and he'll get a full rest. Up to you, I guess, DM.

With that perception of one, you'll be falling asleep and getting a full rest unless something happens of course. :-)

Who're these guys?
Krav shrugs.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Well where'd they come from? Are they friends of Zee, Undril, or Eku?
"I don't know," Krav whispers to Khan,
"but Zachariah doesn't seem happy."
And that's all I have to say about that.
Do they represent something against his god or oath?
