Thor approaches Zee, "You are a strong fighter. Not one I would have wanted to cross in the arena. I am a very happy to have you fight by our side."
Thor extends his hand to shake hers.
While Eating:
Thor acknowledges Zacharia's prayer but in his mind prays to Tempus, his amulet glowing. Hesitant to eat the pteradons but realizing he ate worse in his army days digs in, making sure to drink plenty of water. He splashes a little on his face as well. Then sets up his raincatcher and bed roll and gets ready for bed, saying a prayer to Tempus before sleeping.
You spend a relaxing time eating your dino burgers as you bandage your wounds, sharpen your weapons and repair your armor as best you can. The sounds of the jungle can be heard over the light rain coming down and you never realized how loud the jungle is at night until tonight. The insects are buzzing louder now than before because of the blood on the beach and the bodies of the pteranodons that you disposed of in the river.
It is a dark night tonight, the moon is barely visible through the trees and clouds in the sky and it's hard to see more than 60' away from the firelight coming from the firepit. The temperature is still high and uncomfortable even at night and you can feel the sweat dripping down your back as you prepare your bedrolls for the night.
Vart, Tap and Elvoril spend the first few hours of the watch having small talk and scanning the river and jungle for any signs of danger. In the distance, you can hear a mighty roar that you've heard in the past. You figure it to be from the king of the jungle, A tyrannosaurus, hunting some poor creature for its daily source of protein. With all the various sounds around you, it's hard to focus on any one thing but you do hear something faint coming from the jungle and heading your way. With the poor lighting and the dense foliage, you can't see anything but you think you hear people talking about 40' into the jungle and heading in your direction.

Vart says to the party "ssh - let me see if I can understand what they are saying". He then moves about 10-15 feet away from the party to see if he can understand what is being said.

Vart's Stealth role 16
As Vart moves closer to the sounds of the voice he slips into the edge of the jungle, hiding in the dense thicket of trees. He strains to hear the conversation but does not recognize the language it is spoken in. Without any light source, you cannot see into the jungle to try and spy on what is talking.
After helping Elvoril wake the others, Tap lights his hooded lantern and moves to the edge of the firelight with his crossbow until he can see Vart in its dim light. He looks towards Varts position, but doesn't move any closer until more of the party has roused themselves and joins him.

Zachariah takes up his warhammer, leaving his shield behind. He stands within the campsite between the fire and where the voices were coming from, waiting to takes cues from the others. In the meantime, he peers into the jungle with his darkvision, trying to ignore the dancing shadows.
As the voices get closer they stop suddenly as four figures step out of the jungle, near Vart but they don't notice him or just ignore him. You're not sure.
The lead person raises her hand and waves. Her long green robes, almost blending in with the jungle, go down to the ground covering her completely. A scimitar is hanging from her belt and it looks like it's been used recently as you notice blood stains on her robe where the scimitar rests against it. A short bow is hanging off her shoulder and her long red hair curls down her back covering a backpack. A wicked looking wavy dagger is hanging on the other side of her belt.
There are two men with her similarly dressed that stand five feet behind her. The last person wears long red robes covering their body from head to toe with the hood pulled up blocking their features. You can't tell if it's male or female. You see no weapons or backpack on it.
"Greetings travelers, sorry to startle you. We are weary explorers lost in the jungle low on food and water. Any chance you can spare some?"
They stay close to the edge of the jungle, not coming any closer to your camp. They are about 20' away, almost at the edge of Tap's lantern light.
OOC I assume that Vart is now roughly parallel but about 10-15 feet away from the "last person (red robes)". The next two are five feet closer to the party and leader (female) is five feet closer again. Have I got that right?

Vart is directly behind the last person about 5 feet diagonal from it. The 2 men are a few feet in front of red robe and the lady is 5 feet from them so about 13 feet from you and about 20 feet from the closest party member. You and the new arrivals are all within the 30' of dim light from Tap's lantern. I'll throw up a map latter when I get a chance if I have to.
As the strangers step into the lamp light, Zachariah raises his hammer over his shoulder with both hands ready to strike and glances toward both Eku and Zee to see how they are reacting to the newcomers.
OOC: Tell me that in the PM.
Looking back at the robed figures, Zachariah speaks again in that beautiful language he and Zee shared before loud enough for her to hear him, but no louder. His tone is stern and wary.
OOC: I'm not sure how close to him she is. Not sure where everyone is, but if it's possible he speaks low enough so the strangers can't hear him, that's what he'd prefer. Check your PMs.
