Casey gets a 9 perception. “Death.. thank ye!” She manages to say, and after traveling. looks around a bit confused as to where she is, floating invisible over the leader.
Storm crouches down and then springs himself into the air, about 15 feet up into the air, he then moves 30 feet to be right above the Syndicate leader before descending again to put him right above the man.
OOC: Using up to 60 feet of flight to move up, over and down again, thus only provoking AoO from those next to Storm when he initially moves up. Also he is now adjacent to the Leader.
“Where am I… what… death? Oh wait- there’s Storm! I’m here.. how’d I gets here?” Casey thinks to herself, spinning a bit while floating above the syndicate leader on her invisible broomstick
OOC: Ok, @DM, this is the move we have been setting up by not attacking so far. Hopefully it works. Also, I think Storm needs 2 more DC10 CON Saves to maintain concentration on Bless.
IC: Aino uses her Broom of Flying to fly up 10', over 30' above the Syndicate Leader and next to Storm, above the Syndicate Leader. Taking any of their AoOs if any of them have reactions left to use. Perfect that his guards made a ring around him, she thinks grimly.
She considers holding her action until Casey is close enough, but decides she wants to be able to react with a Counterspell if necessary and holding would use her reaction. So no holding. Casey, now Misty Step in, Aino sends telepathically to her friend through Rary's Telepathic Bond.
Aino casts and concentrates on Wall of Force, the spherical option, resting on the ground, centered 5-10' above the Syndicate Leader's feet.
Up to 10' radius (20' diameter at the fat part), but she makes it smaller than that. With the sphere resting on the ground, the bottom part is narrow. She makes it just big enough to include the Syndicate Leader and us above him. Excluding the ring of guards and anyone else on the ground.
The spell description says "If the wall cuts through a creature's space when it appears, the creature is pushed to one side of the wall (your choice which side)." So Aino will choose for the ring of guards to be on the outside. So no room for anyone but the Syndicate Leader at the bottom of the sphere, which is narrow. But in the fat part of the sphere 5-10' above the ground, there is room for Aino, Storm and soon Casey to all hover above in that fat part using their fly speeds. Lasts up to 10 minutes. Explicitly described as immune to Dispel Magic. Stretches into the Ethereal Plane as well.
The Wall of Force is "immune to all damage" and "nothing can physically pass through the wall." So it provides total cover against those outside the wall, so they can't target attacks or spells through the wall at us. However, teleportation spells (which tend to target self or whoever is being teleported) like Misty Step work to get through the wall (as for Casey) as long as there is room to arrive. See this Sage Advice post from Jeremy Crawford.
The Wall of Force is invisible so none of the enemies would know about it until they run into it, only knowing that Aino cast a spell. None of the party members are saying anything, using Rary's Telepathic Bond for communication.
Aino looks expressionlessly at the Syndicate Leader. She keeps her reaction ready for Counterspell (or Shield or Silvery Barbs).
Thumbtack takes the help against the Syndicate Leader, granting advantage to the next attack, using Flyby, back to Aino's shoulder.
Casey, hovering where she is above the Syndicate Leader, doesn’t even need to use Misty Step, and blasts the Syndicate leader 3 times with eldritch blast (first one is a straight roll, as she’s invisible, second two have disadvantage from her disorientation.. she then casts spiritual weapon (4th level) as a bonus action.
rolls eldritch blast (in log) 19+ 4 bless, 23 + 3 bless, and 27+1 to hit.
if all hit - total of 32 force damage, plus he’s hit by 3 blasts of force into the ground repelling blast eldritch invocation (dm rule on that one)
spiritual weapon: 24 plus 4 to hit, 14 force damage.
(I assume all those hit)
Casey suddenly appears to everyone in the crowd flying on her broomstick above the syndicate leader. She yells “me bandmate, Death is coming for you!” She blasts him with 3 beams of force, and her glowing , flying rapier stabs into him…
Casey you where 60 feet above SL at the end of your last turn so you would be outside of the wall of force. So you could not attack till you teleported inside. Or did I miss you getting in the wall somewhere in the post?
(Oh ok- I wasn’t clear where death sent me- if I was still 60’ up or had been moved closer down. So scratch the Spiritual weapon . She uses her BA to misty step into the wall of force. Everything else is the same. (She can fly 50’ plus 30’ misty step)
@KaylonBalderk: just wanted to make sure Bless is included in Storm's one attack above that missed.
@DM - I was going to ask whether there might not be any more room in the spherical Wall of Force because Aino would have made it as tight a squeeze as possible as described above with room for Casey at the top. But I guess it seems fair, since it's hard to have a sphere and not have a little empty space. Is it fair to say that now there's no more room left in the sphere, with SL and LT at the bottom, Aino and Storm in the middle, and Casey on top?
Aino considers whether to Counterspell the LT's spell but decides it's a minor enough effect that she won't.
The following are Aino's saves during the LT's Destructive Wave. This is NOT Aino's turn which will come after everyone's saves.
DC 17 CON Save, +11 and at advantage due to Robe of the Archmagi + 5 from Storm's Aura + Bless: 24 + 5 + 3 = 32 (success) (So Aino takes 8 necrotic damage).
DC10 CON Save to maintain concentration on Wall of Force, +16 due to bladesong: 20 + 5 + 3 = 28 (success)
I think we're waiting for the save against Destructive Wave for Casey. And then if nothing else happens with others outside the Wall of Force or with the stage, then it's back to Aino's turn? Can't wait to finally start making attacks.
I guess with 2 adjacent enemies, it will be Green Flame Blade instead of Booming Blade. Past 11th level, cantrips have scaled up again. Green Flame Blade will be 2d8 extra fire damage for primary target and 2d8+5 extra fire damage for adjacent target.
(I am posting as if the stage and the SMs outside the Wall of Force do nothing and it is Aino's turn now - I apologize if it is not!)
Aino says nothing and her face is expressionless. A businesswoman going to work. Just another day of the week that ends in "y".
Over Rary's Telepathic Bond she communicates: I am going after the elven LT first. I think he might be a paladin. Attack should damage both, though.
Thumbtack flies in the face of the LT, granting advantage and flies back to Aino's shoulder. She attacks the LT twice, the first time with advantage (3d20s due to Elven Accuracy) and Green Flame Blade with fire damage spilling over onto an adjacent target (Syndicate Leader).
Attack 1: (advantage, best of 3d20s, with Green Flame Blade) To hit LT: 28 + 1 from Bless = 29 Rapier, +3 on LT: 12 magical piercing damage Green Flame Blade on LT 2d8: 7 fire damage Green Flame Blade on Syndicate Leader 2d8+5: 12 fire damage as fire arcs to the SL (no saving throw)
Attack 2: (straight roll) To hit LT: 28 + 1 from Bless = 29 Rapier, +3 on LT: 11 magical piercing damage
Total Damage on LT: 12 + 7 + 11 = 30 (23 magical piercing and 7 fire) Total Damage on Syndicate Leader: 12 fire damage Total Overall Damage: 42
Casey gets a 9 perception. “Death.. thank ye!” She manages to say, and after traveling. looks around a bit confused as to where she is, floating invisible over the leader.
With a 9 you have disadvantage on all rolls for 1 turn.
Concentration Check: 16 without Bless added
Move action: Fly 30 feet
Action: Fly up to 30 feet
Storm crouches down and then springs himself into the air, about 15 feet up into the air, he then moves 30 feet to be right above the Syndicate leader before descending again to put him right above the man.
OOC: Using up to 60 feet of flight to move up, over and down again, thus only provoking AoO from those next to Storm when he initially moves up. Also he is now adjacent to the Leader.

Storm lands next to SL.
"Good now I've got you surrounded."
SL will attack.
Attack 1 : 22 to hit miss
Attack 2: 28 to hit 12 damage
He will then use an amulet charge to command allies to attack.
The 6 guards will turn and attack then turn back to form a Ring formation.
Wow only 1 hit with a 23 for 12 damage
Round 3 top of the order
Aino is up
OOC: Ok, @DM, this is the move we have been setting up by not attacking so far. Hopefully it works.
Also, I think Storm needs 2 more DC10 CON Saves to maintain concentration on Bless.

46 damage- casey puts up some decent numbers :)
could have been more if She still had hex up..

All good should have been clear. Your blasts hit
Great plan yall. There are no mages close enough to counter.
SL is up. He attacks Storm with his whip. Both attacks miss.
Storm is up.
Storm looks down upon the Syndicate Leader "Youre mine!"
Bonus Action: Vow of Enmity - Advantage of Attacks vs SL for the next minute
Attack 1: 16 Damage: 11 slashing + 12 Radiant
Attack 2: 28 Damage: 13 Slashing + 13 Radiant
1 hit 1 miss.
Even if you separate me from my Army you stand no chance.
He will use his second Legendary action to use his amulet and its 3rd charge and final charge to summon his strongest LT.
His Elvan LTappears in the bubble. Should be know more room on the bottom. He will then use his final legendary action to command ally.
The LT claps his hands casting Destructive Wave
DC 17 con save or 16 necrotic damage half on save
@KaylonBalderk: just wanted to make sure Bless is included in Storm's one attack above that missed.

Concentration from half damage: 18 total
@Tybard
Ya I made rhe wall there was enough room for 2 standing back to back. No more room for the other LTs is the plan
Sounds good.
