New adventure

it sounds like they have our employer and the map. they seem to be arguing about selling him to someone. sounds like we got here just in time...

i can’t tell if the boss is in the room but we haven’t found him anywhere else. if we hit them fast they may yet be caught unawares.

"Sounds good.  I'm ready.  Let's kick open the door and get our dwarf." Boghadair says.

“Johnson... check the door to see if it is unlocked.”

johnson steps aside and gets stealthy to make use of the inevitable distraction caused by our parties usual approach to room clearing.

Ian steps up to enter first.  With both daggers at the ready, he slowly opens the door to see how far the Hobgoblins are away.  As soon as he can see them, he sprints at the closest one and attacks.

Ian goes on attack with his magic daggers.

4th Attack: 11 Damage: 7

A stone brazier full of coals glows in the middle of this small barracks. Four straw pallets are lined up along the east wall. The wall to the south has collapsed, but a barred wooden door in that direction is still clear. A curtain hangs in an archway to the north.  Sitting at a card table are two Hobgoblin.  The one with his back to the door is attacked by Ian. Cut to pieces by the flurry of blades he falls on top of the table.  The other Hobgoblin bolts from the room to the north yelling for Krol to be ready for an attack.

initiative Boghadair, Johnson, arafiel, Thagakh, Tyrus 

johnson runs up to the curtain, still stealthy, and assesses the situation on the other side of the curtain before deciding what to do.

Thagakh's transformation last for 10 mins. Is it still up?

OOC:  Was there time to Fire off an arrow at the Hobgoblin making a run for it?  If so:

If not, then Boghadair follows the rest of the group as they make their way after the Hobgoblin, ready to fire an arrow at the first available target.

The arrow catches the shoulder of the Hobgoblin but he continues on to the other room.

Johnson pulls Gundren back through the curtain.  Gundren says, “ hello, have you been looking for me.”  Something about his calmness seems a bit off.  He then says, we should get out of here. He points to the door to the south.  It is metal reinforced .  “ hurry out that way before they get us”....

"For someone captured by goblins and bugbears for days, you seem too calm dwarf boss.

Thagakh asks, where did Thagakh went after beating you in trial of combat in Neverwinter?"

The half-orc observes his dwarf boss for any changes in his speech and body language that intend to mislead or deceive.
