OOC: Do we even know about that northern room existence? I do not see any door that could give us a reason to suspect a room in there.
"I see the question "how are you holding up" is unneeded. Still would feel better when I see you in the wagon - neither you, nor some of us now are in shape to fight for a while." Finna would follow Nemean in search for the mysterial room.
OOC: That's a fair point, its obvious looking at the top down map that there is an unexplored space there, but the adventures might not see it that way just walking through these hallways. Nemean will be satisfied if he belives they have fully explored the western wing of Wave Echo Cave, but if he believes (as I do) that there is an unexplored room to their north, his natural curiosity will drive him to check it out.

OOC: No worries! Finna is correct, the characters have not seen anything that would lead them to believe there is any more to see here on the west side of the cavern.
Where to next? Is the plan to head back to the wagon first, or explore more of the cave?
With Nundro following, you pass through the cavern with the dark pool, and despite the maze-like nature of the low dwarven tunnels that cluster the southwestern area of the mine, you eventually reach the rift at the newly discovered entrance to Wave Echo Cave undisturbed, and ascend the ropes that still hang there into the cavern where Tharden Rockseeker met his end.
"Never even saw the bastards," Nundro spits as you pass the brothers' mining equipment. "Had just enough time to see Tharden's look o' shock afore they knocked me out cold. One o' the drow could turn 'imself invisible. I think it was him what done it."
You exit through a narrow passage into the light of the afternoon sun. A short distance away, at the base of a foothill, Tochi keeps watch over your wagon and horses. He calls into the wagon, and a small green friend pops up excitedly in the driver's seat. "Masters! You are not dead! Droop was getting worried!" Droop calls out.
OOC: Be sure to mention in your next post if there is anything you would like to do during this short rest, and I will resolve it with my next post.

"Not yet, Droop, not yet. Even managed to find one of the lost drwaves." answered Finna and introduced them to each other: "Droop - this is Nundro, Nundro - this is Droop, a friend and a helper. Have some space there for exhausted? I am afraid we all need some rest."
Finna would take a short rest and try to heal some wounds: 8 + 3
Thulgrim has recovered his breath from the fight with the bugbears, and although uninjured, his muscles and ribs ache from exertion. He spends the next hour or so eating food from the wagon and refilling his waterskin, then laying back and telling Nundro about what he has seen of the mine so far, as well as asking what Nundro knows of the Forge.

Nundro, after grumbling about "Travelin' with a blasted goblin" sits a fair distance from the wagon and answers Thulgrim's questions while marveling at the progress the party has made within the mine.
"Gundren had been readin' all he could find about the forge...the Forge o' Spells, they called it; 'they' bein' our ancestors, and the gnomes what lived here too. Gundren doesn't know what it can do, exactly, but we know it could make magic weapons. Course, we never had the chance to actually find it afore I got me lights knocked out. Don't even know if it's still in there, but the spider fellow seemed to think it. Real freaky sort, that one...just sat there and asked me all calm...'where is the forge'...'how do I get past the spectator...while his drow bastards beat the livin' snot out o' me,"Nundro says, shaking his head to clear the memory.
The wagon is a somber resting place, with the bodies of Tharden and Nimble at rest, but the shadows cast by the nearby hillside and a brisk wind provide you a calm atmosphere of rest.
OOC: Your character sheets have been updated with the benefits of a shot rest. If you would like to roll any hit dice (and didn't already do so before the rest was resolved), feel free to do so in your next post.
Nemean takes care to introduce Droop and Nundro. He speaks first to Droop. “Listen here Droop. This man is Nundro Rockseeker, he has suffered greatly at the hands of our common enemy, and will now return to Phandalin a hero. Take every care of him, his every want and need. See that he rests and do your best to not let him exert himself. Soothe him with your finest melodies.”
He pats Droop on the back and then walks over to Nundro. “The Goblin is Droop, he is a... project we have taken on. He will do whatever you ask, and provide as much hospitality as the circumstances allow. Do take as good care of him as he shall of you.”

Droop nods enthusiastically, and once Nemean pats him on the back, he rushes over to Tochi, wrestling with him for his waterskin. He tugs it away from the aarakocra and carries it over to Nundro, trying to shove the waterskin in his face. Nundro attempts to back away, but eventually slaps the waterskin and snatches it from Droop's hands, taking a long, steady drink. He stares at the goblin long and hard, then walks the waterskin back over to Tochi, introducing himself further.

I jus' remembered! There were a couple o' rooms to th' south o' where we fought th' ghouls. I only looked in one, and it 'ad a strongbox tha' I didnae have time to open. Shall we try there first?
(OOC: DM, from that initial cave in the southwest, can we climb into the tunnels on the right side as well as the left? On the map they seem similar.)

OOC: I think the most direct route is across the corridor, past the lake in the west, and then straight down. Unless any other priorities?
