Cinis Eldritch Blast: 10
Tarok's swing misses the skeleton badly, and he bashes his hand on a sarcophagus, taking 2 damage. Cinis launches another fire bolt that smacks the far wall, and as Nemean stows his weapons, Argos finishes the last skeleton, tearing apart its ribcage. It crumbles into a pile of bones, and the room falls silent.
OOC: Each character receives 30 XP for defeating the skeletons. Tarok has gained a level, and gains a hit die worth of current and maximum HP (+ CON modifier that is added automatically):
Tarok Hit Die:4
Please manage your level on your character sheet once you are able.
Tracking: There is a door to the north, the east (where Argos was headed before the skeletons attacked) and to the south (where you entered from).

Argos opens the door to the east. Before he can take stock of the room, he is greeted by the flash of steel, leaping out of the doorway just in time as a sword comes crashing through. From the sides of the door, two Redbrands step into the doorway with swords drawn.
Shortsword Attack at Argos: 17 Shortsword Attack at Sildar: 12 Sildar Parry:5
One Redbrand steps through the doorway, quickly finding a gap in Argos's armor, dealing 7 piercing damage to the dwarf. He turns, lunging at Sildar; his strike appears to be true, but at the last second Sildar twists, smacking the strike away with his longsword. The other Redbrand is unable to find room to strike, with the cluster of attackers surrounding the doorway.

"Ugh. They never listen." Cinis says as he shakes his head. The tiefling ran ahead of Nemean to get a clear shot at the Redbrands by the door and fired off an Eldritch Blast at the brigands.
Argos steps aside, and energy sizzles into the wall from Cinis. Nemean launches an arrow into the first Redbrand's chest, and Tarok finishes the job with a bone-crunching swat of his maul. Sildar steps into the opening to the second Redbrand.
Shortsword Attack at Sildar: 8 Shortsword Attack at Sildar: 22
The remaining Redbrand furiously parries both of Sildar's attacks, battling to a standstill. "I'll kill you all, one by one!" he shouts.

Tracking: There is enough room for one more melee attacker before Sildar's next attack, but the door and frame of the doorway gives the Redbrand three-quarters cover. There is not enough room for a clear ranged attack between Sildar and the doorway.

OOC: It sure is!
With Crit Damage Added:20
Tarok slams his maul from around the corner into the Redbrand's skull with a sickening thud, turning his head into paste. The mangled cadaver slides dead into a sitting position in the doorway. The room falls silent.
Through the doorway, you can now see that this long room is partitioned into three areas, with iron bars walling off the north and south. Filthy straw lines the floors of those cells, the hinged doors of which are secured by chains and padlocks. A pair of disheveled human women are held in the cell to the south, while a human boy is confined to the north. All are dressed in plain gray tunics and have iron collars fitted around their necks.
A heap of discarded clothing is piled carelessly against the far wall.
OOC: Yes, one space existing for another melee attacker.
