Chlorys used the cantrip presidigitation to cause a crackling, snapping noise with small showers of colorful sparks to appear behind the creature and away from the rest of the party as a distraction
(Didn't you say that Bard was going to go next before Chlorys takes her turn?)
(You're so right. Fool me.)
Bard hefts his axe, and looks into the darkness. "I cannot see the beast. Venturing far without light would be unwise." He rummages quickly through the pouches, fetching a torch and lighting it by striking his axe against a rock. He moves forward, his axe at the ready."
(Taking his action to light a torch. He's not within range of the monster yet, but it is within range of the dim light granted by the torch.)
Chlorys sends up a cracking noise, but the insectoid monster seems unphased. Its black eyes shine forward as it squirms, and then retches up the burning pot alongside a deluge of hissing, bubbling liquid and some charred, acid-eaten bones. It spasms again, but no more than a trickle of acid emerges from its maw, as it seems to have used its reserves to propel the pot out of its gullet. Seeing Bard approach, it quickly burrows underground once more.
Off in the distance, the sound of clanging metal and another panicked yell is heard.
(Initial damage from the pot, which wasn't rolled: 9)
(Von and Camus are up. Von make also take her actions from before in addition to this round)
I'm going to use thramaturgy to create a tremor. (I know it's "harmless" but maybe it'll annoy it enough to surface). Then as a bonus action I'll use my spiritual weapon fork to start stabbing around in the general direction of where I heard the pot clang.
The creature manages to dodge Von's attack, but screeches in pain as the psychic feedback of Camus' spell hits it, causing it to squirm and lash about. Then, Bard approaches, axe drawn. He raises it. He lets it fall. With a sickening smack, the insect is neatly bisected, with only a few chitinous plates holding its two halves together. It twitches once, twice, dribbles a little bit of acid, and falls still.
(Chlorys is up. This creature is finished, but there is still one terrorizing the rest of the camp. You can make it within melee range with a dash action, or may attack it from range. However, due to the tents and wagons, the monster will have cover unless you get closer.)

Chlorys takes out her lute and casts presidigitation to amplify the sound a bit a she plucks the string. No particular tune, just a very low note that she let's play out before striking it again and letting it vibrate. Maybe it will draw the second creature towards them

Hearts fill Von’s vision as Bard cleaves the worm in two; she always loved a man who could cook. Inspired, she raises her reliquary and summons spiritual guardians. It’s glass eyes glow red as a fiendish crew of holographic chefs appear, paper hats ablaze. Brandishing their frying pans and turkey basters menacingly they attempt to provide a 15ft radius of culinary protection.
As the beast is currently engaged with tearing a bow-wielding adventurer in two, Chlorys’ music does little to distract it: it spends its turn spraying the man with acid.
There is a tremor that runs through the area…

Camus, seeing Von charging at the second creature with Spirit Guardians (and presumably Spiritual Weapon) active, decides to try to lock down the beast for her. He uses Tasha's Mind Whip on the second beast.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

“It didn’t seem to notice your music, Chlorys! Play something that sounds more terrible!” Von shouts, stomping toward the beast and halting within 15ft of the beast, her guardians in damaging range. She then hurls a javelin followed by a spiritual weapon.
(Von's turn was spent summoning the Spirit Guardians)
Too many chefs spoil the broth, and this many are certainly doing an excellent job of spoiling this creature. Or... something like that. It's a stretch, I know. Anyways, each place their knives or rolling pins hit, the burrowing insect's chitinous body withers and dies. It looks to be on its last legs (metaphorically, physically it still has dozens) when another lash of psychic energy emerges from Camus. The thing twitches, and then its jaw hangs limp as it slumps over, brain short-circuited.
For a moment, everything seems calm. There are several casualties, but overall the group has escaped without a full slaughter. Then... (dm screen noises) two pairs of pincers emerge from the ground below Chlorys and Camus, and bite down! Neither is fast enough to leap out of the way in time, and the jaws close upon them. Unless you have any preventative reactions, Chlorys will take 10piercing damage and 5acid damage, and Camus will take 7piercing damage and 3acid damage, as the beasts squirt digestive juices on the both of them as they bite. Additionally, both are grappled.
After grappling the pair, the insects retreat partially back into the holes they have made, dragging the pair along. The majority of Camus and Chlorys' bodies are still above the ground, but the insects are inside their holes. Camus and Chlorys still have a direct line of sight on them, of course.
(Everyone may act)

(Also, a note on how I'm doing combat. In order to simulate the experience of being in person, I will keep my rolls behind my "DM screen." I will tell you if you're hit or you're missed, but won't tell you the exact attack roll, nor will I show you the damage dice I'm rolling.)

He uses a bonus action to command the remaining skeleton to stab the worm grappling Chlorys with its spear: Attack: 20 Damage: 4
Meanwhile, because it has been extremely useful so far, Camus will use his action to thrash both the bugs at once by upcasting Tasha's Mind Whip from a third-level spell slot (INT save DC 16)

Von and her guardians get within range of the two being sucked under - trying to differentiate insect from ally to prevent friendly fire. She levels her fist and blasts Sacred Flame at the one beneath Chlorys and sends her spiritual weapon sailing towards Camus’s.
(Heating up the pot again is only a bonus action, so you've still got your action, and you can also roll for the initial damage)
