Aelar enters the temple, takes a seat wherever seems best, and begins preparing some of his rations for eating. "We should get some food in our stomachs before we continue. I could use a stiff drink, but this will have to do for now." he adds to the others.

Keyrona would like to take this time focusing on his new symbol of Mielikki. 

[OOC] I would love to do two things with this, if you’ll allow. 1. I would like for this symbol to become Keyrona’s Druidic focus. 2. I would like for Keyrona to fashion the symbol into his shield, jewelry, or a clasp for a cloak. I’m open to discussion, and can discuss further on the other thread. I know he can’t do all this in a short rest, but want to use downtime toward this goal until it is finished. 

So you all sit down in the temple to take a short rest and refresh yourselves. I'll ask for one person to be keeping watch, otherwise go ahead and roll your healing or whatever you'd like to be doing for the hour.

OOC: I'm happy to keep watch, as long as someone swaps with me so I get a small amount of healing.

Aelar downs some food quickly and decides to stay on guard duty while the others rest for awhile.

If I can get to the top of the tower I will have a better view of anything heading towards the temple.

"Seems like there's still plenty of goblins in town, but they seem content to stay indoors for now. Maybe we should take one of those worg's heads off later and roll it into the inn to show them we mean business." Aelar says to the others, smiling broadly.

Man how did Aelar know there are more goblins in town, I didn't see any commotion going on. Maybe the bell ringing earlier has affected my ability to hear things.

"I am fine with clearing the inn next and using the body parts to show these wild creatures just who they are dealing with. You know Lady Velrose Nandar was going to pay us to clear this threat out, shows that sometimes money isn't as good as the skill necessary to defend yourself." Anton pauses for a few moments

 "These people think that Gold solves problems, or being well mannered to strangers. That is utter crap when some wild beasts wants what you have they just come and take it. Throwing gold at these creatures does nothing. That Lady Nandar knew these creatures were a problem yet did nothing preventive to ensure the towns survival. Sure she brought us here to help deal with the problem but clearly it was to late to save the town.  " 

"I apologize for that. I will need to meditate on this when this is over. And Kanthrik I agree Damn goblins..." 

Anton becomes silent and starts to clean his quarterstaff. 

"When you are ready lets head to the inn." Anton says in a stern serious tone.

Angiro, right before resting, he searches for some bowl or basin of holy water. Thinking if he does, he'll fill the three vials he received earlier. 

After resting and tending his wounds he says softly, "I'm ready."

After the hour, you are all refreshed, recharged and ready to rock.

Angiro quietly arrives at the entrance of the inn, and presses his ears against the door. He closes his eyes so that it enhances his senses. 

Perception 19

You know what I don't think these boulders laying around are part of the cities decor. Even wealthy people aren't this bad at decorating. 

"Hey everyone...group...people...team?..." 

Off to a great start here oh wise one. Is the dragon born people? 

"I don't think these boulders belong laid out like this. The placement of the boulder in the middle of the cart path at first just came off as pretentious but starting to think that maybe these people didn't plan it to be there." 

say something wise....

"Takes a big thing to throw big stones."

Well that wasn't very intelligent. 

Ears still presses against the door, Angiro says in a whispered response to Anton, "Seems logical."

Keyrona is intrigued by the monk’s observation, and tries to glean any information he can about the origin of these boulders.

He doesn’t spend much time looking, and stays close to the group as they approach the inn.

Angiro signals to the others that there are looters inside. He figures that they are most likely goblins. He whispers to the others, "I can't tell who or what is behind this door. But, it sounds like they are looting the place. What do you guys want to do?"
