"I think everyone should just relax, this woman has clearly been through a lot. Cloud Giant attacks seem very stressful. Perhaps we should borrow a drink or two from the Inn here and recover our nerves a bit. I'm sure this woman has some family a town or two over that she can stay with, having probably lost a great deal. Furthermore, I think we should clear the goblins out from here and gather more information about these Giants." Aelar says, in a soothing, sing-song voice.

"You may go have a drink if you like, Aelar. She stays here. This woman straight up lied to us. Now why would she lie to us if she did not have some ulterior motive?"

Bringing the chest downstairs, Kathrik finds in abandoned other than the tied up goblin.

"Where did that rogue go? I'm no good with locks."

He heaves the chest back under his arm and heads back upstairs to find the rest of the party.

Angiro says agreeing with Aelar, "I actually found some strong liquor downstairs. Please madam follow me downstairs." He puts out his arm so that she can grab it. "My name is Angiro. I'm a cleric of Pelor." He shows his prayer beads with a golden sun at the end of it. "We can pray after a round of drinks."

Persuasion 20

Kella's reaction to the attempted trip was slowly and she ends up stumbling a little but not falling flat. "You people are being ridiculous! I will not go get a drink with any of you, I will not be held here against my will. I. Am. Leaving." She stares down at Keyrona, perhaps waiting for Aelar to move him out of the way. Angiro's persuasion falls on deaf ears, she's too mad to be persuaded so easily right now.

"Gentlemen, you're being quite unreasonable. I don't think the woman at the Inn threw those boulders through town. This all appears very unseemly, a group of men after a battle strong-arming a lady..." he trails off.

"Aelar, I agree." Angiro places his hand on Aelar with his prayer beads wrapped around his hand. 

Casts Guidance on Aelar.

"Aelar can explain who we are and what we represent. And please excuse us earlier. Dealing with 2 worgs and 6 goblins has us on edge." Angiro motions Keyrona and Anton to follow him downstairs. "Let's leave this woman here to gather herself. We'll be downstairs, Aelar. Come on you guys, I'm parched."

Aelar ushers the woman into the room. "Thank you Angiro, I think a good sit down and maybe a cup of tea, or brandy shall help us pick ourselves back up. It can't have been a few hours since I had my own throat torn out. We need to clear our heads and think straight before we decide what to do next." he says.

For DM:

Like I said before, Keyrona won’t let Kella out of his sight. He doesn’t take kindly to people lying to his face. If Aelar wants to have a conversation, Keyrona won’t be far away. 

Kella will allow Aelar to lead her out of the room and to the main dining area of the Inn. However, before you're about to have your tea or stiff drink or whathaveyou, Kella looks concerned, as if she's listening. After a moment, she turns to Aelar. "Seems like the rest of the town is still in a bit of trouble. Goblins are such a nuiscance."

"Anigro is correct stressful times. Anigro and I have the goblin tied up downstairs and it has agreed to lead us to its goblin lair. Let me know when you guys want to head out. Until then I am going to rest." Anton then walks to one of the rooms upstairs and closes the door. Places an extra unlit torch against the door. Then sits down on the floor and will mediate about the previous interaction and have some personal reflection.

She lied about being a monk, why? In my heart I don't think I can trust her. I thought I was super subtle with the foot snag, always worked on others in my village. 

"Aelar, before you head back downstairs could you try opening this? I'm gettin' tired of carrying it around... if I did it my way it would just get smashed."

"What is going on here? I came with these adventurers, and they seem a reasonable sort. Maybe a little uptight, but pretty capable in a fight. We should be able to mop up the other goblins, but it seems like there is a lot more at hand. Maybe we can help each other out?" Aelar says to Kella.

"Yes Kanthrik, I'll open it up in a moment after my cup of tea" he says in a loud, mono-syllabic voice through the door in reply to the Dragonborn.
