With the lethality of the ballista demonstrated, there’s no sign of the remaining sailors on the other ship where Jeras’s body remains impaled on the mast.
The Hargrove ship may be in range (disadvantage) but other than the ship itself, there are no clear targets.
As the group on deck catch their collective breath, and the ballista crew helps Avaria load a bolt just in case, the door to the captain’s cabin opens and several ex-prisoners-now-passengers run out and quickly find the stairs down to the deck below.
Marrin – the chest is locked.
At current pace, the Rose Maria will likely be fighting with the Hargrove's ship as to who gets to go through the entrance to the harbour first.
"Who's ship is that?" Ethel calls out as she gets her bearings back on the deck. She hollers at a few of those fleeing below deck but gets no answers. She looks at the carnage around her... Jisthelek, Xanthe, more... all dead, peppered with arrows.
Then she spots Avaria aiming the ballista and climbs up to her side. She looks at the other ship, its course, and their inevitable intersection. She looks at the weary and battered band of escapees.
"The sails?" she asks herself. Turning to Avaria, "Do you think you can hit their masts from here?" Then shouting for Ula and Jan, "Anyone have any spellpower left? Hit their sails... slow them down before they box us in. I don't think we want another battle with these bastards!"
[If it is disadvantage distance for the ballista, I assume the sails are outside the 120' range of Chill Touch?]

"I readied spells to help us get out of the caverns, not to fight ship to ship, but I can work on picking them off when they come in range... How many more bolts you got for that thing, Ava?"
If there's no enemy targets within 200 feet or so, Jan will change her face back to herself and head towards the Captain's cabin.
"Mar, any luck with crossbows, hand or otherwise?"
The other ship will be within the 120' range in another round (and is about 180' this round so within the 200'). There are 4 bolts left (at least readily noticeable) near the ballista.
In the footlocker you find all of your missing gear and equipment.
The chest remains locked and the cupboards unexplored.
((Jan had a light crossbow as well. She'd like hers back if it's there!))
"I've got lockpicks, but my hands are still a little shaky and the other ship will be in my range soon..."
((Jan will remain up top for now, but if Marrin wants to give the lock picks a try, she'll hand them over, but is otherwise finding a position she can take that provides some amount of cover and will let her start sniping any of the other crew once they get into range. If she has a spare action, she'll turn into Captain Percival.))
Jan isn't concerned about the gold, but eagerly takes the crossbow and gives it a quick check over as she loads a bolt and sights towards the far ship. Any crew she can spot is getting a bolt coming their way, prioritizing ones that seem to be working on 'sailing critical' tasks, such as whoever is on the wheel or, if someone is in the process of getting sail situated.
"Ava, that thing packs a punch, you think you could hit their wheel with it?"
Jan snaps off a shot and reloads.
Attack: 14 Damage: 12 piercing + 2 bludgeoning

Listening to the others as well as she can and noticing that there are only 4 bolts left, she turns to Bigge, "Think you can find some more bolts for this thing?"
Seeing that she is just out of range for a good hit, she readies her attack to when the ship is within range to release the bolt and hit the easier of the two targets, the mast or the wheel (I'm presuming the mast? But I could be wrong)
Attack: 8 Damage: 19
(If she can't use the ready command to release when they come into range, going to roll the attack again for the disadvantage): 22
((Are we able to see how equipped the other ship is relative to the Rose Marie? Did it have to anchor farther out because it's bigger? If we're going up against a fully manned galleon with a whole bank of ballista of their own, that might alter our tactics...))

((It's a little bigger, two ballista, probably a crew, though who knows how many were on board when it was commandeered - will resolve the above this evening))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the group all turn their attention to the other ship, Bigge looks visibly perplexed.
"Why are you attacking that ship?" Bigge calls. "We should just get out of here not get into another fight."
Jan spots someone at the helm, but the partial protection provided by the solid rails around the quarterdeck prove to be just enough protection that crossbow bolt wedges into the hull rather than the sailor.
Avaria is able to line up the mast and just connect with the ballista bolt. It wedges into the sturdy timber, sending splinters flying but the mast is still very much functional.
Marrin follows Jan's crossbow bolt to the sailor at the helm and lines up her own attack. This time the helmsman isn't so lucky and takes the full blow in the shoulder.
But now the ship's crew is paying the Rose Marie attention when before it was just looking to the 'Godrick' ship.
Two ballista bolts race across the harbour, one ripping through one of the Rose Marie's sails, shredding the canvas. The other slams into the mast, causing slightly more damage than Avaria was able to.
"Damn it," Bigge shouts looking up at the sail. "We need to repair that if we want to get out of here before anyone else decides to come after us."
He gets a locker in the middle of the deck open and a canvas patch out. He makes for the rigging, but the manacles around his legs still hobble him.
"Anyone nimble enough to climb and get this attached?"

If Jan starts doing that Marrin will being moving toward Bigge and grabs the repair kit and yells towards the other ship in Percival's voice,
"Hold your fire! We have taken care of the boarders, would you like a hand in running down the other vessel?"
She'll then start climbing up to begin the patching.
((Any roll for that? Have an acrobatics 8 if it is needed))
Marrin says,
"Okay, all of you get below deck. OUT!"

Marrin will look annoyed a looked chest, and if the goblins and humans huddled in the room haven't departed she will shoo them out again,
"Down stairs is safer than here. Go."
When Jan comes in she'll nod at the chest and switch back to her voice.

(Yes, everything you had when captured is there. Ula will share)
Marrin scoop up the extra crossbow and bolts, along with everyone's gold, before declining the lockpicks and handing Jan her gold.
