Avaria drops down and looks to Bigge with a sheepish look, "Well, we wanted to slow them down so we didn't have to fight them up close. They aren't going to let us get out of this harbor without a fight. Do we have any more bolts?"
Ethel facepalms at the idea this other ship may not have been after them at all.
She uses her next action to alter herself back into a pirate so they do not spot fish-Ethel moving freely on the deck.

The other ship moving in the harbour is the one William and Gillian Hargrove seem to have gotten on to, with William still under the effects of the Suggestion that he pursue his son. That ship was making for the entrance to the harbour. The ship you think had Godrick on board has already left the harbour and is out of sight. Until the ship was fired upon it didn't appear to be paying attention to the Rose Marie.
Bigge looks at Avaria.
"We were headed towards the entrance. They were headed towards the entrance. That's not a fight," Bigge says. "We won't get out of here if we have to fight our way out. There isn't enough wind for that kind of maneuvering."
The other two on the ballista stand down and look at Avaria and Bigge.
Bigge shakes his head and looks up into the rigging. Happy to see some one nimble making their way up.
"Yeah. Right there." Bigge calls.
(Sleight of Hand or Survival to do a quick sail repair).
Avaria narrows her eyes a bit at Bigge. "You haven't been dealing with the Hargroves as we have. There will be a fight, we know it. They are not letting us just sail out of here."
She looks up at Marrin, holding her breath a bit but happy to see her friend seems to be handling it well. As she watches her, she continues to talk to Bigge, "Not enough wind? Well, you better hope it picks up."
Then looking back to Bigge, "Now, for the third time, where are more bolts for the ballista?"
A voice calls across from the other ship, echoing off the water and harbour walls.
"Do you need assistance with the prisoners?" the voice calls, apparently convinced enough by the Captain Percival imitation.
Before you can answer, another loud voice echoes across to you.
"Blast it man, we have to catch my son. Those prisoners will keep."
Finally a third voice.
"What's gotten into you? Godrick wanders. He'll be back."
Up in the rigging, Marrin gives it her best with the sail, but the patch does take. She does catch the canvas before it floats away though so she can give it another go (with advantage because of the practice she's put in now).
Bigge does pull the chain tight when Avaria hacks away at. She almost splits the link in two but not quite. Bigge is still hobbled.
"If there are any left they'll be in the locker by the ballista," Bigge says, though his tone has gone icier, moving to match Avaria's tone towards him.
Jan shakes her head and waves them off, cupping her right hand to her mouth as, her left hand tracing the air behind her as Captain Percival's voice calls out, "Everything is perfectly alright now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?"
"I can pick the lock once the other ship isn't watching 'Captain Percy'...", Jan mutters up to Ava and Bigge at the clang of metal.

Tamarrin looks with moderate annoyance at the damaged sail but continues with more care this time.
She comments down to Janival, in Percival's voice,
"Maybe let me do the talking heading forward? That is more consideration that I think Percival had in his entire body."
Then to everyone on deck,
"If you aren't actively helping get the Rose out and away, get out of sight. The more wrong faces on deck the greater the chance someone will get suspicious."
Avaria squats down and rests her forearms on her legs, looking up at Bigge. She lets out a sigh, and in a gentler voice, "Look, I don't think you realize what we've gone through and I did just get you out of lockup in the hold." Looking down at the links that she almost broke and hearing Jan's comment, she looks back up at Bigge, "Want me to try again or should we be quieter and wait for Jan?"
Seeing the tension growing between Bigge and Avaria, New Pirate - Ethel tentatively pats both of them on the shoulders. "Avaria, I suspect Mr. Bigge has had himself a rough patch as well. Most likely, none of us are thinking clearly. Lets just get the ship out of here and we can all be laughing in the hold later drinking the late Captain's private stocks."
Then, recognizing she is not actively helping their escape, she asks Bigge if there is anything else she can do to assist?

With the metal chain almost completely broken through, Bigge is able to pull hard and snap the last bit of metal. His ankles are still locked in metal with half the length of the chain dragging from each but he at least has a little better movement now.
"Aye, I've heard of what goes on here," Bigge says, waving back at the wharf and the tunnel to the arena. "But I've spent my first visit locked in that cage downstairs."
He looks directly at Avaria.
"Thank you for the rescue," Bigge says. Then adds, "Tammer and Slick are still alive? I can fix that. Keel hauling is all those two deserve."
Hammerdasher, heeding Marrin's suggestion, heads below but says "Call if you need me. I'll be just down the stairs."
Ula does the same.
Bigge goes up to the quarterdeck and takes the helm back from the ex-prisoner now sailor. He directs the two sailors to tie off some rope lines.
"If you can magic up some wind, that would help," Bigge says to Ethel. "If not, if one of you can get up on the bow sprit and watch the water for rocks when we get to the entrance that might mean we can actually get out of here. I don't know this harbour."
Other than the two sailors and Bigge, the only ones left on deck are Avaria, Marrin (looking like Tammer), Jan (looking like Percival) and Ethel (looking like a generic pirate). The rest of the escapees are below as are your two prisoners.
The other ship doesn't launch any more ballista bolts and continues for the harbour entrance. They look like they'll exit first now given the delay caused by the ripped sail.
"We could feign further ship troubles as an excuse to hang back a bit. Bigge, you have a sense of if the Rose Marie can outrun either of those ships if they give chase?"

Bigge watches the other ship for a long moment before answering. He looks up at the sails and then at each of you.
"No, we're not outrunning them," Bigge says. "Even with a full experienced crew I don't think we could."
He shouts an order for another change of ropes, and changes course slightly, giving the Rose Marie a longer path towards the harbour entrance.
"But, the Rose is a nimble lass," Bigge says with a smile. "We can out maneuver the others. We'd have a chance staying close to the islands and reefs. Maybe try luring them onto a sandbar."
He laughs a little to himself and looks at Avaria.
"How about we just play nice for now and not give them any reason to chase us? No more bolts in their mast?"
With that said, you can all see the other ship making its way through the narrow harbour entrance and presumably out to sea.
"I still need one of you out on the bow sprit and could use eyes port and starboard."
--------------------------------------------
Bigge's making use of the two sailors, who are still nameless, and will need three sets of eyes to navigate the harbour entrance. That leaves one who could go down and get Ula and any other back up to check on Tammer and Slick.
