As the wyverns wheel, swoop and alternate between diving and flying low over the treetops and then soaring and gliding high in the cold mountain air, the party has differing levels of comfort with the experience.
Avaria maintains her balance, effortlessly adapting to the movement. As to where they all are and what they’re doing, she’s lost focus. She has so far spent her time watching the rippling muscles of the wyvern as it flies.
Marrin appears to be hating everything about this experience. All of her senses are focussed on staying in the air and not plummeting hundreds of feet down. At one point, when the wyvern makes a sudden turn, Marrin finds herself completely up in the air, with clear space between her and the back of the dragon-kin. But before things can go terribly wrong, the rider in front of Marrin, one of the tiefling twins, reaches back and pulls Marrin back to the safety of the wyvern’s back.
Solomona comfortably balanced and rolling with the movements of the wyvern, finds he’s able to take in the sights around him. He spots puffs of smoke coming from distant chimneys in what must be a nearby village. His guess is confirmed as the group flies quickly over a little mountain village. But then Solomona spots something else, up ahead two other wyverns are in the air, both with riders, and they appear to be diving and swooping around something that the monk can’t make out.
Vonth, while not showing the same ease as Avaria, holds his bulk steady on the back of the wyvern. He seems slightly uncomfortable with the whole process. His attention is too focused on his own plans to notice anything about the skies or woods near the party.
As Vonth reaches forward to grab hold of the woman controlling the wyvern, he miscalculates her strength, and she’s able to push his massive arm to the side. At the same time Vonth notices that she has wrapped the reins tightly around her wrist, and has her boots securely in the stirrups, to keep herself from falling off.
On his second attempt, he is able to get a secure grip around the rider. But when Vonth tries to throw her from the back of the wyvern, he discovers the reins are harder to untangle than they look and she remains where she is.
In response, the rider pulls back on the reins and the wyvern barrel rolls in the air, over and over (DC 20 Athletics to keep a grip on the rider while staying securely on the back of the wyvern - if fail Vonth needs to provide a second roll - DC 12 Athletics - to stay hanging on to the wyvern).
At the same time as the wyvern rolls, the rider shouts a warning to the other riders.

Jan has been in there a few hours at least (let’s say 3).
From outside, Jan can hear a loud hiss and a deep-throaty growl.
