Orc 4 looks up at Jan when she mentions her chicken illusion, then back to the chickens, instead of the chicken he was heading towards, he turns his gaze to the other chicken.
Orc 5 wiggles in Marrin's hold but instead of trying to break free, he takes a wild swing around at Marrin's head. He brushes the tip of her left ear but can't make any real contact.
The crowd groans at the missing, the lack of any real fighting or more dead chickens starting to sap their interest.
"Think fast, ladies," Ethel says, addressing her allies near the pen as she casually approaches. "What's the play here? We can hold out and win this, for whatever that is worth... or we just kill the last two chickens... no one wins... and the Hargroves are out hundreds of goldpieces in cheap drinks to thirsty customers. I'm feeling extra spiteful today but you just let me know which way you want to go with this one...".
Ethel readies chill touch again. This time, the trigger will be to target one of the chickens if a majority of her friends give her the go ahead.

Gertrude seems distressed by the events that have gone on in the arena. Avaria also notices that Gillian Hargrove has also left the arena.
With the majority in favour, a skeletal hand materializes near the orc scrambling on the ground in the chicken pen. His eyes go wide for a moment, thinking it's coming for him but as it zeroes in on one of the chickens, you can see him relax.
The hand catches the chicken easily, which causes the crowd to cheer even louder than before.
"Two for one, two for one," they chant.
The chicken collapses as black, pustule like boils appear on the leg and head.
One last chicken clucks loudly at this turn of events and pecks the orc on his hand, causing him to yelp.
Gertrude looks distraught up in the viewing area. This has not gone as she had hoped.
"Twelve seconds left," she says. Then she pauses for a moment as she thinks quickly. "Whichever team saves the last chicken gets to keep it."

Avaria moves in to scoop up the chicken, but is a touch too gentle with it and the bird flaps indignantly and scurries across the pen. Unfortunately for the real Jan, Avaria going for the last chicken, and Gertrude mentioning it's the last one gives the orc the edge in seeing through any suggestion that the chicken is an illusion.
Orc 2 dives on it and despite all the feathers flying and clucking, he comes up with the bird intact.
Haguur, seeing Orc 2 get the chicken, jumps up and turns to face Ula, he strikes out with a fist (Attack: 14 Damage: 5 ) in an effort to make a hole for Orc 2 to start making his way through.
But even as he punches hard at Ula's face, Haguur nods and says, "Yes. Kill them all."
Gertrude looks down at the fake Jan, sometimes known as Marrin. She looks flustered but still puts on a brave face.
"My mother, er, sometimes thinks just not, um, sending more animals into the arena is an, um, excellent reward." Gertrude says.

Ula steps to the side just as Haguur lashes out, avoiding the blow. She advises him, “We need to bide our time!… pick the right moment… … ‘We’ll talk!’…”, she says.
And with that cleared up, she drops the dead chicken from her hand and spins round to casts sacred flame on the nearest living chicken. ((DEX save DC14 or take 2 radiant damage)).

Somehow the chicken seems to sense what Ula is doing even before she does. Perhaps the sight of the dead chicken dropping from Ula's hand gives enough warning that Ula is not a friend of fowl. Or perhaps Ula didn't account for the movement Orc 2 added to the equation. Whatever it was, the column of flaming radiance shoots down from the sky and misses the chicken.
The crowd still cheers and oohs and aahs at the sight of more magic.
Orc 4 gets up off the sand, looking around for any sign of a chicken that might still be alive. Seeing that one of his comrades has it, and that Ula seems intent on killing it, he rushes forward throwing himself at Ula to knock her to the ground.

Orc 3 still sleeps soundly along the southern wall.

Haguur and Ula are still squared off against each other.
Orc 2 is near your chicken pen, looking to slip past Avaria and Jan.
Orc 3 continues to snore against the southern wall.
Orc 4 is on his knees in the chicken pen, with two chickens who are not happy with that development.
Orc 5 and Marrin are still wrapped up with each other along the northern wall, near the orc pen.

JanMarrin shrugs and speaks loudly,"I like winning but since we don't actually win anything might as well just kill them."
Ula is just focussed on Haguur. ((No comment back from him yet?))

Jan is once again confused at words spilling unbidden from her mouth.

Looking up, Avaria is seeing how the killing of the chickens is affecting Gertrude.
She looks back at Ethel and nods
[I think 3/5 is already a majority.]
