Orion, your Primeval Awareness allows you to determine this is some sort of dragonkin or dragon-like creature. You also feel the constant background elemental hum and detect some fey north of your campsite.
Taxidea, Thor growls low in his throat at the sight and smell of the winged creature.
Bolin retrieves his battle axe and prepares to attack should the creature land.
Meanwhile, Deragor takes a little bit of target practice and hits the creature with an arrow. The creature shrieks in pain and focuses its attention on the camp, especially Deragor and Prim. It begins a diving descent.
Before the deep gnomes leave, Prim suggests they beef up security in case the hobs decide to attack out of spite.

Orion, stealthily, wakes the others and moves to a place with cover. He indicates wordlessly what he heard.
(Does the hours rest count as a short rest to regain 3 spell slots? Have we recovered all hp after multiple Prims healing?)

(Yes, & healer healing can be done after short or long rests IIRC)
Everyone should be all healed up and have all of their spell slots available. The only thing you have not been able to do is research new spells.
