Okay. Taxidea's firebolt hits the fleeing hobgoblin, but it keeps on running as Prim's Wither and Bloom hits it for 12 hp damage. It stumbles a bit but keeps going, hollering something in hobgoblin.
Orion, you see within the silver chest lined with blue velvet a large orangish pink orb. As you reach inside the chest, you suddenly feel as if something has wrapped tentacles around you. You are restrained and unable to move, although you can breathe.

Orion Wild Shapes into a weasel, drops through the tentacles that were holding him, and scurries under the bed, leaping up and clinging to the underside of the mattress. For his action, he uses Dodge.
Prim and Taxidea, you stand alone in the hall just outside the room to where Orion has escaped and is hiding under the bed. You have three dead hobgoblins between you and the faint sound of footsteps running toward you.
"Badger, check if the door is unlocked. I'll blast the guards if it's locked. I wonder why Orion didn't open the door?", Prim says as she turns toward the approaching footsteps.
Taxidea is first drinking the greater healing potion, then he'll cast Mage Hand and use it to try to open the door.

Prim readies a fireball to cast (hopefully) before initiative rounds unless we can get into the door before they get here.
"Hey Gobbo, if you're still here, maybe come into the other room with us when the door opens", Prim says in the direction of the tapestry where Gobbo was last seen.

If needed she stands & dashes to keep in range so she can get the heal on herself.
Medicine check 4 to see how wounded he is, she thinks he's fine & casts at 3rd lvl if Tax didn't kill him

Can I see where the tentacles are coming from? Can I tell whether they are part of the chest or a separate creature?
