Warren swings his arms in circles then stretches them over his head, he does a few more stretches before he prepares to dash on his turn. His routine isn't nearly as long or thorough as Adam's, but he looks just as pumped up. "Hah! I'll beat you there elf!"
Chuckling Muck allows everything that is wearing to fall through him and to hit the floor and then dashes forward through the explosions.
Con Save: 7
Ignoring most of the bombs he makes holes in himself to let them pass through and seems to be sailing quite easily though this course, until the last bomb he does not quite time it properly as he makes a hole in his body and then closes it before the bomb goes off. As it goes off he expands to twice his size, with a few pieces of himself splattering against the wall. He pau8ses a moment as he lets his pieces slither back to join with the main body as he then scoots slowly across the finish line, leaving a slime trail behind him.
As a few of you complete the bomb run, you see a something above each other. It appears to be a white sliver, just above your heads. A few other cadets try to touch and and see that their hands go through it.
"Don't worry about it. It's how they show progress for each cadet." The dwarf from before shouts, "Keep on with the course!"
The second part of the course is the pool jump, leap across levitating platforms over pools of electrified water, Strength(Athletics) or Dexterity(Acrobatics), DC 10
(You don't, you just retry the part of the course again.)
In Warren's rush, he easily swings through the first jump and is sprinting for the second. He jumps and catches the next rope, letting his momentum build. And as he hops for the next platform, his landing is rough as it forces him to tumble. He loses control and finds himself falling off the platform. Yet he manages to control his fall to avoid the pool of electrified water by falling onto the edges.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mirelda was among those who tried to catch the silverfish above the head of closest cadet and laughed at the result. Realizing that distraction does not help with finishing the course, she shook off the untimely curiosity and concentrated on jumping.
In mid-jump Adam begins to question his judgement on wearing full plate armor while jumping over pools of electrified water but lets out a sigh of relieve as he barely sticks his landing. Looking over to grin at his racing partner, Warren, he finds him missing. "Warren?", Adam questions as he peers over the ledge."Are you alright?" he asks with genuine concern.
Edit: (OOC: this is why I don't like rolling on forum and would rather roll in the Log. >_< )
Warren let's out a sharp gasp as he tumbles towards the water below. He growls to himself before smiling back up at Adam, "Oh I'm more than alright." He calls back, "Just givin, you a head start!" He starts making his way back up to the top, "Better get goin before I catch up!"
Once there he steels himself and tries again.
Acrobatics: 15
"I can still beat you Adam!" He exclaims as he sticks the landing, "We've still a ways to go!"
Beshlog takes a moment to catch his breath on the other side of the course
"Nice work, buddy!" the giant says to Warren with a friendly slap on the back, as the Dragonborn makes it to the ledge. "I knew you could do it. Alright, there's one more course, if I'm not mistaken..."
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
As the others start to finish the jump course, you see the white sliver is now crossed with another, making a cross of sorts. Now the next part of the course is the mace swing.
Current race positions:
Beshlog, Bellona, Mirelda, Adam
Muck, Warren
(Not applicable yet: Zaridil)
The third part is the mace swing, Swing from ropes through spinning wheels of maces. Dexterity(Acrobatics) DC of 12
Beshlog, now thoroughly annoyed at this final task, manages on his third try to get past the maces... it turns out that a 300 pound, seven-and-a-half foot tall Goliath isn't the most agile creature. But he made it to the end.
"Not gonna lie," he says with a growl. "That last bit kinda kinda p***** me off."

Beshlog doesn't think about the strange white sliver; he figures it's best not to think too much when it comes to tasks like this.
