As the group tries to evade the sticky strands as they pass through the tunnel, Logum's cloak and beard got stuck followed by Sandral's hair. Seeing the group's current situatiom, Rinc tries to light up a torch. Sen'ra tries to help but as he creates the flame from his hands, he unknowingly places his both his arm to the same sticky thread his companions was trapped to.
While torch-bearing Rinc tries to solve their never-ending conundrum, Alton can see two white scorpion-like arachnids coming from the dark, creepily crawling through the webs with ease, drooling with their white, sticky filament on their mouth as they come near their grappled prey.

With the filament's sticky properties, ability checks needed to escape the grappled condition are at disadvantage with a DC of 13. The threads can also be severed with the risk of making your weapon stuck on failure. Removing them requires the same ability check aforementioned.
The first arachnid spews a long sticky thread at the halfling with a glowing sword while the second one spews it at the torch-bearing human.
(Alton and Rinc, roll for Strength Saving Throw with a DC of 13 or become one with your grappled party members.)
Rinc shows his prowess in strength as he rips the sticky thread from his chest like a strongman and closes in at the arachnid. He then makes two swings with his longsword but the creature repels it with its two claws and staves off his attacks.

Started as a player at time of registration. Started to DM a month later. Hoping to get better as time progresses.
Logum's attempt almost succeeded but still a bit lacking for him to fully slip away. He then turns his unfortunate condition into something productive by cheerfully inspiring Alton who is currently in the same state he is in.
(Sen'ra and Alton still has their turn so there's still hope.)

As the group continues to trek the other route, more of the sticky, white filament bars their way as they ascend.
(I need everybody to roll an Acrobatics skill check.)
Alton sighs at the wb and considers using one of his daggers to cut through it but does not want to risk losing his valued blades.

Sandral attempts to wriggle out from the sticky trap but ended up more covered with it.

Alton was surprised by the the attack, he lost all his strength and is now stuck on the spot where he stands.
(Alton only did a strength saving throw, he still has a turn to spend either trying to get out the threads or do other stuff.)
If Logum can reach the torch Rinc dropped, he will grab that and try to hit the webs around him.

If he cannot reach, he will attempt to wriggle out.
