"That does seem like a very fair deal if I say so myself. The only fault with it is that we lack the ability or finances to buy whst would be needed to breathe under water for a long period of time." Alton says as he looks to the large bugbear thoughtfully "I beleive that if we could solve this problem it would benefit you greatly master ranger." He turns towards Jeff.
Logum will quietly take the deal for armor while his companions discuss the job. When he gets a moment he will say hello to Alton who he has not seen in a week.
"Wow, these are incredible.." Jeff says in awe, admiring the bracers.
"They're out of my price range right now, but perhaps once we've completed your job I could afford them. Do you have any information for us? Any bit would help us successfully complete your job. From what we read under your posting it said 'ability to breath under water an asset' or something to that effect. None in our party can do that- one of us is a fire gensai! Do you have any suggestions for us to even be able to consider your quest? Alton is right, we don't currently have the ability to attempt this even if we wanted to. Any aid would be greatly appreciated."
Jeff really liked the look of the bracers and even if it took him a few jobs to save up the coin he wanted to have them. Hopefully he could get on the good side of 'Kurg'
"I wouldn't hire adventurers for the job if I know someone, right?"
Kurguhul sits on his rocking chair,
"Perhaps if you know someone who can give you an ability or a magc item to breath underwater, you could get the job. Use your noggin' me boy", as he taps his forehead with his hooked hand.
"Don't worry about someone getting the job, I posted it for a year and nobody attempted to take it. I'm sure it will be there by the time you find something."

"I will take that into consideration when speaking to my associates." Sandral says, bidding farewell to Garbanzo. He decides to get the robe with golden print birds, feeling they were possibly made for him. After taking his clothes back to his room to change, he'll begin to search around for the others to see if they are ready for another quest.
Sandral searches for his other members. After a few minutes, he found them loitering around the local smithy with some of the few members still missing.
They begin to move to Seashell Beach where they were supposed to meet up with the Grand Advisor.
The group sees him standing with the captain hobgoblin last week.
"I see some of you are missing, just brief them when you see each other.
For now let's discuss why a group of adventurers are recruited. This concerns one of the kingdom's allies at the other island.
They have a report that a series of underwater volcano eruptions shifted the sea between the central island and the isolated barren island to the west.
I want your group to contact the tribe of kobolds to learn what they found on their investigation. The weekly high tide prevented the one passage connecting the kingdom's island and the central island since the surrounding sea is in constant state of whirlpools appearing and disappearing at different intervals.
Your group must prepare for days of travel going through an underground cave. Just be careful since the seawater slowly rises and the cave is fully submerged after a week. After that, you must wait a few days for it to be drained."
The Grand Advisor walks towards Sandral and Alton,
"I see both of you have proper manners when meeting someone of a higher rank",
"Use them in case of emergency. Captain, please step forward."
The captain walks in front. You see him holding few small pouches.
"Each of you walk towards the captain and he'll hand you 20 gold. Buy what you think you might need for your travels in the underdark. The captain will meet you after an hour, then he'll escort you to the cave. Have a safe trip everyone."
The Grand Advisor flies away.
( Added the potion in both Sandral's and Alton's inventory. For the gold, you can either keep or spend it. Just post what you'll use or buy them for. )

"These may be invaluable, thank you." Sandral will stow the potion into a pocket of his robe, keeping a hand on it subconsciously to ensure it doesn't get misplaced. He walks over to the captain to accept the 20 gold. Sandral then looks to Alton. "We should summon the others. With only an hour, shopping will need to be quick. If it's a few days, we'll need some extra provisions."
Alton will nod as he took pockets the potion for a later time. He counts off the twenty gold in his head and thinks,on what he himself will need for the trip. "I shall go about finding our compatriots and any supplies that I will need for the trip. I will be back in one hours time." He tells Sandral before walking off do his shopping and hopefully to find more of the others.
Jeff took the pouch of gold, upset that only two potions were handed out. If they were to be navigating whirlpools and high tides then he would feel much safer if each of them had one. (At least we have a few, better than none.) He thinks to himself.
"I'm off to get some supplies, meet back here once we've gathered what we need?"
And he heads back to town.
(OOC: I don't have my phb as I'm at work, can someone check the prices on these things for me? Otherwise I can check when I get home. Thanks!)
"Hmm. Water, huh? Not real crazy about this quest. Don't really know what I should buy. Kobolds? They're nasty little buggers. Smart, too. Some of them had a beef with one of my old employers. Wasn't a pretty sight when I found him..."
(I already have starting supplies from when I made my character, do they just not count?)

Rinc is going to select studded leather armor instead of the chain shirt so that he has enough money left (5GP) to spend on any quest fee...
