Alton frowns as he sees one of their own go down like that, looking to the others seriously. "I do not mean to sound heartless but we must continue onward before the other comes back as Sandral said. We are clearly not in the proper condition for another fight right after this one."
"I agree" Jeff says "But can't we at least try to move the body? We shouldn't just leave it under that horrid beast."
He goes to the body and, if he has help, will try to free it from the giant. If it doesn't succeed he will lower his head and walk with the group in mourning.
After double checking the coast is clear, Sandral will assist in recovering Riskah. Since he is not currently exhausted (and others are to a high degree), he'll attempt to carry the body on his back, hopefully getting aid from others to move the body into position. "I'll take him for as long as I can. Perhaps we can find somewhere to bury him near our next resting spot. Let's get moving."
Sen'ra will help to lift the giant off of Riskah, then move them to a suitable resting place.

Sandral looks to Jeff once he's burdened with Riskah's body. "You think we can find a trail? Perhaps our two new friends can help us find a way to somewhere to get provisions. Speaking of which," he looks around for the two kobolds. "Are they okay?"
Aside from most of the things broken from the impact of the giant, Rinc found an unidentified magical ring while Logum finds an intact waterskin.
Guras and Kirpo moves away from their cover and tries to help find something usable. Beside a couple of bones and rotten meat, a large chunk of gold ore was inside the giant's sack. The kobolds hands it over to Logum.
(Rinc needs at least a short rest to identify it. Logum can put another waterskin on his equipment.)
As Sandral asks their condition, Kirpo replies.
"There is a sutiable place where we can take rest. Just follow me."
Jeff and Sen'ra helps Sandral carry the monk's corpse as they travel towards the mountains.
After a few hours of travelling to the east, the group arrives in a small clearing at the entrance of a forest beneath the mountains past noon.
The sky starts to get cloudy and a small pond with croaking frogs sits on top of water lilies located near southwest of the entrance.
There are a few broken trees that goes deeper into the forest.

Believer of the almighty one, the Alpha and the Omega, whose love encompasses all of his creations, RNGesus.
Started as a player at time of registration. Started to DM a month later. Hoping to get better as time progresses.
Once the group is near the edge, Sandral slowly gets to his knees to relieve himself of the monk's body. "This place is beautiful." He mentions, looking at the lilies on the water. "It's not a cemetary, but let's hope it's somewhere he would've wanted." He looks to the others. "Do we know if Riskah had any next of kin?"
(Also, does the water look clean enough to consume and refill waterskins with?)
Alton will sit down as soon as they find a suitable place to do so, panting as it is clear that all of it is wearing him down. He looks to the others and will pull out his flute, playing it to try and keep them calm.
Sandral looks at the pond at sees the water doesn't look that bad if you don't mind it with frogs from who knows where they came from, occasionally swimming on it. (Roll a Nature check if you want to make sure.)
Alton sits on the grass as he plays his flute while others are contemplating on what to do. Three of them are still holding a dead corpse while the other one is not moving an inch, probably still shaken from what happened earlier.
Rinc fills his waterskin with water from the pond. He sees movement below the water and time passes, it starts to get closer, and closer, until it reaches his submerged hand.
Eventually it emerges and shows its full form. A small tadpole. A large tadpole rushes behind and swallows it. Then a frog lashes out its tongue and proceeds to eat the large tadpole.
Guras and Kirpo just looks at the group for a while and starts to hunt a few frogs for rations.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(I mentioned prior that I was carrying the body, and I've laid it down a small distance from the waterside)
Sandral checks the water over. Preferring his innate fire as an element of choice, he attempts an educated guess as to whether the water is clean enough for drinking, before cupping his hands and trying a small amount.

Sandral recalls that any open water source in the wilderness, especially those that are in stagnant places, is not a good source of drinking water.
Unless boiled for a minute, any person with a weak constitution might suffer bowel disorders.
Guras and Kirpo managed to hunt frogs and roast them, enough for them and two more others. They'll hand it over to anyone who might want. (2 rations of frog meat.)
Sandral pauses. "Don't have any yet." He comments. "I'm going to distil it. This looks a bit too stagnant for consumption." He gets the lantern again from the group as he did the other night (I think we decanted the water from it) and will use his magic to make a controlled fire and use the glass lantern again to boil some of the water for a short time (as mentioned above) until it seemingly appears consumable to the best of his abilities.
Sen'ra will help him, since he can cast Produce Flame

Alton will contunie to play his flute as the rest go about their bussiness. It seemed as if this was the halflings way to ceal with what had happened earlier thst day. If he is asked for help he will set the instrument to the side to get up and do so. It is rather clear at this time that like the rest of the party he is worn down and tired.
(If anyone could cast a healing spell on me, that would be great)

RInc heads to the pond filling himself with water.....
"I didn't get to know him well enough....We need to stay overnight...the water helps but..."

Rinc will take some frog meat.....he's tired of trail rations.
Sandral boils enough water to sustain the whole group for the day.
Alton continuously play his flute while others start to take rest.
Rinc helps himself with one ration of frog meat leaving the last one available.
(Anyone who takes a short rest may roll the amount of hit die they want to spend.)
