Kasbis says “Yes, let’s head to the Oaken mine and track them down. I’ve packed my supplies, let’s follow them.” Gaz jumps out of his pocket to follow along the ground and look for tracks as well.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Before leaving the oasis and hidden refuge of safety, Kasbis makes one last sweep of the emerald mine and finds 4 leftover Zamaruud emeralds which are roughly the size of a brooch. Once he has gathered them and put them in his pouch. Then he heads out to follow any trail that is picked up.

(Yes indeed. It is what I ask at my irl and my other online campaign as a way to have everyone participate. Even if someone rolled high)
3 days later after heading west the party sees an abandoned home that is barely standing. Then the party can hear the low humming sound of the wind as it starts to build in intensity, and they can feel the heat rising as if they are walking into an oven. The sand on the ground starts to move in swirling patterns, and the players notice small dust devils spinning off in the distance.
Aisha is the first to notice, but it is soon evident that a sand storm will soon be upon the party. Off in the distance is a massive swirling sand storm bearing right toward the party
Kasbis says to Duncan and Aisha, “Quick, behind this rock! Squat down on the ground, cover your eyes, nose and mouth, wait till it passes. Keep the rock to your back. Duncan, you know what to do! I’m going into my special place, hang on and I’ll be out shortly!” With that, as many times in the past, Kasbis hands his ring to Duncan and disappears inside of it, to his secret refuge to wait out the storm.

Duncan grabs the ring and shoves it into his pocket and then runs towards the rocks motioning for Aisha to follow. Once there he does his best to tuck into any crevice and pulls his desert cloak up over the both of them.
Seeing Kasbis disappear into the ring causes Aisha to pause in wonder until Duncan picking it up and pocketing it like it's nothing out of the ordinary snaps her to awareness. She tucks into the rock with Duncan covering up as Kasbis had said.
The roar of the wind is deafening as grains of sand assault the party getting sand into every crevice. With each gust the sand hammers against your bodies though the worst of it is fended off by the boulder. Nearby you can hear a boulder be lifted into the air by the might of the sand storm. Then there is a crash as the dilapidated house collapses with several wooden planks lifted into the air.
Kas gathers their bodies and brings them back to prepare the meat for their journey, taking stock of their supplies.

By now you have a healthy stock of supplies enough for a week.
Aisha sees all that was hunted and collected, "Wow you must really know this area well. Shall we set off to find this Willoughby and his daughter?"

Waiting for Duncan
((do we all need to roll perception?))
Duncan follows along, also keeping his eyes out for further dangers, now aware that these deserts hold many unknown threats.
