Obsben's eyes went a little wide for a second, then narrowed as she turned away rubbing her chin in further thought. Yet despite herself, she'd turn again to Ellison with a look of mild disbelief at the man's claim about being secretive. Yet seeing, however, that trying to call the man's bluff served no purpose, she'd instead start to go back to studying her book. "Wouldn't no for certain myself, but wouldn't hurt to look into her whereabouts all the same."Obby replied quietly to Graxx.

As most CRAPers begin to elaborate on a couple of tangents regarding the Emerald Enclave and Lord Witchthorn (tangents from Ellison's perspective, that is), Ellison looks around and, with confidence in his helpfulness building and hopes of freedom flaring, he continues to share information. It is clear he doesn't know all the details of CRAP's previous mission: "These two other cultists, Tibeem and Spernik, joined me in Phlan, but I am not in communication with them anymore, given their public demise. You were asking for them, I remember. Was it your group that brought them down? If so, I guess you are developing a specialty in thwarting the Cult's plans. They were sent to learn about a lost temple somewhere in the Dragonspine Mountains, that much I know, but I don't know if they got that far. They tried to leave town but were caught. One of them was missing for a few days though, so maybe he completed his mission before being arrested a couple of days later."
"On the contrary, Spernik's mission fared no better," Neya corrects Ellison. "Evidently, the ruin he was investigating was not entirely abandoned by its previous inhabitants as was believed."
"Honestly, he was it was to his benefit we caught up to him."
"We are indeed becoming quite a thorn in the Cult's side it seems. We were indeed the group that brought them to justice." says Graxx.
Graxx turns back to the "secretive" huddle.
"Yes, the King Fey. Maybe they would be grateful we eliminated one of the dragon threats. They may even know where this Pool of Radiance could be as I'm sure they are ancient beings." says Graxx.
Obsben gives Neya a somewhat funny look. But if questioned even in a look back, she just waves it off and carries about her business. Tries to, in any event, but a nagging thought as her quite possibly repeating a previously asked question after responding to Graxx word with a wide eyes and an eager nod. "... *ahem*... And you really have no idea of other agents in town? Or interest beyond this pool?" She asks of Ellison. "Or if not agents then, hmm... perhaps other allies the cult has courted in town or from locales nearby?" She asks of Ellison.

Ellison can't help but nod along as Neya and Graxx confirm his suspicions. That said, it seems the scribe has little more to add regarding Spernik and Tibeem apart from some repetitive comments: "I was unsure as to whether or not they had met with success; we were ordered not to speak to one another about our respective missions."
Next, he listens to Obsben's re-asked question and replies: "As I said, I was treated as a simple lackey. I was told the minimum necessary to complete my mission. I responded solely to Rythnax. I don't doubt the Cult still has some presence in Phlan, but I am not knowledgeable of it."
So the cult is operating in cells, then? Makes sense, one fails it can't bring down the others, they can operate independently and if CRAP find and neutralise one, it does nothing to blunt the others. Seems like it's working too. Spernik and Tibeem had no idea Ellison was part of the same organisation, it makes sense that Ellison doesn't have anything further to add.
If CRAP are to really do some damage against the cult, likely they need to find the spider sitting at the centre of their web of operatives. They killed Rythnax, so really, they need to know who the dragon reported to...
"I doubt we're going to get much more tonight. If Ellison is telling us the truth, then we know all they know, if not, then I'm sure there interested parites back in Phlan who would like to have a little chat. Anyway, I suggest we turn in for the night, we've a long slog back to Phlan tomorrow."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Obsben "Mmhmms~" and nods in agreement. "Indeed. A chat with us, to be more exact. So fear not little Elly." She assured the man, but would almost just as quickly shot Utar and the others a warning stare not to correct her. "But of course seeing as once we're refreshed we might have more questions for you, and frankly it would be more safer for you anyways, least something terrible snatches you up in the dark, you'll be staying with us for at least one more night." She further explained to the man, and would conjure a mage hand to pat him on the shoulder.
"Though again with respect for your talents, you'll be gagged once more. Sorry for the inconvenience. But at least come the morrow it'll be the least of yours. Sounds nice, yes?"She said, giving Ellison one of more customary eerie smiles. Once he seemed agreeable, Obsben either motions for Neya to re-gag the man or does so herself if noone else once it became clear noone else had further questions for the night. After which, she'd settle in to her own nook within the dome to rest for the evening until her watch came about.

Neya nods as she gags Ellison for the night, while also making sure his bonds are tight enough to secure, but not enough cut off blood to his hands and feet.
@Graxx: By the time you are left alone to look over the camp on behalf of the team, the sun has already set. Obsben's trick helps you relax, knowing that the spell will keep the space's occupants safe. This allows you to focus on the world beyond and your watch is quite vigilant. Apart from the expected noises from the wild, little catches your attention as being dangerous.
@Neya: Your watch comes next and, even as tired as you are, you are able to self-assess and conclude that you could be doing a better job. You forget to blink a few times, letting yourself stare blankly into the distance. You are lost in thought and can't remember the entirety of your watch. Eventually you call it a night and ask your half-orc companion to take over. Reassuringly, everything at the camp looks like it should, so maybe all is fine after all.
@Utar: Your main concern is Ellison, not what beast might visit you during the night or who might still travel along the road at this late hour. Thankfully, none of the latter options come to pass. For a couple of hours, it is just you and the starry sky. It is all quite beautiful. Ellison continues to behave as he said he would. He is deeply asleep and his bindings/gag have not been messed with.
@Obby: You wake up early to continue to study your new spellbook. It doesn't seem to have any more secrets beyond the ones you have already unveiled. Sourpuss busies himself with the watch proper and seems to do a better job than Salty Bottom usually does, albeit not by much. The winged feline creature spots a few small field rodents as the sun begins to crest over the horizon. This is as exciting as your watch gets.
Morning at camp goes as expected. The group finds a creek to refresh themselves and refill their skins, they break their fast with travel sundries and rations, and unpacking camp is easier than normal giving its magical nature. Ellison seems better rested. His overall demeanor is still gloomy, but he has a bit of a "did-I-do-a-good-job" look in his eyes.
(OOC: Is there anything the group would like to do before heading back to Phlan?)
By the time sun truly arose over the horizon, Obsben had already saw to a few of morning preparations. Though without a closer look at the slight lack of luster to one of two rings she'd been wearing for a time, odds are it would go unnoticed by most in the party; especially when one considers the group's sociable, but not necessarily friendly company ever in need of watching out for. Sourpuss, being of like mind or more than likely mentally bid to do so, is certainly one pair of eyes ever on the man. Meanwhile, Obsben spent the better part of breakfast and other morning preparations sharing a recounting of yesterday's battle, but with more embellishments and highlights given in places, further reaffirming the parties prowess and bolstering spirits with the supposed 'rough draft' of events she'd wanted to share, before inevitably needing to recount the story again to clients and allies alike later the same day. (Inspiring Storyteller used)
"Hmm~ That reminds me that I need to make a call. But just so you know, our dear friend Money Bags and the Iron Maiden will be expecting us at your home this morning everyone, by the way. In case I forgot to mention this sooner." Obby tells everyone before stepping off to the side with a hand to her throat. But after maybe a minute or so, she returns to the group ready to carry on back to Phlan... except there's one other enchantment she'd weave in a brief but further bolstering rhyme meant more for herself, Sourpuss, and Utar.
Morning Prep: -Cast (6th level Aid) on Self, Sourpuss, and Utar. -If allowed the time(which assuming between breakfast and other sundries it would be possible), granting everyone(exlcuding Ellison) 15 Temp HP with Inspiring Storyteller -Cast (3rd level Sending to Harper. See spoiler below for message)

Obsben stops everyone to let them know she'll be casting a few spells before the walking resumes.

-> Sending: Response from Harper in spoiler below.
"You are a hoot! Glad to hear about your success. Will hear more details when you can share them. Did you make copies of intel?"
(OOC: I am a bit tight on time today so this will have to be quite the dry post. Anything else in terms of preparations? I also need a volunteer to roll a plain d20 luck check, please.)
Obsben clicks her tongue and shook her head; and yet, with a smile of amusement dancing at the edge of her lips, she'd cast one more spell and wait for a response before rejoining the party ready to move on, if though with a more distracted look on her face.
"A tidbit, mostly. Rest require more time, but can potentially be done from memory in a pinch. If desired, come to morning meeting at Craps budenski."

"Hmmm. Very well. I'll see you then later this morning." (Or "in the morning" should the second casting be performed before the rest.)
After Utar confirms that Ellison's bindings and gags are still firm and in place, the group finally continues their trek towards Phlan. The skies are clear, much clearer than they have been in recent days. The vegetation is of a crispier green as you get farther away from the swampy region, and the natural smells in the air are less aggressive and acrid. A few hours worth of a springy hike are all that is needed to arrive back at home-base.
The gates into the city are open and security is no more strict than it has been over this long period of martial law. The Black Fist guards at the gate confirm that you have no trade goods to be taxed, but do inquire about the bound and gagged person you are bringing along: "And who's this?"one asks. "Someone that should be delivered at the garrison?" Another follows up?
"I don't think so..." Neya ponders. "I only remember her saying that she owes Lord Witchthorn a favor."
"Which reminds me... We need to meet with him sometime soon."
