As the conversation winds down, Runara smiles at the chatter between your group. Keeliel is directed to the one available room where Tomas gear was placed. It won’t be very comfortable for the three of you, but should have enough space for you each to find some rest. (If that’s not to your liking you are welcome to sleep in the open air temple with Tomas)
As Keeliel stomps off, (presumably towards the kitchen?) Runara adds, “We don’t really have a hot bath available here. But I could see if any of the kobolds are willing to give a massage.” She’s barely containing a smile. A bell can be heard ringing in the distance. “Ah, that means dinner is ready.” She looks at Tomas, “I’ll have a plate brought up for you if you don’t feel ready to move about on your own.”
For those that choice to partake, dinner is a simple meal. Comprising mainly of fish and whatever vegetables can be grown in the various plots. Not particularly flavorful, but filling nonetheless. The kobolds continue asking any who attend and incessant amount of questions until eventually Runara gently reminds them to ‘let our guests eat their meal’
Retiring to wherever you desire to rest for the evening you eventually find sleep. (Everyone get a long rest. If you wish to rp with anyone during dinner feel free to do so. If you would like to do something else let me know that as well)
Keeliel finds herself beset by curious kobolds as she tries to eat, until eventually she mumbles to herself and gestures and they find that their food gets cold, or starts tasting bad, or starts to smell terrible. She tries very hard to drive them away without having to tell them to go, until finally Runara saves her. She fails to look grateful.
In the room, she will happily exit for the temple where Tomas is, though she will ignore him, too, as much as she is able. She. Will study her books, and when it is time to sleep, she will fold herself into a quiet position and enter a trance for four hours. Coming out of it, she will return to her books.
(I’m going to play with her spell loadout now, though at this level there isn’t much to choose from in her book.)
edit: just unprepared Sleep (useless on zombies) and prepared Magic Missile, no other changes.
Pilo also tears into his meal, saying little until he finishes. He gives Tomas an update on the fight after Tomas went down, sheepishly including his own killing (re-killing?) blows with the sword and bow. He does include Keeliel's medicinal intervention.
"It must be nice to have gods calling you to something. I feel a bit rudderless, though it seems like there are things to do here,"he says when the talk turns to purpose. Pilo seems happy to duck any purpose or responsibility, though he does not shy from the task at hand.
He retires after repairing his own arrows he retrieved on the beach, and asking about any spare arrows the temple might have seen.
It sounds like a good fight,Tomas says ruefully. I'm sorry to have missed it. Perhaps the Gods are calling, but you haven't heard it yet. Many don't. But this is a good place to start. It's probably not something to force though. Perhaps we can explore this place and do good, and see what happens.
Is Tomas aware of being ignored by Keeliel? With a roll of 8 for Insight, I'm guessing not. He rests, and begins to move a little more, feeling better as the evening goes on. He's very glad of a full night's sleep though, and being in a small space with others doesn't bother him. He eats heartily, and is glad to answer the kobolds' questions.
(So Tomas slept in the bedroom with the others? Even better, as far as Keeliel is concerned, she has the temple to herself.)
Dawn is barely breaking when Keeliel slams the door to the bedroom open. She waves her hand and mutters, and all the candles in the room flare to life, chasing away the darkness. "Time to go," she says unceremoniously. Another wave, and the warm blankets get decidedly colder. If the group delays (it's been less than thirty seconds) a ghostly hand appears and begins pulling covers off. Once everyone is suitable awake, she turns on her heel and marches off towards the dining hall.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Keeliel spends some time before resting preparing which spells she thinks she’ll need for the day ahead. Pilo is directed to see to talk Myla about acquiring more arrows.
(assuming Pilo does so)
You follow the Kobold back down the path towards the cells you passed earlier in your way up. She pops into the third room with a quickly muttered, “just a minute”. What follows is a series of loud crashing and banging sounds and a muffled “ow, I really need to organize this better.”
She returns with 7 arrows. “I found these. Hopefully they will help?” She offers Pilo the arrows in one hand and holds out the other clearly expecting some form of payment. Though she hasn’t said what she’s expecting for payment.
(Keeliel if you would kindly give me a charisma roll. I’ll let you decide if one of the skills applies to her ignoring Tomas to see if he picks up on it.)
(Hm, I suppose the Aloofness skill might be Deception or Performance or Intimidation, all of which Keeliel has a -1 on for poor Charisma... so I'll just choose Intimidation, since she's more comfortable alone and her aloofness is a front put on to intimidate people to go away...)
Intimidation (in game log): 16

Pilo looks into his mostly-empty bag, sighs, and pulls out one of his gold pieces. He also takes out an arrow he wasn't able to repair. "Thank you? Thank you."he says, handing the coin and the broken arrow over, and then examining the arrows he's given. If any need work, he'll spend time repairing and tweaking them. He realizes he's overpaid but he's also been shown hospitality so he's fine with it, despite his lack of resources.
He prepares to leave, wiping sleep from his eyes and adjusting wild red hair. He looks at Keeliel, marveling at how easily she uses magic, and telling himself he's glad she's on his side. He thinks.
(He's not going to tell Tomas about how Keeliel came and got her hands all bloody trying to stop Tomas' bleeding?" 😁 )

Myla gives a slight bow in thanks. Taking both the gold piece and the broken arrow and disappears back into her room/workshop.
