Tommy hits the water and swims over to Hadrian to ensure 1 he is not drowned by his armor and 2 to ensure they stuck together. Once linked up he gives in to the current till they get to a point they can get to shore 

Tommy and Hadrian wash up on a river bed at the bottom of a cliff. The sides are steep but seem climbable. 

Well what ya think climb? Not sure I want to take my chances trying to float down river to a better point though I guess that is an option. 

Jetsam trotted at a quick pace downriver, keeping an eye out for his Allies. Perception:8

Hadrian did his best acting like a log being swept by the river being ridden by a drowned rat, which was easy because his body ached like crazy and he could not move.

After some time the pain subsided and his motor functions returned. He first gave a flutter kick to keep himself afloat.

Hold on to my shoulder my friend and lets survive this together. With your bond with Jerry, He should be able to track you easily so Jetsam should be able to find us.

With a 16 and Jerry's help Jetsam arrives at the top of the cliff a few minutes later. 

Heyyyyy down here git something to toss down will ya.

Jetsam stepped to the edge of the cliff. “That’s the plan!” He tied his rope and Hadrian’s rope together, tied one end to a tree, and tossed the other end down toward them. 

Hadrian received the bottom end of the rope and tied it to Tommy, He then started to climb up. With the cliff wall as a brace Hadrian should be able to get to the top with no problems. 

He grunts as the pain from the earlier fall and being waterlogged take him over.

Since there is no since of urgency we take our time and climb to the top. Hadrain slips a little but makes it to the top. Working together Jetsam and Hadrain hoist Tommy up to the top.

The party makes its way to the road. After another half mile or so the party walks into a small camp. There is half a dozen or so tents and people milling about.

Tommy knows this to be a hunting camp.

Jetsam looked to the others. He didn’t have anything he really needed to say to him, so he gestured that he’d let them take care of the interaction. 

Tommy turns to the others.

Seems like a safe place to rest and see if these fellas know where the clock tower is.

OOC: long rest. I'm going to dish out experance from day 1 here in a bit about to start my kids night ritual. We will do the treasure at the end

OOC-Sweet sweet. 

Jetsam nodded. “Seems like a good idea.” And doffed his chainmail, unbuckled his wea-while keeping them close to hand- and unrolled his bedroll, promptly going to sleep. 

Hadrian did not bother responding. He just sat down and was soon snoring 

OOC: day 1 exp is 785 each. If Muriel comes back she gets 125 xp.

Tommy seeing the other two pass out, he will talk with the hunters and try and get a better feel of the area, in hopes of tracking down the tower quickly.

Charisma I guess: lol nat 1. Too tired Tommy falls asleep mid sentence. 

After 8 hours or so one of the hunters wakes up the party explaining he can hear the tower off in the distance 

Phase one "the first step is done" phase 2 "the hunt for the tower has started"

I finished my long rest. What about you two??

Hadrian woke in a daze, the pain on his spine from sleeping seated permeated on his body as he stretches. He looks around for his friends and found Jetsam still in his bedroll and a halfling sleeping with a finger held up mid-sentence.

"Aye, I am rested. Not that it makes any difference, we could still crush skulls yesterday as well as today. hehe"

OOC-I mean irl and in game)

Jetsam slipped out of the bedroll, answering with nothing but an “Aye.” He proceeded to don his mail, then weapons, then re-rolled his bedroll and packed it away. 
“Which direction from here?” He asked, after chewing on a bit of jerky and taking a drink from his water skin. 

"Lets wait for Tommy to finish his sentence then we will ask. With my map, I know where we are from, but not where we are going."

Hadrian opens his pack and grabbed his waterskin. He drank a few big gulps and stood up.

I will look for a way to refill the skins. toss me yours.

Jetsam complied, re-stoppering it and tossing it to Hadrian.
