OOC - As per player's request, I will be posting Rook's turn, an echo of his previous one.
Rook dodges around the massive creature's body, trying to get yet another firm hit on it's tattered flesh. Glowing wings still translucent and bright on his back, the great sword he wields strikes down at the Zombie and attempts yet another deep cut! His inexperience with the tumult of energy that so recently transformed him causes his blade to go excessively wide and strike the deck with a *thud!*, embedding it firmly (Loses next attack). *New Round!*
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar

While not an effective monster so far, it does prove durable, taking the bolts of magical force solidly, yet still battling on!

Once the three have been affected by the aid she used last round, Sal returns to the fight properly and calls upon the power of The Weave, "Mystra, guide my hands." She prays as she releases a Ray of Frost at the ogre zombie.
Ray of Frost vs. Ogre Zombie:14Damage:5 cold, and speed is decreased by 10 feet until the end of its next turn.
Both the freezing magic and the mundane weapon are able to make contact with the creature, it's unnaturally animated flesh torn and frozen by the attacks. Still able to move and attack, it continues to combat Rook and his dark blade. It is not looking so good, however, even considering it's fresh from the grave initial condition.
OOC - Bruz may be the lucky finisher!

After Rook misses and the ogre strikes back with two ham fisted blows that would have seriously hurt the lad if they had connected, Bruz curses. He darts in, intent on finishing the creature with a stabbing blow from his shortsword, leaving his sword embedded in the creature, and a roundhouse kick to the sword's pommel to drive it deeper.
Bruz's sword runs the creature through and the mighty kick is enough to send it out the other side, tattered remains splashing the wood of the ship. It totters for a moment, then stands back upright, swinging down on Rook once more!
Right Hand Attack: 21 Damage: 5
Left Hand Attack: 8 Damage: 7
It's mighty fist connects solidly on the transformed boy and pound a nasty bruise into his arm! The undead's latest blow scatters pieces of flesh all over the Aasimar's body as more of it's decay breaks down.
OOC - Rook's turn - all he has to do is sneeze. With force.

In the interest of keeping this going (The player is still on vacay until tomorrow):
Rook feverishly battles the monster, trying to get in the final blow that will return the undead to it's resting state!
Attack: 13 Damage: 17
With a mighty blow, his black sword rips through the remnants of it's body and divides it into two messy halves! The Ogre Zombie falls to the floor in pieces and mere moments later, a bright red flash is easily seen among the wooden debris, glowing brightly, then vanishing. Upon investigation, the group finds a red scorch-like mark in the shape of a diamond, burned into the floor and fragments of wood nearby.

Bruz claps Rook on the back with a laugh, "Good job, lad! That sword should have its fill now; it wanted undead and that's the biggest damned undead I ever saw! Speaking of, how the Nine Hells did these even get down here? This stinks of magic, Greybeard, Bluedame, this is your show now!" He says to the two magic users. Leaning down to pick up his shortsword, he thinks better of it when he sees, and smells, the putrid offal on it, "And where is Frenzle? I'll not be picking that up until he uses some of that handy cleaning magic on it. He'll thank be later when his food doesn't have chunks of that floating in it." That said, he walks around the ship clearly looking for something and just as obviously ignoring the magical mark in the floor. "I know the barrels were loading somewhere around here...." He says softly to himself, searching the hold for the two barrels he stowed to ensure they were undamaged in the commotion.
OOC - for determination of damage to Bruz's personal possessions, roll a simple d20. A 1 or 2 and lost that many barrels. Cargo damage was approximately 10% of the total shipment, which will be calculated after port sales.

"Ah, here they are!" Bruz says as he spots two undamaged barrels amongst the cargo. "Don't worry lads, they're alright!" He yells back to the injured sailors as he indicates the barrels of ale.
Very visibly hurt by their encounter with the heavy fists of the undead, they will need plenty of healing - either magical or mundane - before they will be able to work again. The Mate gathers up various sailors and puts them to work, helping to manage the injured up into the healer's quarters, and clearing and inventorying the damage.

Sal begins to tend to their wounds, starting with a 1st level Cure Wounds for each of them. She'll then tend to their needs in a more mundane way (hopefully letting them rest for a while in the same way PCs spend hit dice. She can use her healer's kit if required for anything else.)
Cure Wounds: Heal 8 and 10 hit points respectively.

"Good show everyone. How do these blasted things keep appearing inside the ship???"
Carolinas knows they're in good hands with Sal, so he will investigate the diamond-like scorch mark and for any clues on how these monsters are appearing in the cargo hold.
