Garth laughs out loud, "Aye. The flying knights. They, too, attacked us. We killed a few and captured the last. Let the idiot go, but I doubt they'll give us a friendly reception when next we meet."
He shakes his head and watches as the priest leaves then turns to the others at the table. "Not much to go on, but at least we know where to start, and where the trail might be a little warmer."
Kalhiri sighs for spending another night in an inn, but happily wolves down the supper before retiring. Next morning, she gets up early noting that Fadi is already up, too. “Morning! You’ve got up early, can’t wait to hit the road? I’m really hoping we find some clue today.”

Orchards and large cattle ranches surround the little town of Beliard. Large stockyards lie on the east side of town, and stone warehouses along the the Dessarin Road indicate the regular caravan traffic that passes through.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Me neighter. Looks like a fine place, tho." While the others look for our immediate objective, Fadi will keep his eyes open to anything different. Be it a magic store, an interesting temple, people with foreign clothes or so on.
The Watchful Knight is the largest building, business and inn in Beliard. It stands at three stories tall, obviously being build up as the business grew, the stone and woods being noticeably different. Fadi, at the very edge of town, you find a small shack, originally painted in bright colors that have faded to more muted shades over time. You think it is a residential house first, but a small sign next to it reads "Gladdy's Glorious Emporium: Scrolls and Trinket Shop"

Garth pauses and shrugs, "Go for it lad," he says, keeping a watchful eye on the street.
Pyre-Winder gave Garth the nastiest side-eye before realising that he likely mean't nothing by it, though younger than Garth by a fair number of years he was well into his elder years as an Aarakokra.
" No time like the present."
Pyre-Winder moved up to the shopfront and headed inside.
Kalhiri remains outside with Garth, leaning against the shack's wall, "I wonder if we will find any clues in this town. They disappeared on their way to their next destination after all."

"Yup, I'm up for taking the road again." Fadi states.
Pyre-Winder is shaken awake when Garth bursts into laughter, " Ah, excellent. A decision has been reached."
Garth shakes his head slowly then draws a long breath, "Aye. Seems we depart in the morning, then."
He finishes his drink and meal then retires to his room to get a long rest.
Fadi starfishes in his bed, barely taking out his armor. He wakes up early, though, quite refreshed.

Pyre-Winder flutters down from his early morning flight, his old muscles slightly looser.
" I might stick to the ground today, makes things simpler."
(( Weren't we going to Beliard? ))
(I think so, that is that we are on the way to Beliard. Sounds like this tower is at the entrance to The Dessarin Valley? Is that right?)

"I've been feeling like an early bird, the last few weeks..." Fadi answers Kalhiri. He then turns to Pyre-winder: "No pun intended"
Garth surveys the scene, trying to take in the overall structure of the town and looking for what might pass for a centre, and perhaps contain an inn.
"I guess it's time to get a place to stay and ask about the delegation, eh?"
He pauses and turns to the others, "Any of you lot been here before?"
"Can't say I have," responds Kalhiri. Then, she looks around for a local to ask directions to the town's largest inn or tavern.

" Me neither."
" Shall we question Gladdy?"

"We may get more info about who they were, at least" Fadi answers Kalhiri, before sprinting a bit to join Pyre-Winder into the store.
