As shown in the last battle, See Invisibility will be a beautiful counter to that. I know that we know that we want to watch the "mage" group battle it out.
1) I will play as RAR unless the DM says otherwise.
2) IF you shoot or attack, until you take the hide action I know where you are and will shoot back. It doesn't matter if you move or not.. You location is known. That is it.
(Apologies for the delay my daughter and I bought caught the flu! Where on the map are you starting?) Kosmir takes his place 100ft towards the center of the map and looks to locate his foe (assuming I see you and your within 240 ft) He begins his spell bombardment:
wait, no, eldritch blast should be dealing 4d10, remember? Cantrips scale! Also, the critical hit makes that 8d10. (ouchie barbarian, that's an average of 44 force and that'll be 17 radiant!)
OK, so that's a miss with the guiding bolt, so no advantage on the eldritch blast. Since you rolled a 3 and then a 20, that means it missed as well. No damage this round.
I'm not sure how far apart we are. Reggie rages and begins running toward Kosmir.
bonus: rage
movement: 40 feet
action: dash another 40 feet
DM, let me know how far apart we are so I know how many rounds it's going to take to get within melee range.
I was 200ft away if possible plus my 30ft of movement so I ended 230 ft away. With your 80ft of movement that means we're still 150ft away. So I'm actually going to use my bonus action to quicken spell Haste and my action to cast Eldritch blast. Now if Allowed to use two actions for spells after I've hasted myself, I'd do a second eldritch blast so I'll roll both. I'll let the group decide what is fair since I know the spell states weapon attacks only, but I've seen spells allowed at certain tables as well totally fine with either call.
Attack one: Attack: 19 Damage: 21
Attack two: Attack: 12 Damage: 22
I then use my movement (Now 60ft) to move to 210 feet away from my foe.
BTW, the reason it didn't scale on your character sheet is that you make four separate attacks, and roll all the damage only if each one hits. It's still just one action to do so, but four attack rolls.

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
And that us Red Reggie vs Cosmir!

Do we get a prep round? Aka can I have my mage armor prepped? If not that’s fine ofc.
Yeah.

Gotta love getting roll manipulation errors on a post that hasn't been edited. The result was a 19, so you're up, Kosmir.

(It’s not scaling on my character sheet. Perhaps because it’s from the spell sniper feat?) additional damaged rolled 7d10:

You guys can decide. You have to start at least 100 feet away, with a maximum of 300.

Yeah I dunno having Haste for spells feels kinda OP xD
Discord play-by-post lover. Hater of westmarches. Just gimme some character driven gameplay please.
For sure that's why I left it up to the group and rolled just in case there was the chance of it being acceptable lmao
The wording of haste staight up says
" That action can be used only to take the Attack (one weapon attack only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action"
Even hasted fighters only get 1 extra weapon attack and not a whole nother set of attacks
