Stone gasps at the pain caused by the Mephit's tiny deadly claws.
"You shall not pass." He yells as he drives the flat of his long sword onto the head of the most injured, but still conscious, Mephit with a non-lethal strike.
The final Mephit falls into unconsciousness. The party is able to secure each Steam Mephit into its own cage before they wake up. Once they do awaken, the magic cages easily contains the creature’s powers. The party is able to return to the airship without incident.
The captain has repaired the damage to the Mephit Steam Room. He takes the cage and dumps the Mephits in through hole and laughs as they fly around and try to escape. The captain looks at them and mutters under his breath, “God I hate these little shits.” He turns to the party and asks, “Did they cause you any trouble?” He frowns. “Did they kill anything?”
The captain looks at the Mephits, “I don’t know, are we ready you little jerks?”
The Mephits use their powers to blast steam at the captain, but the magics in place around the room merely absorb the attack and the party hears the engines sputter to life. The captain gives a cheer and gives each member of the party a hardy handshake as he thanks them for the help getting his ship running. He asks them to wait up on the deck as he runs downstairs for a few minutes. He comes walking back up with a few rewards for the party.

4x Bottled Mephit Essence
This magical jar look to be filled with rapidly churning smoke. The edge of the bottle always feels wet, but there is never any liquid present. You may use your action to throw one of these bottles at a point within 30 ft. When the bottle collides with a solid object, it shatters and explodes out with a burst of hot steam. All creatures within 10ft of the point of impact must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d8 Fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. As the bottle expoldes, you can hear the distinct laugh of a mephit ring through the air.
Cloak of the Accident Prone
This billowing black and green cloak hangs almost to the floor, no matter your height. Whenever you experience a fall of more than 20 ft, this cloak automatically balloons outward and slows your fall to a gentle descent adn prevents all fall damage. Once this effect has triggered, it will not occur again until dawn of the next day.
The captain informs the party that it will be a few hours until they dock in Sala, so you can all retire to your rooms until them.
Stone feels stronger and more experienced, but in need of some reflection and sleep. He goes to his room, collapses on the cushy fancy bed provided, and dreams of monsters made of wood and steam and the best ways he can defend himself from them.
OOC: Cool, I got Cunning Action. Just FYI, I'm going to be trying to hide a lot more to get an advantage. The rule is Stealth check vs their Wisdom, right?
(Natasha retires to her quarters to get some well deserved rest, as well as handle her exfoliation and beauty regimen. She covers her face in cold cream, puts on a sleep mask to block out the light and takes a beauty nap.)
Jacob gives a haggard salute to the captain, thanks him for the gold, takes one of the mephit vials and lets the others fight over the cloak (though he'll happily take it if no one else is particularly attracted to it) and heads to his cabin.

(You can still continue your conversation about who gets the cloak, but I want to set up this next part.)
By the time you finish your long rest, the patched airship is approaching the great Lon city of Sala. The massive walled city is filled with towers and buildings of a unique, elven style. As the sun slowly sets, the damaged airship limps into an elevated port in a tower many stories above the city.
Captain Jorr Scarfang thanks the party one last time before they disembark. “I can’t thank you lot enough, we would still be stuck in that damn forest if it wasn’t for you.” He waves a final farewell before returning to his duties.
As soon as the party disembarks they are approached by a sharply dressed elf in a dark blue tunic. He bows stiffly to the party. “Greetings, I am Tial. I was instructed to meet you when the Lady Of Arcadia arrived, but that was this morning. Seeing the state of the airship, I understand why you were delayed. If you will follow me, I will take you immediately to the master.”
He turns on his heels and walks quickly from the elevated dock and to a wide spiral staircase inside the tower that leads down to the ground floor.
Jacob puts away the crossbow (I think I only had the one modded bolt) unsheathed Butter and tries for a non-fatal blow on the closest mephit:
