Penelope: Your Ice Knife has immaculate aim and you nail the kobold in the shoulder. On cue, it explodes into icy shrapnel of death.

Kobold 18 Dex Saving Throw: 11

Kobold 19 Dex Saving Throw: 19

Kobold 20 Dex Saving Throw: 21

The explosion decimates the kobold you struck, but misses the other two.

Natasha, your turn.

(Natasha rushes at the Kobold that is next to Jacob and attacks with her sword.)

Attack: 6 Damage: 9 + 10

(She then stands between Jacob and the Kobolds.)

Natasha: You run to Jacob's side and swing at the kobold next to him, but the kobold is able to parry the attack. You then try to put yourself between Jacob and the kobold, but you are all so close together that it could still attack around you.

OOC: Let me know if you want me to place you in a different square. If not,

Jacob, you're up.

Jacob mumbles an incantation to himself while wincing from the pain, and his wounds begin to knit themselves together, if only marginally...

9 - Bonus Action Blood Maledict Healing, 1/short rest

Then stands, grunts, grimaces and gives out a yell as he swings at the closest kobold:

Attack: 11 Damage: 7

(OOC: sigh, maybe gramps here should have just invested in a rocking chair and a porch. Also, by my records, I have him at 10hp now.)

Jacob: You invoke a blood curse and magical heal yourself.

You swing one of your scimitars at the nearest kobold but it dodges to the side. It looks at you and says, "Surely you didn't think that would hit me?"

You stare back at it and reply, "We'll stop you all...and don't call me Shirley."

Penelope: Suddenly the door behind you swings open and a kobold emerges! It attacks you with its dagger.

Kobold 15 vs Penelope: Attack: 23 Damage: 5

The kobold thought it got the best of you, but you backpedal enough to avoid its dagger.

Natasha: One of the kobolds stabs at you with its dagger.

Kobold 19 vs Natasha (pack tactics): Attack: 23 Damage: 4

                                                                   Attack: 12 Damage: 6

The kobold's dagger leaves a long gash on your thigh.

Jacob: The kobold you were just trading barbs with slashes at you with its dagger.

Kobold 20 vs Jacob (pack tactics): Attack: 10 Damage: 4

                                                               Attack: 22 Damage: 5

The kobold manages to slash your arm, but you've taken worse hits.

Penelope: You hear foot steps running southwest of you and when you turn your head south to determine the source, you see a half-elf coming out of one of the open doors.

Natasha and Jacob: The human scout that ran into the room to the north pokes his head out of the room and fires two arrows at you.

(multiattack)

Scout 2 vs Natasha: Attack: 18 Damage: 7

Scout 2 vs Jacob: Attack: 13 Damage: 8

After his two shots miss, he runs back into the northeast room.

Stone, you're up.

Stone moves up in front of Kobold 19 to attack.

As he swings his sword at the kobold he yells at the kobolds in general "your mothers were stomach crawling lizards" in a bid to taunt them off of his companions.

Atk = 11

Damage = 5

Stone: You swing on the kobolds. You can tell by the looks on their faces that they did not appreciate your comment about their mothers. The kobold you attacked hisses at you and jumps out of your sword's path.

Penelope, you're up.

Penelope will reach out an attempt to shock the kobold beside her with shocking grasp .

Attack: 25 Damage: 4

Penelope: You reach out and grab the kobold next to you. The electric current you send through it causes it to spasm and twitch, nearly killing it. It coughs up some blood, but it's still ready to fight.

Natasha, your turn.

OOC: Are either Kobolds 19 and 20 unhurt? I'd like to attack the least hurt one, or if equal, the strongest looking.

(Natasha takes her Shortsword and jumps at one of the Kobolds, attacking with finesse.)

Attack: 22 Damage: 8  + 3

Natasha: Your precision short sword attack decapitates the stronger looking of the kobolds. The remaining kobold feels very vulnerable.

Jacob, you're up.

Jacob grimaces from the pain of his remaining wounds, but darts north of the Kobold 11 (3 up, 2 left) hoping to gain an advantage by flanking the creature. He mumbles to himself a bit as energy swirls around his right hand and an eldritch blast of amber energy bursts forth at the little reptile...

Attack: 19 Damage: 10

(ooc: sorry for any delays, traveling until next week - also, obv if we're not using flanking rules just take the first number.)

Jacob: Your amber blast nails the kobold, almost killing it. Both kobolds look barely clinging to life.

(OOC: I'm not that familiar with the flanking rules, so I haven't been using them, sorry.)

Penelope: The singed kobold next to you makes a last ditch effort to save its life.

Kobold 15 vs Penelope: Attack: 5 Damage: 4

Its frantic fear of death affected its aim and its attack misses without you even having to dodge.

Stone: The blasted kobold swings at you, since you're the closest and biggest target it can find.

Kobold 19 vs Stone: Attack: 20 Damage: 5

It finds a weak part of your armor and slides its dagger through.

Penelope: The half-elf scout to the south of you runs up and attacks you twice with his shortsword.

Scout 1 vs Penelope (multiattack): Attack: 9 Damage: 7

                                                              Attack: 23 Damage: 3

 Both sword strikes find their mark and you fall, knocked out.

Jacob and Natasha: The human in the room to the north pops out for a second, fires two arrows, blows Jacob a kiss, and ducks back into the room.

(multiattack)

Scout 2 vs Jacob: Attack: 23 Damage: 8

Scout 2 vs Natasha: Attack: 12 Damage: 5

 Neither arrow hits.

Stone, it's your turn.

(OOC: sorry didn't notice it was my turn until just now)

Stone slashes at the kobold in front of him.

Attack = 10

Damage = 7

Stone then runs down to where Penelope is lying prone. (the square just to the right of her straight down from his current position)

Stone: In a hurry to help your compatriot, you swing at the kobold in front of you and miss. You turn and run to help Penelope and the kobold notices you turned your back. It takes the opportunity to strike.

Kobold 19 vs Stone: Attack: 11 Damage: 4

The attack swishes by without making impact. You run to Penelope's side.

Penelope, make a Death Saving Throw.
