“Shh. I hear someone upstairs.” Blair says softly to others, looking up. It’s obvious there had been a fight in the tavern. The overturned tables and chairs, the deep gashes, and the flickering flames of the burning fire
He moves to the stairs and sees Eron almost got snared by a trap. Blair's heart skips a beat at the close call. He rushes to Eron's side and steadies him. "Careful, Eron," Blair whispers, his lake blue eyes scanning the area for any other traps. "What's going on here?”
Eron sees the rope as it is triggered and literally without a seconds thought backflips landing on all fours barely evading the snare. As Blair approaches for just a second Eron low growls, shakes his head, “What just happened? That rope nearly had me.” He stands up adjusts his gear. “Thank you Blair, I’m so worried about Apple right now I...”. Eron reaches in and takes out his totem, holding it near his heart.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“I understand.” Blair says, seeing Eron with his totem. “I’m sure Apple-Jack will be alright. He’s very spirited, like you. I have no doubt that he'll make it out of this unscathed, and we'll find him soon enough.” He says with a smile. "He might even give us a good bray for worrying too much."
“But the important thing is we figure this out together.” He continues. Looking up at the stairs, Blair looks for more possible traps.
Silf doesn't like seeing Eron in trouble, not one bit! Furthermore, she realizes that Apple-Jack is stuck outside, and that they've got no real way to check on him. Acting completely on feywild emotion, she steps near the bottom of the stairs and shouts, in a tiny but fierce voice: "Hey YOU up there! We know you're there, and judgin' by this here blockade of furniture, it's a good better you're not a zombie!"
"Please let us up so we can look down and see if our friends are outside," the fairy says sweetly, before quickly adopting a slightly deeper, more serious tone. "There's lots of us down here! Don't make me arcane blast my way up these stairs!"
((not sure if you want an intimidation or persuasion roll, but here they are for good measure! 12 It's the same bonus for either skill.))

If there's one thing Nobriki is aching to do it's show off.
And he juuust so happens to have heard a nasty threat or two hanging around in the nastier part of the fey wild. It's not all rainbows and unicorns!
He steps up, elbows Silf with a wink, and shouts up the stairs to support Silf and help that conversation forward
"You know, us forest folk can be kinda finicky. For those who are kind and innocent we can be your best friend, but to anyone who attempts ill will upon us, we'll, we may just accidentally let loose a bit of that wild magic! Why I think I'll start practicing my most painful incantations right now! "
And then he will start mumbling magicky sounding words.

Blair you're sure that was the only trap crudely cast on the rubble blocking the steps that will take some time to clear the steps.
"Ah....anyone can heal down there," a distinctly young female voice shakily echos down the steps but the author isn't visible! "I need...healing," they say next. "I....I don't see anyone else outside who isn't already dead," she adds her tone exhausted.

As the young woman’s voice float down the stairs, Blair looks to others for reassurance, his heart softening. Then, he calls out, his voice gentle and smooth. “Yes, we have healing. And we’re not dead. Is it safe for us to come up? We wouldn’t want to run into another trap.”
"Only one trap and doesn't sound like it worked. I can't really move..." they trail off their voice distinctly faint at the tail end of her sentence!
The windows in the front of the tavern bordered over from the inside with only the faintest outside light shining through the gaps. The fireplace is still smoldering and there's plenty of candles and scones about to light. The rubble from the stairs can be cleared with some good old brute strength!

Outside the tavern the party here's a loud crack of thunder before the rain starts. The wind howls outside battering the tavern as a gust comes down the chimney as the noxious smell of whatever is smoldering fills the room!

Silf flutters up alongside Eron, pulling the tiny things she can manage out of the pile and giving him the help. "I'll help you, Eron! Apple-Jack will be okay, I just know it. Once we make it to the top, we'll be able to look down and see his cuteness!"
The little fairy smiles and punches the air. "And I can heal him! Not that he'll need it, but I can!"
