In the next round, Cariadne will lean out from behind the doorframe to take another crossbow shot at the devil, before ducking back behind it. She notices that the devil doesn't seem to be as affected by the attack as it should be, but she doesn't have anything else to try.
Attack: 13 Damage: 12 If Bart is still next to the devil, she uses Sneak Attack: + 4 damage.
The spine covered fiend tries to take a chomp out of Bart's shoulder, but he is protected by his armor. The devil's fork does strike a weak point, doing 5 points of piercing damage to Bart.
Everyone is up, but I'm gonna resolve Barbär and Marigold before Cariadne and Bart.
Cariadne's bolt strikes home, and Bart's followup slash decapitates the devil, which dissolves into a pool of black ichor before unnaturally evaporating.
Cariadne lets out a "Whew! That was unexpected. Uhh, it managed to hit me hard with those spines... can anyone help patch me up a bit? I'm sure I have something in my bag if not."
She looks over to the figure tied to the chair. "Hey -- who are you? Why are you tied up?"
Marigold, having not really been needed for the fight, stepped toward the small humanoid that was tied to the chair. Distracted by the fight that was just finishing she didn't hear the mumbling. She'd try and get a better look at them, talking in common loud enough to be heard. "Are you alright, there.....?"

(Let me know if the 5 damage took into account Bart's Heavy Armor Master feat, reducing bludgeoning, piercing, slashing damage by 3)
Bart tries a cross-slash this time, keeping the demon's attention as best he's able
