Cariadne rolls her eyes, muttering "More 'Kador' then..." before she steps into the room and goes to untie the small humanoid. 

Cariadne sees the halfling, the symbol of the Hearth of Anwyn around his neck, is tied to a chair facing a crystal orb flashing images of some kind. The halfling has some metallic braces on his eyes, prying his eyelids open and his head is tied so he can't look away, do you attempt to remove the braces from his eyes?

(Eek love the Clockwork Orange vibes!)

Cariadne gasps in sympathy and gets to work on the braces. (I'm guessing a sleight of hand roll here - 18 )

You carefully remove the braces and manage to drop them and avoid a nasty shock. The halfling falls unconscious and you untie him.

Cariadne crouches to support the halfling so he doesn't fall when he loses consciousness. "I shouldn't have begged for Babär's healing prowess earlier! Marigold? Are you able to help our small friend here?"

Bart keeps his sword at the ready. 

"You think that's the priest? There seems to be a lot going on here. Let's get him up and out of here. Maybe he'll be able to explain." 

"No, don't think twice about my healing. It is what it is currently. All we can do is get Brother Randall out of here. Theres no doubt this is him. Do you think there is more coming?" Barbär says as he rummages through his bag for his blanket, and lays it longways with the halfling, as to make a sling stretcher to safely carry him out, then gives a listen of the surrounding area

You don't hear anyone but your party down here.  Where do you take the halfling?

Marigold will take a moment to heal up the halfling, using a spellslot. (Cure Wounds[10 HP])

"I'm almost out with that---I could maybe muster one more, if need be."

The halfling awakens, screaming “GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!”  He runs over to the crystal orb and knocks it off it’s pedestal. It hits the stone floor where it cracks and grows dark.  He then turns to the party, saying, “I am Brother Randall of Anwyn, and I suppose I have you to thank for my rescue.”

While the others are patching up Brother Randall, Cariadne takes a look around the room for anything the bad guys may have left. investigation 7

The room is pretty bare.  Just the chair, the pedestal and (now cracked) orb, and a waste bucket.

Barbär takes the already out blanket and wraps it over the thing. "I'm glad to see you're still alive my friend. I'm Barbär Ferousmyth, and my party and I were tasked with finding you and two others, a hunter and the Undermayors daughter. We came here to talk to "Brother" Tobias, but he turned on us quickly. There were other things here as well that suggest dark magics here that may indeed be still affecting you. So lets get on out of here. Brother Randall, is this your room here?" Barbär points down the way to the room with the gold sacks and other items.

He says, "I'm fine, nothing is affecting me, I'm just weak." in a strained manner that lends you to not trust he is being honest. "Yes, that trap door leads to my chambers, the other to the altar."

Barbär turns his head to Bart and gives him the eyes and shakes his head like before with Tobias

Marigold, as it seemed the others had the questions handled and the search of the room, stood by the entrance to this small chamber with her hands ready to cast if any dangers pop up. It may only be a cantrip she's preparing, but just in case something else jumps from the shadows at the group, she's ready. 

"How long was I in here?"
