Fargrim enters the barracks behind Solastor and Arynn. He looks around the room with the eye of a soldier looking for ambush before heading off in the direction the unconscious goblin was fleeing.
Solastor is able to stem the bleeding for now and the the goblin is stable for now. When Fargrim enters the Barracks he notices the beds and the door on the far side next to which Solastor and Arynn are standing and the unconscious goblin is sprawled. It does not look like an ambush could be performed here, at least not with a cursory look.

Fargrim opens the door and heads through it. On the other side is a large antechamber to the left is a rather large portcullis with a dead Troll and some tied up goblins on the other side. To the right the chamber extends for about 100 feet before reaching a huge Iron door. The device for opening the portcullis is about 10 feet away and otherwise it seems to be a wide open chamber.

With the goblin stable, Solastor will leave the questioning to more inquisitive members of the party. He'll move and begin rifling through the chests again looking for any useful items.
"Your ransacking can wait until later. For now, stick to the mission."Arynn tells the others, wiping his blade clean of goblin and returning to finding the route to where the children are being held.
Heading back into the other room with the rest of the group behind him, Fargrim heads towards the Iron Door across from the portcullis. Waiting for everyone to gather behind him, he opens the door to see what awaits them.
Fargrim grabs the handle to the giant Iron door and pulls. But it does not budge because it is locked from the other side. It is a very strong door that looks to have been there for centuries.

Waiting only a split second for a reply, he turns around, letting up the portcullis and shaking awake one of the sleeping goblins tied up at the base. "How many ways are there out of this cavern?"
The goblin wakes with a start, disoriented at first, "there is only one entrance. You came through it. Please just let me go. Don't kill me." It pleads.

"There's no time for this." Arynn says, headed to the large doors. "I don't suppose one of the spellcasters here has something to help us get through this? Otherwise it's going to be a joint effort into raising the portcullis."
(Quick check DM, is there a gap where the portcullis should raise to that one could perhaps climb through to get to the other side? Just checking what the layout is like)
