(The goblins got a full movement so they are thirty feet away. Medicine checks are absolutely allowed).
Tharnak you recover your arrows, as they others either pursue the goblins or take care of your downed companion.
Aedel you fire an arrow after one of the goblins and strikes home. The blow is not fatal but it does stagger forward with a cry of pain.
Sinju you set to work to stabilise Carl. You remove the Bugbears javelin. Putting pressure on the wound you manage to stem the bleeding and see that his breathing starts to become more regular. Healing will be required to bring him around but for now he remains stable and unconscious as long as you keep pressure on the wound.
Neil you are up!
OOC: Following Neil's turn I will say that formal combat has ended as the goblins are no longer fighting, but anyone wishing to pursue and slay them is able.
Neil decides to try to finish off the goblins before they manage to escape... he uses his action to cast Magic Missile, and he uses his Bonus Action to strike at one of the fleeing goblins. He sends two beams of Magic Missile at the uninjured goblin, for 8 Force damage. The remaining Magic Missile beam he will hurl at the injured goblin, doing 2 Force damage. If one of the goblins goes down from the Magic Missile, he will target the one that's still standing with Tentacle of the Deep; if both are still standing after the barrage, he will prioritize dealing with the one that he just hit with two beams from Magic Missile.

(OOC: So, combat is over now? If so, I'll do the thing below.)
Aedel walks over to Carl. "That doesn't look good." If Sinju wasn't able to stabilize him, he will make a medicine check of 24 to try to help stabilize him. If Sinju succeeded, Aedel will tend to Carl's wounds instead.
Aedel looks around to make sure the attack is done. "That was unexpected." He says in a surprisingly casual voice. He then pulls out his lute and starts playing some soft, peaceful music, attempting to calm Carl as Aedel tries to stabilize him/tend to his wounds. Aedel is softly singing a song. Performance check 26.
Carl remains unconscious, he is breathing easier, there is less gurgling. He groans in his current state, and lying on his back he begins to snore a little. It’s unintelligible, but you thing you hear “Bugb bastard” on an exhalation. He seems restless, his feet move about a time or two.

Diana you chase after the goblins but before you can get to them they are felled by Neils attacks. Bright blue motes of energy fly past you and impact the creatures with soft thuds before an eldritch tentacle rises from the ground between them and brings them crashing to the ground dead. You stand panting over the bodies of two dead goblins and see an open door in the wall just ahead to your left.
Sinju has managed to stem the bleeding and with your support Aedel you manage to get Carl stabilised and patched up. As his eyes softly flutter open you play your music to refresh his wounded spirit. Carl take 1d4+1 healing as the music of Aedel seeps into your mind and eases your pain.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Carl heals for 4 hit points, he comes awake with a start, holding his chest. “What the blast happened there? I was holding my axe and then something hit me… what happened?” He sees the dead bugbear on the ground. “That bastard right there. Saw his beady eyes looking at me, then everything went black.” He sits up against a wall. “Let me…. Let me get by breath.” *hack*, *cough*, *splutter*. A few bloody streaks of mucous come off of his mouth on the ground. “Need a moment here. Didn’t know this place was so…. deadly. I heard the tales, but did I listen? Nooooo.” He chews on his beard and looks at his chest where the javelin skewered him. “Thank yee.” He says as he looks up at Sinju and Aedel.

"Well, I hope there aren't more attackers coming. I think they're gone now." He looks down at Carl. "Are there any others who need wounds healed?" Aedel tries to patch up the small arrow wound with medicine 19.
"We could try to hole up in that loft the wolf was in and lick our wounds before continuing, my armor protected me, but I'd have more energy for another big fight if we rested."

Neil takes a moment to check that all the dead creatures are, in fact, dead.
"Not a bad idea," he says in agreement with Diana. "We may want to collect the bodies and put them somewhere out of sight first before we hunker down, though... if something comes by and sees the carnage we might attract some unwanted attention. But now, how is Carl doing?"

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
"Then I'll meditate. If you need me, I will still be subconscious. After a few hours, I won't need to sleep anymore today. Then I can watch all night while you others sleep, and I'll wake you if needed. And I don't need to meditate all at once, so If you need me, don't hesitate to call. Probably shake me lightly if I don't hear you." Aedel grows silent and begins to meditate.

“Just peachy.” *cough* and a big glob of blood comes out. Carl is far from peachy. “I would be glad to have a chance to bind my wounds and rest. I think we should clean this…” points to the bodies on the ground “up before anyone encounters it. If their friends come by for a friendly game of cards or dice tonight. An hour or two will help me significantly. But I’d feel a lot better with a night’s rest. Up to you.”
Carl stands with difficulty and starts to drag a goblin body somewhere to hide it, with difficulty and staggering a time or two. If there is any fire pit Carl offers to create a bonfire to cremate them, if needed.

Aedel you patch up Carl as best as you are able and get him on his feet.
You move all the bodies into the alcove where the wolf was sleeping to get them out of sight and hunker down for a rest. Carl burning the bodies would not be wise as you are in an enclosed space and there is alot of meat on those bones.
(I guess I'll help him after combat)
Turning to one of the remeaning goblins, I fire a quick arrow. Hit 18, Damage 3.
