Sam says “ ok let’s get out of here. I can try to immobilize it so we can get some distance. “
First, Reaction use Stone Rune
When a creature you can see ends its turn within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to invoke the rune and force the creature to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC12). Unless the save succeeds, the creature is charmed by you for 1 minute. While charmed in this way, the creature has a speed of 0 and is incapacitated, descending into a dreamy stupor. The creature repeats the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. Once you invoke this rune, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
Bonus Action Giants Might and grow large
If it works I’ll move 30’ away and Dash with my movement
uf it does not work I will also grapple the mother bear.

The party doubles back and gives the mama bear the slip. Following trails for a bit the trees around you all seem to be more vibrant and there are more small animals near by.
Marley with your passive perception you swear the squells are following and talking about yall.
You turn one more bend and the trees open up to a small clearing with a pond in the middle. There are 4 pixies dancing in a circle. Chanting something.
They squeak in delight as they see you. And fly over
Pixie: hello welcome to our neck if tge woods. Do you want to play a game?
Maz, ever so excited to meet new people, jumps in.
“oh hello flying pixie friends! My name is Maz and these are my friends. We’re out exploring for interesting things, but I suppose we could play a game if you tell us a bit about it first.” Maz smiles a big happy smile as he looks around at the surroundings.
