Marley with a dirty 20 and a 19. You have pixies before the jungles of your homeland.
You know pexies are trickersters and love to play pranks. An encounter with a pixie rarely goes well because there is always a catch 22. In the moments it does go well a gift from a pixie is a real good thing.
(Up to you if you have this knowledge first hand or otherwise)
Maz the pixies circle you in delight you all in delight.
Pixie: our games are simple do well and win a prize. Not so much will be your demise.
Game 1 a riddle, game 2 a test, game 3 is Tag to top off the rest
(Maz is likely too excited to listen to warnings and too cocky to think a pixie could pull one over on him.)
“hmmm.” Maz thinks a moment. “Tags seems unfair.” He turns his back to the pixies. “See? No wings!” He laughs a bit hoping the pixies join.
“Riddles and tests seem about the same to me.” He scratches at his chin. Finally he decides.
“A riddle it is! I’ve never been great at tests.” He laughs and then smiles at his group, clearly not having heard their discussions. “This will be fun!”
Pixie: "too right you are. We grant you a Pixie's boon and we will send you to join your friends."
They circle around you and cover you in Pixie dust. Before you vanish and reappear in town. There is a bag of Sam's and Marley's stuff at your feet.
Maz and Crunchface you have the Pixie curse. A ability score of your choice is increased by 1 but you are now hovering off the ground and are weightless. You have a fly speed of zero (unless you have wings) but it does not change the amount of weight you can carry.
Marley is hesitant to reply as he tries to remember any stories he may have heard about pixies and their ways.

"Be careful, Maz..." Marley warns, but doesn't want to insult the pixies. "We should maybe go, play another time."
Sam says “yea. Play another time. “
D&D since 1984
(Sorry guys, I was getting my pupils dilated today)
(cue Shadiversity “AAH! FAIRIES!!!”)
Crunchface, not having any experience whatsoever, asks “How could go wrong?”
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.

Pixie: What? you don't want to play?
The pixies say looking at Marley and Sam.
Sam and Marley vanish. Everything you had is left behind.
For Marley and Sam
You two are standing naked in the middle of the town square. You have nothing on your person.
They cheer then circle around Crunchface and Maz.
In unison they say:
Time existed before me, but history can only begin after my creation. What am I
Crunchface whispers to Maz in the tone of whisper you’d expect to come from Crunchface. “Me thinks either writing or language.”
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
Maz looks to Crucnface in a bit of surprise. Both at the insight to the riddle and at the tone of the no so covert whisper. but he nods.
“We believe the is writing.” Maz says feeling very confident. Perhaps it’s misplaced? He is unsure.
Pixie: "too right you are. We grant you a Pixie's boon and we will send you to join your friends."
They circle around you and cover you in Pixie dust. Before you vanish and reappear in town. There is a bag of Sam's and Marley's stuff at your feet.

(So can we still walk or are we stuck in place?)
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
You are stuck unless an outside force affects you. I.e. someone pushes you. You hold on to a horse ect.
“Hmmm. Well this is new.” Maz says with a giggle that quickly fades. “Urmm.. how do we move?” He asks as concern begins to set in.
(Anyone have mage hand? I don’t!)

Crunchface attempts to take a step as well, without any success. “Not good.”
he unslings his staff/axe and attempts to hook it on something and move himself that way.
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
Sam gets dressed.
D&D since 1984
Try as you might your clothes disappear and reappear in a neat pile before you. Same will happy to Marley
“Maybe the game wasn’t such a good idea. Anyone have any guesses on how to reverse this?”
Sam asks "I can borrow some pants from someone." When he gets them he puts those pants on.
D&D since 1984
They go on no problem
