On hit the magical burning branding iron leaves a mark on Gan-re and Gan-re can no longer see Adgon. Everyone else can still see Adgon, but to Gan-re Adgon has just disappeared.
(OOC: really happy when disadvantage not only prevents a hit but also prevents a nat-20 hit!)
The brigand aims a perfect shot at Valrieth's head, just over her shield, but the wind diverts the arrow enough cause it to thunk her wooden shield. Val can't hear the sound of the arrow over the wind, but she can feel the force of the arrow hitting the shield, and her heart skips a beat. What if that had hit her?
Finley quickly casts Cure Wounds on Val. "We got this!"
Healing: 7
Action: Cure Wounds on Valrieth.
Valrieth cannot hear Finley above the sound of the wind, but she feels the open cuts from the brigands' attacks on her stitching up. Despite the party's struggles at the start of this fight, she takes heart. Her friends are still with her, and the Fates didn't send them here to be killed by a bunch of brigands!
Brigand B finally moves to Val and takes a swing at her with a club
Attack: 23 Damage: 6
Of course, immediately followed by getting clubbed by another brigand. :-(
(OOC: Thanks. Hm... Maybe I described it badly, but I still thought that Valrieth's leaf should still be at the intersection that's just 25 ft. north of the raft, where the first causeway that goes NW from the raft meets the section that goes SW. And AFAIK, Finley was "behind" Val, somewhere on that first section of causeway that goes NW away from the raft.)
Finley healed Valrieth last round, but then one brigands struggles through the warding wind toward her, brandishing a club. With no way to retreat, Val raises her shield in attempt to block the brigand's attack, but he swings in under her shield, landing a solid blow.
Val seems to crumple, and the brigand initially thinks he may have knocked her out of the fight. But as she staggered from the hit, Val pivoted and crouched low. She makes a tremendous spring away from the brigand before he can react. She lands on the causeway just behind Finley.
Finley, with the warding wind swirling around you now, you cannot hear anything. But you feel a gentle tug from behind. Then you see a radiant bolt streak past you and toward Agdon.
Val gives Finley a gentle tug to encourage him to fall back toward the boat. She's still focused on taking out Agdon, but Agdon has proved a difficult scoundrel. She feels that they need to be closer their escape route in case they are unable to take out Agdon soon. (Both she and Finley have plenty of range on their attacks.)
Free Action: Tugging on Finley to try to get him to start falling back toward the ice boat. Bonus Action: Rabbit Hop, 10' over to the adjacent causeway, just behind Finley Action: Cast spell (LVL 1 slot) Guiding Bolt, 20, Damage: 19 radiant, targeting Agdon. If the bolt hits, the next attack roll made against this target before the end of your next turn has advantage. Movement: Val moves back away from Finley and toward the ice boat. Val keeps Finley within 10 feet so that he is still protected by the warding wind's AOE. If Finley stays put, Val stays close to him for now, just 10' behind him. If Finley move back toward the NE, Val moves back with him, keeping him within the warding wind's AOE. Unfortunately, that means that Finley moves at half speed, so they would only make it back to the intersection to their NE, where the final causeway branches off to the SE toward the ice boat. Val will move back to that intersection with Finley and then stop, letting him pass her. (She has more movement since the spell does not create difficult terrain for her, but she wants Finley to be able to get out of the wind next round so that he can get to the boat faster.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Wow nice attack)
Already injured by Gan-re Adgon was not quick enough to dodge the bolt of light as it slams into him. He stumbles breathing raggedly, but he still stands.
(It's nice when a good roll comes up when you can really use it. :-) I was especially happy to see higher than average damage on this hit since Agdon had already used his reaction. Hopefully, Finley can leverage the advantage to hit Agdon and finish him off.)

Sniper 1 fires and arrow at Val with disadvantage
Attack: 6 Damage: 11
Val is still a glowing figure with the warding wind whipping around her and engulfing Finley. The sniper's arrow was badly aimed, and it's blown completely off course by the wind, missing Val by several feet.
Finley grits his teeth and throws a thumbs up over his shoulder and launches another lightning blast from the crystal in his gauntlet at Agdon while following Valrieth as best as he can through the wind back towards the intersection to the northeast.
Action: Attack Agdon with the Lightning Launcher. Hit: 25(Crit!) Damage: 9 lightning + 5 lightning critical damage.
Movement: 15' northeast towards the intersection and Valrieth.

Well I am not going to retcon it now, but you can always move back that way if you wish
(OOC: I just realized that I've been forgetting to make Val's CON save to maintain concentration on warding wind.)
For this hit, CON save: 11 (in the game log).
CON save: 22 (in game log).
Bolstered by Finley's healing spell, she maintains concentration on her spell, and the warding wind continues to swirl around her.
Oh that is right warding wind is concentration. Well you pass and Warding Wind is still up.
Gan-re what do you do for your turn?
Gan-Re feels more angry than ever before. He throws caution to the wind, draws his axe and does a reckless attack on the invisible rabbit.
